This is not really for Lenscrafters but their on-staff doctor Dr. Linda Joe. Please do not go to this doctor. I wasted my money. First, there are 2 assistants. One of them was polite but the other was talking to customers as if she was doing us a favor, very snappy and didnt have half the information one could ask of an assistant. Next, there are walk-ins and that totally disrupts your own schedule even if you had an appointment. I waited for 35 mins past my scheduled hour despite telling the assistant while booking the appointment that I cant afford to be late today. Finally, when I was showed in, the doctor treated me like a veterinarian patient, no hello, no doctors name introduction, no smile, no why are you here or do you have any other issues? She took her instruments and went straight for my eye. And within 5 mins, she wrote down the prescription. She didnt tell me anything else, your eyes are fine, take more care, somethings wrong, nothing at all. Not sure if because I didnt have insurance and wanted to pay $60 through card. There was no see you later. I kept waiting in the room until the assistant told me that I could leave now and make the payment at the front desk. The doctor just left the room. I think even dogs and cats get better treatment. I was treated like a cadaver. Some of the others got similar treatment too. She is a total rip off, her communication skills are bad, one of her administrative staff is also not polite. I would strongly advise against going to her.

I am writing this review for both the Lenscrafter Store and the Optometry office next to it. I should have listened to a coworker and avoided this place. I dont mind paying more for better service, but this place is ridiculous. First of all, I had to pay $50 bucks for my eye exam WITH insurance. I got glasses and I picked out a nice pair costing $200. Insurance covered $180 and I still had to pay around $240 for glasses. Mind you, this was after I chose thicker lenses which reduced the cost. Next, I wanted to get contacts. They said I had to back within 3 months in order to get fitted for contacts without having to get a a new eye exam done. Ive been busy with work and other things, so I just didnt get around to it. I called twice after 4 months and they said it would be $90 to get the contact exam and fitting. I waited another 2 weeks because I had to get the money for it, and I called back. Now they tell me that it is $90 for the glasses exam. If I want contacts, I have to get both the glasses and contact exam, which runs $180-200. I told her I just got glasses and I didnt need the exam, but that didnt matter. You have to get both if you want contacts. I should have went to Sears Optical like my friend suggested. I called them and its only $65 without insurance for the contact exam and they dont force me to get the glasses exam. Save time, money, and hassle and look elsewhere for your eye prescription needs.

As soon as i walked in, i was promptly greeted by the receptionists. I had made a prior appt online. They asked for my insurance and directed me to start filling out some paperwork since i was a new patient and had never been to this location before. They were very knowledgeable about my insurance and about the other testing they offer. They sat and explained everything in detail to me so that i could better understand why exactly i would need the further testing. After completeing the paperwork, the lady did my initial tests and then took me on back to the exam room. I only waited maybe a few minutes before the Dr came in. She greeted me with a hello and we began the exam. She asked me when my last eye exam was and then did a complete evaluation. Once we were done, she walked me to the front where the ladies helped get my checked out and the Dr signed and gave me my prescription. I loved that their office is all electronic and made for ease of requesting a 2nd copy of my prescription since i misplaced the first one.

Terrible service! I ordered a pair of sunglasses and when I received them the color was different than the one they had on display the day I ordered them. I spoke to three different employees about this 2 ignored me and one told me that the tortoise will never be the same color (the ones I got looked camouflage), I ask if they had the ones on display could I have those instead, he said yes, unfortunately they didnt have them anymore. He didnt even try calling other stores to see if they had them or anything he just said to go to the northpark LensCrafters maybe they have them there. I felt like they didnt even care about costumer satisfaction. I went to NorthPark and they didnt have the sunglasses there but Fernando was kind enough to call different locations to see if they had them there and a new pair of sunglasses will be sent to the store for me :)
