Over the past year I have had shooting/sharp pains, numbness, clammy/cold sensations, and slight swelling in my left shoulder and arm. These symptoms radiated down my arm and into my wrist, hand, & fingers…and down my left leg into my foot. The pain in my shoulder/arm would become so severe that I found myself in tears contemplating a trip to the ER on several occasions. I visited my family Dr. and we ruled out a slew of problems through blood tests, so she directed me to a neurologist who began a series of MRIs. The first round of MRIs was producing no explanation for the pain I was having, so we scheduled more MRIs. My Dr. informed me of various auto-immune diseases that produced similar symptoms, and those tests were coming next. I have had regular chiropractic care for 10 years, but when these symptoms began my chiropractor urged me to see a neurologist. I am in my late 20s, in relatively great shape, and I am extremely active (work, travel, family life). I believe in taking charge of my own health, so I refused to continue down a path of testing, injections, and medicine for pain management without first exploring the natural remedies available to me. My new plan was to invest a good effort in finding a natural remedy for all my pain, and if I failed to find one, I could always continue testing for medical explanations. I began researching chiropractic care in Dallas and found Dr. Kevin @ Trinity Chiropractic. Why this chiropractor over the other hundred internet hits I received? The literature on chiropractic wellness that he provides to us on his website exceeded any other website I browsed. As I read through all the information, I could tell this Dr. had a passion for helping his patients feel better and stay better. In order to accomplish this, Dr. Kevin utilizes cutting-edge techniques and technology in his practice. He does not use a standard approach for each patient, which is what I have been used to for 10 years. On my first visit, he customized a wellness plan that fit my specific problems. This wellness plan covered what he could do for me in his office as well as what I could do for myself throughout my day-to-day activities. I asked him if he could “fix” me on my first few visits, and each time he was confident that I would feel better if I kept coming. After 4/5 appointments with Dr. Kevin, the pain has resolved itself by 90% on my left side. Thankfully, I have canceled all my medical appointments. I have not felt this well in a year and I didnt take medicine or have injections to accomplish this. After suffering with severe upper back pain and tingling in my arms and hands, for almost 6 months, being diagnosed with a cervical spine herniated disc, and seeing a “Spine Specialist” for several months, countless hours waiting in his waiting room for five minutes worth of his time, a cortisone shot in my spine, with no positive results or improvement, I decided to look into other methods to relieve my pain. I surfed the Internet and found Trinity Family Chiropractic/Dr. Kevin Smith. Having never considered Chiropractic care before, I was a little skeptical, however, I noted that “Dr. Kevin” received all five star ratings and that several people mentioned the same type of back problem I had. Since most people don’t bother to write reviews unless they have something negative to say, I thought he must be doing something right and I would give him and this method a try. After all, it is a drug free, surgery free method of healing…two considerations very important to me, when possible. I was not disappointed with my choice. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised, when, on my first visit, Dr. Kevin not only spent about 30 minutes going over my x-rays with me, along with explanations of what he could do for me, he also, that very same visit, worked on my back and I left that day feeling better both mentally and physically. FINALLY, a doctor who gave me more than five minutes of his time AND showed a genuine interest. And the first visit was not a fluke! Every visit has been pleasant and helpful. Dr. Kevin is genuine, caring, and pleasant and goes WAY above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you get proper care. I’m so very happy to report that after seeing him for the last two months my back feels 95% better and the tingling that I had running up and down my arms has completely disappeared. I feel so much better now and owe it all to Dr. Kevin. If you have any type of back pain, I STRONGLY recommend that you give Chiropractic care a try and you’ll find no better Doctor than Dr. Kevin Smith with Trinity Family Chiropractic. Give him a call. Our family is new to Texas, and one of the many "to dos" for a Mom when relocating is to find medical professionals. A chiropractor is always at the top of my list because chiropractors can actually DO something, without surgery or drugs. I have two 14 year olds, and both are very active. Over the years, they have come to trust chiropractic treatments, and they tell ME when they need to go. Both have now seen Dr. Kevin, and I give him 5 stars: for the level of service he provides, the throughness of his treatments, and the state-of-the-art technology he uses. We have used chiropractic care in several states, for at least the past 15 years, and some of the technology Dr Kevin uses, we have never seen. He is that "cutting-edge" in his treatment. He is also gentle and understanding he is on a personal level. He is a VERY personable guy, and really relates well to kids, particularly being a Dad himself. My kids are very comfortable with Dr. Kevin, and my very fearful daughter trusts him completely. With the competitive level of the athletic programs in this area, there will always be a tiny bone out of place, a sprain, or just general discomfort. Dr. Kevin is able to isolate the cause, and gently apply the appropriate treatment. We are extremely pleased to have found Dr. Kevin Smith ... As an update, this review was originality written almost 4 years ago. We continue to receive excellent service from Dr. Kevin, and my kids now contact him directly when they need care. Kids have a good "read" on people, and mine continue to trust Dr. Kevin completely.

Dr. Kevin Smith is my second chiropractor. The previous one was also very professional and knowledgeable, but he was lacking the feedback and I was not feeling that he wants to cure the root cause of my condition. So I started looking for another chiropractor and found Dr. Kevin. I have a few positive things to say about my experience with Dr. Kevin. First, Dr. Kevin is using complex approach: he will find what is wrong with you, explain your problem in a manner that you could understand (which is very important to me), and develop a treatment plan which includes regular chiropractors alignments done by hand, physiotherapy, massages and he also will provide you a set of exercises which you could do at home. And he also explains to you what are you doing wrong on a day to day basis abd why that is developing your problems. That way, you could change your behaviour and starting live more healthy life. Second, which is very important to me too, he is focused on getting you fixed and not getting you ripped off, he wouldnt be attempting to keep scheduling visits just to get a profit out of you. Third, he have just a great personality and pleasant to deal with. And a greatly designed offfice, too. My case was a misalignment of neck vertebras due to wrong exercising. I was in terrible pain and was unable to move my head more than 1inch in any direction. He fixed me on my first visit and I did around 6 more appointments to get rid of my neck problems completely.
