I can say, with honesty, that I have never been more anxious or fearful of anything in my life than I was of having to get a root canal. I went into my dentist to have a filling from many years ago replaced, and once she got in there, she told me there was a spot where my nerve was a little exposed. She went on with the filling but warned me that there was a pretty good chance Id need a root canal and that the tooth would let me know if so. Sure enough, I was back in her chair within a few days, and she referred me to Dr. Cragun. Im not even embarrassed to admit that I cried like a baby leaving the dentist that day because I was just absolutely terrified of having to get a root canal. (In my defense, I have TMJ, so I was more worried about having to hold my jaw open for that length of time than anything else. I knew I wouldnt feel any pain from the procedure itself - I was just so worried about the TMJ aspect of it.) First, within moments of walking into Dr. Craguns office, I felt at ease. Its a smaller office, so that took some of the intimidation out of it, and every staff member I met was just so, incredibly warm and welcoming. The girls I met to start my appointment helped me relax, but I was still nervous, waiting to meet Dr. Cragun. As soon as he stepped into the room and started talking to me, I was 100% calm and my fears were put to rest. He has such an easy-going, calming presence, AND hes funny, which was HUGE for me. (I handle uncomfortable situations with humor and sarcasm), so this earned him 100 bonus trust-points in my book. ;) As for the procedure itself - it should be very telling that Im JUST now getting to that part... It was NOTHING. I literally didnt feel a single thing, and my TMJ wasnt at all an issue because he gave me a "bite block" to help hold my mouth open, so I could rest my jaw. He checked on me every 10 minutes or so throughout the procedure, asking if I was okay and offering to give me breaks if needed. He would also put his hand on my shoulder and tell me that I was doing awesome and would give me updates on how much time I had left. I was in and out of his office within 45 minutes, and I have never felt such relief. :) For as much fear and anxiety as I felt leading up to this root canal, I just cannot sing Dr. Craguns praises enough. He took what I thought was going to be an awful experience and made it quick and completely painless. Obviously, I pray I never have to have another one, but thanks to Dr. Cragun, I wont be fearful of it from here on out. There arent enough stars on Google to properly rate him and his office staff!

This office is very untruthful, dishonest and shady. My spouse was sent there from a referral from our dentist office. The receptionist took the insurance card, ran it and then gave it back saying your all taken care of. The bill seemed a lot but my spouces tooth really needed taken care of right away. Come to find out, they were not in our network and the office receptionist didnt ever bother to say anything! This has put such a huge financial burden on our family. We have gone back to the office to see if there is anything they could do to fix the situation, but they say its not their policy to tell people if they are in or out of network and there isnt anything the office can do. To make matters worse, my spouse tooth is starting to hurt again almost four weeks later after they told her the tooth will never hurt again. This office took advantage of my spouse who had a tooth that was hurting badly. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE! They dont care for their patients, they just care about taking more of your money.

I am a general dentist who regularly refers patients to Dr. Cragun. I can attest that he does beautiful work while preserving the most amount of natural tooth structure. This is important to me because I want my patients to have their natural teeth for as long as possible. While I do have closer endodontists to me, I regularly refer to Dr. Cragun because I know that my patients will be taken care of whether it is the front desk or Dr Cragun himself. I regularly get patients telling me how fast and painless their root canal therapy was. His clinical work and bedside manner are outstanding. I highly recommend Dr. Cragun if you are looking for an endodontist.

I recently visited Cragun Endodontics for the "dreaded" root canal. I have had the joyous experience before and was not really looking forward to the event. But....the experience was 5 Star. The staff was professional yet warm. Dr. Cragun was extremely good at putting me at ease. The procedure, while not totally a visit to Disney World, was far better than my expectations. There was no discomfort during the procedure and certainly no difficulties post operatively. I only had a local injection and never even used a tylenol that evening. I can and do recommend Cragun Endodotics to any and all. They really do take the "dread" out of root canal.

No other endodontist compares to Dr. Cragun! My husband has had 2 root canals previously done by other doctors. After receiving treatment at Cragun Endodontics, my husband could not stop talking about what an amazing job Dr. Cragun did on his root canal! Dr. Cragun is knowledgeable, experienced, has a steady hand, and friendly. He put my husband at ease and was able to talk him through and explain the entire procedure to him. The staff was friendly and able to schedule him an appointment right away! So convenient, affordable, and reputable, I will definitely use Cragun Endodontics for all of my familys future needs.

I have to giggle about the 5 stars- it says loved it! I am not sure that anyone out there loves having a "root canal", however, Dr. Cragun was absolutely the BEST, all the way around, with the procedure!!! He is kind, gentle and soft spoken (calm) during the whole procedure, which ensures comfort all the way through, making sure you are "ok" on a regular basis! Way to go Doc!!! His staff is amazing- shout out to Shannon, Megan, and Miranda! From the moment I walked into the office, I felt like a person they actually cared about, not just "another" patient! Thank you!!!!!!!!

Great experience! Dr. Cragun did a great job and made me feel at ease about my procedure. Hes hilarious! I feel very satisfied with my procedure. His front desk receptionists are great! They were very friendly and talked me through pricing and payment options. He even called me that night to check in on me! I referred him to one of my friends and they were very pleased as well. If you want to go somewhere that will take care of you, this is the place to go.

Great practice & staff! Dr. Cragun & his staff are fantastic. I was referred to his practice from my primary dentist for an emergency root canal. They were able to see me within 30 minutes and to immediately fit me in for the procedure. I was extremely thankful! They were kind, friendly and very caring. The staff was very clear about how billing would work and about every detail of the procedure, checking on how how was feeling the whole time.
