THE BEST of everything. Dr. Grubbs is amazing. I cant even count the number of times he has found things that other vets missed. Words can not explain how good he is. This is just one example...I had a dog who was acting very lethargic. Another vet did blood work and x-rays found nothing wrong. I drove 2 hours to see Dr. Grubs ( I had moved away from Dallas) He does an examination and figures out my dog had strained a muscle in his back. He wasnt moving around because it hurt his back!! He gets an injection and leaves good as new. Its not even that the other vets that I went to were bad..... Dr. Grubbs is just that good. I could give you countless other examples but dont really feel like typing a novel. In terms of pricing, I would say they are comparable to what I have spent at other vets. I would not say it was "cheap" but I have never felt ripped off or over charged. It is usually Dr. Grubbs telling me not too spend the extra $$ on bloodwork/x-rays etc until we have tried the other treatment options first. He takes his time examining your pets and always gives you an explanation for the treatment plan. The facility is outstanding and it appears they have newest/best equipment. Most importantly everyone on the staff really cares about the animals. I never have to worry about the way my animals are treated because everything at Campbell treats them as if they were their own pets. I have been to the other vets on occasion when Dr. Grubbs was out and they have impressed me as well. I really cant say enough wonderful things about this place. If you want the best possible care for your animal I would bring it to Campbell Park

Dr. Procell at Campbell Park Animal Hospital has earned our loyalty. Our maltese has had her fair share of health issues throughout her 10 years, and Dr. Procell is absolutely the best vet we have had treat her or any other pet. He has been with us for at least 7 of those years. More than any other veterinarian, Dr. Procell really takes the time to come to the correct diagnosis. He also explains the science behind his theories and suggestions. After several attempts, he was able to solve a digestive system imbalance that other vets had basically given up on resolving. We have also been through two successful surgical experiences with Dr. Procell. At each stage of the process, he has gone out of his way to ask questions, explain his diagnoses, offer to answer our questions, and has taken the time to personally call us with results and updates. Really, the entire staff at Campbell Park deserves credit for being great communicators and super responsive. In addition, our experience is that Campbell Park is practical in their treatment recommendations and competitively priced. On several occasions, either Dr. Procell or a staff person offered multiple options for treatment, medications, food, etc. (Of course, as my wife says, no expense is too great when it comes to our dog/family members health.) There is no other veterinarian I would trust with our canine family member. I just wish I could find a human doctor that I trust as much as I do Dr. Procell.

Had my English bulldog rushed to Campbell Park after severely overheating. While everyone there worked diligently to save my dog when it got to closing time on a Friday afternoon we were forced to move at 6:00pm. I told them I didnt have a vehicle big enough and my wife was getting there as fast as possible. They said oh well you can take her in your car. I explained that there was nowhere to lay her down and they did not care. They wanted us out at 6:00. Luckily she got there at 5:55 and we had to transport our dog to emergency care. I was explained that they werent able to provide the care she needed. We had to take her elsewhere. My family and I feel that they were only wanting to leave at closing time on a Friday afternoon. . Daisy had to be transported 20 minutes away without the oxygen that she so desperately needed. They should have NEVER let us leave the clinic as our dog had to be put down an hour later. I have a lot more to say but wont here. We will not be going back to this clinic. I am not a bitter person but will tell you that if you have an emergency this is not the place to go. They are more of a routine care animal clinic

We first went to Campbell Park Animal Hospital right after we moved to the area and woke up to find our Great Dane, Murphy, unresponsive. We called Campbell Park and without hesitation they told us to bring him in. They met us in the parking lot with a stretcher and carried Murphy inside. When they knew it was something that would require MRIs and scans, the referred us to a specialist where Murphy remained in ICU for a week. Ever since that day, we have taken both our dogs to Campbell Park for veterinary care as well as grooming for our miniature schnauzer. They listen to all our concerns and answer our questions so patiently. It turns out, our dog has Addisons Disease. All the doctors at Campbell Park have been so fantastic with providing Murphy with the best care and the best options available for management of his disease. Whenever it looks like he is starting to go downhill, they always let us come in as soon as we can. I cant say enough wonderful things about Campbell Park Animal Hospital. They saved our dogs life and we are forever grateful to them!

Weve been taking our animals to Campbell Park and Dr. Grubbs for more than a dozen years now since we lived in Garland near their old offices. Our first visit was to take our Golden Retriever there. She had a dysfunctional patela and had blown the ACLs in one of her knees. We had taken her to another vet who prescribed doggie aspirin and we just knew that wasnt going to help. Dr. Grubbs who is a Master Diagnostician in about two minutes diagnosed her blown knee and he did the surgery a few days later. Dr. Grubbs is one of the most warm hearted people youd ever want to know and we count him and Tina and the Campbell Park family as part of our family. He always takes the time to answer all our questions and he treats our animals like they were his, even with the hard decisions that inevitably come. Now we live more than 40 miles away from his office but we would not remotely consider changing vets. On a scale of 1 to 10 Dr. Grubbs and Campbell Park are a 20 in our book! Wed give him 10 Stars if that were possible!

Last May I came home from a weekend trip with the girls to discover my little pug/schnauzer mix had not eaten at all while I was gone (very unusual). I coaxed & watched her the next day & then on third day woke up at 6:45 am to find her sitting in blood. I yelled for my husband & I grabbed her up & drove to Campbell Park. I dont live far from Campbell Park & had seen it often driving by it. When I rushed my beloved Venus in there, wrapped in a towel, they immediately took her and started the examination without asking for me to fill out any forms or paperwork that ALL the other vets insisted on before theyd see my pet. Dr. Purcell was amazing. He diagnosed her right away & kept her 2 days for observation. He saved her life. After running in there like a mad woman with no appointment, & her staying 2 days, I thought to myself this was going to cost me!! Surprising, it was very reasonable. I would recommend Campbell Park Vet to any & everyone! Thanks, Dr. Purcell.
