We were fearful of taking our little ones to a dentist, too many jump to wanting to do procedures that arent at all necessary, which unfortunately, can have tragic consequences. We spent a lot of time looking for a great dentist for our 11, 2 and 4 year olds. We found this place and werent able to find a single bad review anywhere, which is awesome!!! We took our little ones in. Our 4 year old had a few cavities, they were only concerned about a couple of them, in the x-rays, they were getting close to the root so Dr. Kelly wants to get them cleaned out and covered, which is a pretty minor solution, which is awesome. She wasnt concerned about the other as they are on teeth that will fall out in 2-3 years anyways and arent going to cause any major problems. Our 11 year old went in today, they found one cavity, which they said they arent going to touch because that tooth should fall out in a few months. Most dentists would want to pull it or drill on it. They make things great for the parents as well, they explain the x-rays clearly and explain why they feel the treatment they have presented is necessary and why it isnt necessary to address the other cavities or other problems they may find, so there are no surprises and it also reassures the parents that they arent completing procedures that arent necessary. Dr. Kelly is always so sweet to our kids, shes an amazing lady and great dentist. She makes sure the children that come into their office are as comfortable as they possibly can be so that the experience of going to the dentist isnt a scary one. This dental office offers a wonderful one of a kind office and experience you wont find anywhere else. An additional perk, they have arcades upstairs for kids (and parents) to play, a Starbucks machine to brew coffee for the adults, when the appointments are over, the kids can get a balloon and also get a token to use in a few vending machines they have next to the check out desk. Out of a 5 star review, I give this place a 100! They far exceeded my expectations and very grateful that we found them!

I cant even begin to describe our experience at Star Smiles. Weve been dentist hopping for a few years and I believe we have truly found our pediatric dentist home. Dr Kelly Gonzales was amazing with my daughter and even more rare...she was amazing with me. We went in with a few concerns, and feeling pretty jaded from a previous recommendation that I felt was extremely aggressive for my four year old little girl. I left the previous office in absolute tears and fearing that we had no options to avoid some pretty scary dental procedures, and no option but to ruin my daughters pretty little smile for the next 8 years. However, after talking with Dr. Kelly, i felt relieved, hopeful that we could get her dental health under control, and she gave me plenty of options that werent even mentioned in the previous dentists . My daughter loved the office, didnt want to leave, and when we left she said... "mama, I like that dentist the best! I want to go back there!" I think its safe to say she has won us over. The facility is clean, engaging, and colorful, and full of things for the kids to do while they wait from ipads, to movies, and toys, a menu of toothpastes, and fun prizes once their appointment is over. The staff is friendly, sweet, and are obviously happy to be at work. I would 100% recommend this office to anyone looking for a kid friendly dentist. They definitely do dentist with a sweet mamas touch.

Ive taken my children to this place for the last year and I have to say that it is seriously the best dentist to take your children to. Im not only saying this to win a Kindle fire, but I sincerely mean it. I wish my dentist were like this when I was a kid. My daughter unfortunately had a tooth that had very little enamel and she had a cavity. :( I was worried for her, as I know that they would have to give her a shot to take care of this. :( They put her in the chair, gave her a movie to watch(Frog and the Princess), and away they went. She was 5 at the time and not very patient, but she went through it perfectly. She is even excited when she was to go to the dentist. Still to this day, my daughter has no idea that they gave her a shot. Seriously, these dentists are wonderful with children, and even though it is their job to do so, they sincerely care about the kids. They have all these methods to distract the kids so they dont focus on any fear that they may have of dentists. Kindle or not, Id have written this review anyway. Thanks for making my children not fear the dentist!

Both of my children have been going to Star Smiles for a few years. They love it. When I schedule an appointment, the staff asks if I have a preference of which doctor to see, I tell them which ever one, because they all treat my kids like family. My son, he has very sensitive eyes and the lights are rough for him to handle. The staff is compassionate, very patient and empathic to him. They are creative and find new fun ways to help him. My son use to have major issues going to the dentist and would cry. Now when we go, he walks in with confidence. My daughter who is almost 13, tells me she likes to go to the dentist, that they talk to her like a young lady and not a baby. They talk to her about what is going on, while I listen to what they have to say. It really is a great dentist office for the kids.

My daughter has seen Dr. Kelly for the last two years and I could not be more pleased. She loves to hear stories about the pretty princess in the castle as her teeth are being cleaned! She is kept engaged during the entire visit and has overcome her fears with ease. She is excited to tell people she has her own Dr. Dentist!!! Dr. Kelly and staff were great in getting us in when we thought we had an emergency and calmed Moms fears quickly! I was quite impressed when searching for a pediatric dentist that my own dentist recommended Dr. Kelly before recommending himself!!! Dr. Kelly is not part of our "preferred providers" with insurance, but we wouldnt change for the world! Angelica

The only way to go to the dentist! Dr Kelly & Dr Campbell are smart, fun, pleasant, and they have a wonderful staff, too. My son loves to get his coins to put into the machine for his prize at the end. The office is very clean, and theres a toddler playroom. Hes never been anywhere else, so he wouldnt know what to do without a TV above his head during cleanings :) He had to have a cavity filled, and it was super easy and no surprises - they had prepared us well for the whole (simple, painless) process. Dr Kelly said, "if he were my child, I would go ahead and fill it" and I know shed thought hard about it and meant it!

As we all know as parents, taking your kids to the dentist can be a difficult task at times. Not so at Star Smiles!! From the second you walk in the door you are transported to a magical land that kids will love. There are smiling faces on all the staff and you can just tell that everyone there truly enjoys their job. Dr. Kelly is so great with my girls and they actually look forward to the the visit every six months. Thank you so much to everyone there who makes this necessary part of life a whole lot easier!!
