First of all, I called the store to verify if they had a certain dog food brand and I spoke to Sam. He said he did have some and I told him I had coupons to use with the dog food. I asked them if it would be okay to use them and he said yes. I made the 30 minute drive over there and got my bags of dog food. I go to the cashier and she automatically call the manager which is Sam, the same guy I spoke to, because there were too many coupons. Sam goes to the back and verify the coupons which were legit. And he comes back saying that I cannot use them because "there are too many coupons." Even though the coupon did not state there was a limit per transaction and Petsmart coupon policy does not state there is a limit. When I wanted to price match to PetCo he told me they couldnt even though their coupon policy states they can. He only let me use a couple and told me that I cannot "wipe his store out" and accused me of wiping out other stores, which was untrue and very unprofessional. He said he needed to leave some for his "regular customers" not just the "coupon customers." The cashier was very vocal as well stating that "there should be a limit to these coupons because people have been coming in for the dog food all day." Manufacturers send out coupons for customers to use, employees need to follow their policies and not make up their own rules. I have never experienced an ugly situation like I did today. Customers are customers, it does not matter if the payment is coupons or cash. Either way, I was going to pay the remaining balance with my money so I dont know what the big deal was. I do not recommend this store to anyone! I wasted an hr of my day driving to and from this place after I had called to verify first. Corporate was notified.

Terrible staff insulting me and pup. I usually mind my own business walk in for dry and some wet food for my pug. when the cashier asks what kind of dog is it (thinking shes never seen a pug before) I stated what type he was and she just says Im wrong that hes not a pug that she has a pug and hers is pretty much 100% pug and starts showing me pictures of her fat gray pug unlike mine that apparently to her looked like a pugle which I didnt even know what the heck that was till I got home. Another day I went to get my wife some beta worms when the red haired fish tendant literally yelled at me and rolled her eyes for touching the glass while looking at fish, maybe it was her time of the month according to her hair color but now I dont even want to step foot in that store and since then been going to the Paw Pantry on 77

My wife and I frequent this store for our aquarium and dog needs. The aquarium selection isnt the greatest since their stock isnt always great. The McAllen stores fish section is huge in comparison. The staff was rude to my wife once, which left a bad taste for the place. We take our Great Dane to the groomers there for her nails and theyre quick about it which is good and the price is very fair! The food price is a bit to the pricy side. Overall the store is pretty clean, the majority of the staff is friendly though not always knowledgeable. For quick fix needs, Id recommend this store.

I recently had an unpleasant experience at a local pet groomer because according to them I "cut my pups hair too short" so I went into PetSmart looking for a multivitamin and the trainer Daniel helped me look for what I needed as I had a meltdown because of the guilt I felt. As I was in tears he calmed me down and was really helpful explaining how puppys hair will grow back and that its all a learning experience as first time parents. Im really thankful. This branch always has helpful staff. You can tell they enjoy interacting with animals.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE FOR GROOMING SERVICES!!!!!! My family and I have been taking our small dog there for grooming services for a couple of years. Not only have they cut him once,but theyve cut him a total of 3 times, this last time required stitches! To top it off,the manager told my mom and sister two different stories on how the incident happened. Beyond disappointed!! Weve exused the two previous cuts,but not sure what this says about the staff of groomers if a dog requires stitches.

Selection of pet supplies is good, however this store doesnt sell live feeders for the reptiles. They sell snakes yet they only sell frozen mice for consumption, that may work for a few months but it is not sustainable.

I always go there to look for food, toys & medicine for my fur baby, alil bit expensive but worth it. Very clean & nice attentive personal always willing to help you at a moments notice!

Every small pet weve bought there has been sick (we bought several cause we didnt realize why they were dying), and Ive seen sick animals in their cages. The staff is great though.

What a joke. While this Petsmart advertises they have a Banfield Pet Hospital, it is not operating because they do not have a vet. Seriously? Like I said... what a joke.

They sold me sick rats that i had to return. Plus they gave me ring fungus which took a week to cure! If there was 0 stars as a review i would give them that.

Its a pretty big store with all of the pet supplies you need inside. The staff are nice, and its great that you can take your dogs inside to shop with you.

In an out. Basically, has all sorts of great stuff for your pets. Fishes, and you can also adopt a cat. Wish they had better customer service.
