My father who was diagnosed- surgerized for prostate cancer 3 years ago in Mexico Was a patient of Dr. Carreros for a short period of time. THANKFULLY. Her attitude was very poor, cold and completely unprofessional towards my fathers case. Anyone who has or has had cancer and surgery knows how ones spirits are fragile . Her empathy or lack there of was very obvious according to my father and mother, who accompanied my father to his visits. The first visit were ok. She only prescribed his cancer medications for 3 months. Then stopped, referring him to numerous other doctors, urologist, nephrologist, cardiologist so they could prescribe his medication again( which never happened) The last 2 or 3 visits he never saw her, his appointments were cancelled, due to vacation and the doctor taking time off. On one of the last face to face visits the doctor told my father to go back to Mexico where he had his surgery and seek help there and have them give him his medications, because she could not do anything for him. Her assistant/nurse Mrs. Garza had the audacity to tell my father that really his only option is to go home and pray, at this point thats the best!!!!!!!! This woman told my father to basically go home and wait to die!!!!!!! HOW IS THIS ETHICALLY ACCEPTABLE??????? I believe she has forgotten some key ideas in her Hippocratic Oath.

Excellent Care. I am a physician myself (yes doctors do need to see the doctor) and Dr Carrero is always professional and provides great care. Shes seen me several times and has build great rapport. She try cares about my health. As a physician myself, I sincerely appreciate her.
