Twice PA and two different ones did not write a precription. Another time over the phone I asked for a test since my blood pressure has been high. I was told that I would have to pay out of pocket for the test. I called my insurance and they okayed the test which I was also told by his PA that Dr revana would not order. I got my PCP to order the test which came back with a new diagnosis of borderline pulmonary hypertension. In addition, I called in (have names but withholding) and MA said she would get the prescriptions to Walmart. Well they never got there. Excuse was new system. I called answering service and they called me back and said doctor wanted pharmacy number. I looked it up and gave it to her. Then the nurse called me and asked what I Needed and I could not remember. Then I spoke with nurse again and told her Losartan/hctz and amlodepibe. She said the pharmacy had filled Lisinopril. I said doctor took me off that. I spoke to the manager of the pharmacy today, July 24 and he said Lisinopril was a new prescription not a refill. Then I got the printout and it showed nurses name on the refill request of July 22! That meant the office ordered it. I told office manager I was concerned a about 3 instances and the office staff needed to be more aware and listen to the doctor and follow his direction. She said maybe I needed to find another doctor. Interesting practice when the patient has no rights to professional treatment and not be called rebellious by one of their cum laude self righteous PAs who says I have to pay out of pocket and the Dr Revana wont order an echo which insurance will ok. Same office that gave me the persantine myoview stress test where my headache was severe. I went looking for the doctor across the hall. All they had was a MA and tech administering the test. No one took my blood pressure after I got off the table when the headache was so severe that my husband had to go get the cuff in the car to take it which I told the doctor when he came in the room it was 179 which equates to 200 as calibrated against his blood pressure monitor in his exam room. Dr may be good? but correcting things wrong does not seem to fit with office manager if you say anything or perhaps the doctor. . I hope and pray I can find people that are concerned for their patients and listen. This office seemingly has issues for a cardiologist office for a patient who takes 5 blood pressure medicines since she had the stress test at this office and had no long term issues with high blood pressure that was uncontrollable prior to going here. As of Sept 2016, my blood pressure records from my PCP which I have, showed no uncontrollable blood pressure. I was on Lisinopril/hctz. Not till the stress test was my blood pressure hitting 200, 180 etc and me visiting his office multiple times in a month. Of course having PAs forgetting to write a precription is ok!! Find a better office with better care.

Although I love the doctor, he is amazing, his staff on the vein center side need some serious training in medical coding, and people skills! I had 2 procedures last October and everything was fine. Needed 2 more and got a phone call from one of the girls telling me everything was good to go, but I received a denial letter from my insurance advising they were still waiting for more info from the doctors office. I called the office and was told that everything was cleared. I called the insurance company back and was told that it was NOT! These procedures are over $5k each! Had I shown up, I would have been out this money and then they denied calling me...good thing I saved my voicemail from them. Then, when I finally got approval, at 4:56pm the day. Befor, I get a brief call telling me that I will need to pay my yearly deductible plus 10% and my co-pay before they can do my surgery the next morning at 5:30am! I called the insurance company to see what was going on and they were very helpful, gave me a case # and told me to give that to them and have them call. I trried calling the doctors office back, but they closed at 5:00pm (how convenient). The next morning I show up for my procedure and when I tried to give them the information, the first girl, Maria, I believe was her name, was very cold, she told me she would not call them and that shed just put their billing department on me if I didnt comply. Mind you, the insurance company had already advised me that this was an in office procedure and that didnt fall under the yearly deductible, it was a flat co-pay. Then, Melissa, the one that usually prepped me for my procedures, I tried to explain to her and she went off on me telling me that they would be charging me as a same day surgery and that I should be thankful that my deductible wasnt like $3k like some of their patients! Seriously, I am very thankful that I have a manageable co-pay, but by them doing this, that I would be out almost over $1600 in just 7 days and that was far more than the $100 per procedure Id footed just 2 months prior. She was very cold, which was unlike her, but still it was enough that I got up and left and didnt go through with the procedure and havent been back! There was absolutely no excuse for how I was treated! Its a shame because the doctor is amazing!

The doctor may be ok, but schedule appointments - you have to wait over an hour. Several other people were complaining as well. When ask about the problem, the staff agrees this is an ongoing issue. There were several elderly patients including my 84 year old dad. Very disrespectful ans discounting of patients time. Oh yeah, there is a $50 fee for no shows. Double standards. No mention of apologies and/or working on improvements. But your payment is due.

I had heart attack in 1983 and coronary bypass 2months later. I have needed his expert service on number our occasions since. I probably would have gone where the angels sing or to the other place if not for him. Sure he and I have had our differences, but I am now 83 and a possibility of a few more years. Sure the service takes a little longer but his practice has really grown in the last 35 plus years meaning he has more patients to care for.

Horrible! LEFT my mother in law in the hospital for a week with no release to do endoscopy. She went three different days with no food or drink because he failed to mark her chart.
