Dr. Nunez is my step father so I will not address this as if I am his patient. However, I worked in his office last summer and currently work there after I finish my other job so I see his professionalism just as much, if not more, than most. I have seen many reviews on other sites stating that his office staff is rude, uncaring, etc. This was true about 2 years ago and since then new employees have been hired that are both competent and knowledgeable about their job. In regards to the time factor, the only way to put this is that he takes pride in what he does and takes his time with each patient in order to really do what is needed. So if you dont have time to wait then consider scheduling your appointment at a more convenient time or finding a doctor who wont take the time and energy to sit down and do what is best. One more thing is his philosophy is that a doctor-patient relationship is not 50/50, it is 100/100. He cant do his job properly if the patient doesnt do their job as a patient, (i.e. following the diet and prep guidelines along with whatever else is being instructed). Dr. Nunez will do whatever he can for his patients to the best of his ability (which in my opinion is just about as good as you can achieve). With that said, I would recommend him for both his commitment and his ability to do his job.

Horrible office staff. Dr. Nunez was great during my colonoscopy. But after it I was very sick. I called for three days because I was very sick and every time I called the ladies at the front just responded by saying Im not sure if thats normal. By the third day I finally got transferred to the nurse who instructed me to go to E.R. After leaving the E.R I was told to follow up early this week with dr. Nunez. When I called I was told I could not get in till the end of April. (Mind you I just got out of the E.R and was told that he wanted me to follow up this week.) Then when I called again and asked to speak to an office manager I was just transferred to another front desk lady who pretended to be the office manager and finally put me in. So I walked into the office and the two very rude front desk ladies checked me in and when I informed them my deductible was met. She said shed have to call. But acted like she didnt want to. I did not want to pay more then I had to so I asked to be rescheduled to a time where they can verify it. She Rudly said that she didnt know if I could be rescheduled. I left and will never be back because of the two girls in the front. They have awful customer service. They do not care about patient care.

I LOVE Dr. Nunez. He was recommended to me by a friend who is very hard to impress so that says a lot! Dr. Nunez is so considerate and a GREAT doctor. Very thorough and caring. I had an endoscopy at the surgery center in Humble and the entire process from start to finish was exceptional. The entire staff - receptionist, nurses, anethesiologist, etc. were kind, attentive, and professional. I wish all doctors were as wonderful as he is!!

Office staff had a snooty attitude when called to inquire if they accepted my insurance.
