Dr. Rachel Robinson is AWESOME!!!!!!! When I first moved to Texas in Sept. of 2016, I was on my fourth pregnancy. I had 2 miscarriages and 1 early delivery at 22 weeks. Due to my daughter being born early, she only survived for about 2 hours. My doctor from my hometown didnt have answers as to why I was miscarrying or why I loss my daughter. They ran test after test after test and still no answers for me. I knew what the problem was after the fact it was all over with seeing my sister experienced the same thing. So when I moved to Texas I wanted the best doctor there was to care for me during my pregnancy. I got online and searched. I came across Dr. Robinson who had great reviews and high stars, so I decided to go with her (and because her and my late daughter share the same last name lol). Dr. Robinson was so patient, attentive, detailed, well mannered, caring, etc that I knew I made the right decision when I called her office wanting her as my doctor. Just from me telling her my history, she knew exactly what to do to ensure that I delivered a healthy baby. I had to get a cerclage in place at 20 weeks but because my cervix kept getting thin, Dr. Robinson didnt wait, I had an emergency surgery done for the cerclage at 16 weeks. I was in sooooo much pain from the cerclage and not to mention I was in a car accident the next day after the surgery, that I wanted the cerclage removed. I didnt think I could or would ever get over the pain. Dr. Robinson ensured me that the pain wouldnt last forever and to hold on tight. She was right, the unbearable pain lasted for about 3-4 weeks (I thought I was going to die). My cerclage was removed at 36 weeks and I ended up going to the emergency room early the next morning and was in active labor. I delivered a healthy 6lb 7oz 18in healthy baby boy (36 weeks and 6 days) 2 days after the cerclage was removed. Dr. Robinson wasnt on call during my labor but she took time out of her personal life to come to the hospital to be the one to deliver my baby. He was being stubborn, so eventually she had to leave. But the fact that she came up there for me, made me beyond happy and grateful for ALL she has done for me and my son. She wasnt the one to deliver my son but she did make a detour the next day to stop by to check on me and the baby the next day. I can not THANK her enough for EVERYTHING!!! My son will be 4 months August 8th and each and every day, I thank God for him and while I am thanking God for him not once do I not mention Dr. Robinson. Without God and Dr. Robinson, there wouldnt be a Kiyan J. Hanson!! I wish she could see how big he has gotten. Her and her staff assistance, Keisha, were awesome to me every visit and I was in the office every single week! Only if they could see me with this big baby lol THANK YOU ALL for helping and being there for me! THANK YOU Dr. Robinson, you are truly the BEST doctor I ever had...I wish you could be my doctor forever!! God has truly blessed you and I pray He continue to bless you with the gift and ability to help others!! I am forever grateful for you!! 5 Stars is an under rating for you...I wish I could give you more!!!! Not a day goes by, where I am not thanking God for you!!!!!! Shaletta Hanson

Im very upset with how the staff treated me today. Or the lack of treatment... since they left me in the exam room and basically forgot about me. Its very true when the other ladies/reviewers commented on how horribly unprofessional Dr. Robinsons staff is. The only reason I came back the second time is because Dr. Robinson herself is a very kind, professional doctor that I trusted. Today I sat in an exam room naked in a paper gown for 1 1/2 hours waiting to be seen. My appointment was at 3:30 and I left at 5.... Not only did the assistant never come to take my initial intake information, the nurse practitioner who was supposed to see me, went next door and helped a patient who came in AFTER me. The NP spoke so loudly that I could hear everything that they discussed making me more uncomfortable as I sat there, still naked in a paper gown.... At one point after my urine sample I went back into the exam room waiting for further instruction on what to do next and heard the staff talking about me and teasing me, wondering why I was in the restroom so long(?) I am a grown woman and yet today I felt like I was in middle school surrounded by bullies. This was a rescheduled appointment (the doc office forgot they wouldnt be open that day) so not only did I waste today... I also wasted a day last week as well. My job had to really get creative with the schedule in order to give me those days off and the fact that I still have NOT seen a doctor is embarrassing.

Dr. Robinson is a nice doctor. Her front desk employee was really rude but they just recently replaced her I hope. It seemed like almost every visit there was different staff members. I was happy to see that at first they were very informative and helpful about my pregnancy. However, later on the visits seemed much shorter and she seemed to be in a rush to leave each time. The last visits of my pregnancy werent with her they were with another doctor, so I didnt really build a relationship with her. This was my first pregnancy so, I dont know if the doctor is supposed to be at the hospital with you but she showed up literally right when I was about to give birth and then left. I only saw her again before my discharge and she just said "no sexual intercourse, see you in six weeks, congratulations" and walked out. Maybe she felt weird because my family was in the room, I dont know. Before my six week appointment, I had already told Dr.Kathy I wanted the IUD for my 6-week appointment. When I showed up to my appt. Dr. Kathy said "oh we have to order it, come back in two weeks". So I come back after 2 weeks, take my little baby out in this cold weather, and waste gas just so they can tell me they still havent ordered it and itll be here next week but they dont know what day. Whoever was supposed to order it, is unprofessional and just made them all look bad. I wont be coming back.

First pregnancy..During the visits her and the ENTIRE staff were amazing. The fact that I BARELY had to actually ask questions about what to do, what to eat, what if this...what if that..how do I..etc. Was what I LOVED most about the visits. The nurse and Dr. made sure to provide the most information during each visit, before I got a chance to ask a question, the nurse was already answering them lol. My husband and I wanted to delay the cord clamping and have a natural birth. Robinson was very supportive and told me my delivery will go fast. My water broke, went to the hospital, was told i would be in labor for 13 hours, since its my first time...I went from 1cm-10 in five hours! The Dr. was right, thank God!!! I had to get an episiotomy, thats what hurt the most. THATS it. The fact that she was so honest and gave me so much information about birth, helped me through the delivery. When she was leaving all I could do was say thank you over and over.. I almost wanted to beg her to stay lol..this woman is AMAZING. Please dont hesitate to go see her and the staff.
