Caution!!! Okay, first I have to say that Dr. Torres is great! I cant imagine that how another doctor could do a better job than him. But, be aware of the "blood test" during 3-5 months of pregnancy. They asked us to come to the office for blood tests and they took about 5 or 6 samples(one of the sample is check the gender of the baby, it will be sent to a Lab called "Labcorp", and that is what I am trying to tell you). About 6 months later after that blood tests, my wife received a bill from "labcorp" and the amount was 9 hundreds something, almost 1000 dollars(My wife was covered by BCBS HMO and paying about 100 dollars a month). I thought insurance company and Labcorp could just figure that out, but later we keep received that bill about once a month and I called both Labcorp and my insurance company, Lapcorp said my insurance company wouldnt cover that, BCBS said that is something "extra" and for my own interest any they wont pay for it. So I ended up have to pay for it! (1000 dollar to check the gender!!!) They doctor office didnt mention that MOST INSURANCE COMPANY WONT COVER THIS BLOOD TEST AND TELL YOU THAT THATS OPTIONAL TO SAVE 1000 BUCKS! To check the gender, go get a ultrasound/B Scan for much much cheaper! I am not saying there may be something between them under the table, but you have your opinion. I am writing this to you because I really feel uncomfortable paying 100 bucks for insurance every month and being charged 1000 bucks without notices in front and it is for something that you never asked for, plus you could do in much cheaper way! 1000 dollars could do a lot of things for you and your family instead of contributing to these greedy bastards. I wish this review helps, and forgive my English.

First off, Dr. Torres is amazing. He is thorough, patient and takes the time to understand your medical history. I felt that he had wonderful bedside manner and he took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns and help address them. The only negative I see with the office, is the front desk area could use a little work. When checking out, it was somewhat time consuming and also when I called to obtain results for my blood work, I was on hold for a very, very long time. Overall, I was pleased with my visit and I plan on returning because Dr. Torres is such a great doctor!

For three days I tried setting up an appointment with Dr. Torres because I was referred to him. Well, saying the staff is not helpful is an understament. They wanted me to go into the office to fill out a questionnaire. Finally decided to fax it to me and I faxed it back a good 7 times to two different numbers. 1 nurse kept telling me she wasnt receiving anything at all and the other kept telling me that the paper was blank. Soooooo ummm what is it? Anyways, I decided to go somewhere else. First impressions are important sometimes.

He is a great doctor, but I didnt like that fact that they charge a consultation fee just for a nurse to tell you the results. I have gone to other doctors and they just give me my test results at no extra charge.
