He spent less than 2 minutes with me. The 1st minute was his wanting to know who referred me to him I told him the name of my PCP then he wanted to know if I brought the referral paper with me I told him I gave it to his reception he said good ask if I was allergic to any medicines I said not that I knew of he put on gloves got a hyperdermetric needle stuck it in some medicine then stuck the needle in my cysts then he disposed of the needle and gloves then he started for the door as he went out he said the swelling should go down in a month or 6 weeks the nurse started gathering her stuff up and I ask if he was coming back she said no hes through with you. I was sent to him to remove a cysts now 5 weeks later its hard as a rock and hurts badly. I did not like my visit to his office. I dont want to ever see him again I will not recommend him to anyone.

I had HIGH hopes about this dr. His staff was enthusiastic about him. And he has great educational credentials! Sadly, he performed the most perfunctory screening exam (annual skin exam for cancer)...even worse - he was teaching a resident!!! :( He was not rude, but sure not personable. The front staff tried to bill me for a much larger deductible amount than my HMO specialist copay and I had to call my ins co to get this clarified BEFORE I could have my appt. :/ The nurse in the visit was great! But she was the ONLY one I could say this about. I am used to my Austin derm dr who actually LOOKS at my body, scalp, etc, and doesnt just ask if I have a problem there. Sigh.

Dr Tyring really disappointed me and my wife. After being kept waiting for over an hour in the examination room, we asked when we were to be seen. They replied that the doctor should have already seen us. The doctor eventually saw my wife for less than two minutes. He never examined her skin, never even got near her, and simply gave her a coupon for some foam and said that the skin issue was probably the same as the one from 8 months ago. VERY disappointed, and will be looking for a different dermatoligist.

Great Doctor....this Doc has published more medical publications that any other doctor I know. I have been going to Dr Tyring for over 5 years for my routine dermatology checks- i would not go to anyone else. My husband goes to Dr. Tyring for all of his Derma needs. Yes, hes not the most conversational dude...but I would much rather have incredibly deep knowledge Doctor like Dr Tyring. PERIOD. Dr Tyring has been practicing for many many years...huge deep knowledge of this line of profession.
