VPA is worse than incompetent. A home care agency had suggested the physicians at the Irving, TX location for my elderly in-laws. They both liked the idea of having a physician come to them instead of having to fight the Dallas traffic. They came for a visit, ordered lots of lab tests and chest x-rays. However when it came to calling them on Memorial Day to seek advice for my 85 yr old father in-law, who has advanced Parkinsons, suddenly my in-laws were not considered their patients! Sounds like a "Medicare Ponzy scheme" to me. In a city this large, I suppose if they are "dipping into" the Medicare funds for initial (and only one visit) house calls and then fail to respond later when there is an urgent need, they are making some nice cash from the taxpayers. As far as assistance on a holiday---FORGET IT ! Do not waste your time.

I have dealt with these physicians and office staff/nurses etc. on a professional level and I would not recommend anyone use them for anything esp. as a medical provider. I work in the medical industry and had many patients complain about the treatment they received there and ended up finding another provider. They refuse to do what is needed in order for their patients to get the medical equipment their patients need. Very unprofessional! Patients beware!
