Dr. Ansari is a very personable person, however, his office manager refuses to order meds from the mail order company where my insurance policy told I must order. When calling to discuss it with the office, she told me that she would order where the doctor told her to order them and that I had nothing to say about it during a long argument; that was on a Monday. The following day the office called me to remind me of a visit scheduled on Wednesday. I went for that visit, only to have the receptionist call the office manager to the window. She told me that I owed $40ish dollars from the previous visit and they would not see me. I reminded her that it was not even a month yet and I hadnt seen an invoice, however, I would pay it right now. She got loud, totally embarrassing me and sent me away. Now today, I get a call from a collection agency telling me that I now owe much more money and would be turned over to the credit bureau. What a wonderful person to work with.

I went for a complimentary (insurance covered) exam for a first visit. I knew my insurance covered those exams, but they collected $125 anyway. I had to call my insurance several times (to clarify) and Internal Associates office to get my money refunded. Maye (in accounting) never agreed to a refund until I had the insurance representative on the phone with me. The insurance rep proved the way she billed multiple line items was incorrect. I had to haggle with them about everything billed because Dr. Bigdeli charged for things I didnt even have done. After asking for my medical report, came to find, some services they were trying to bill me for were not even rendered. I got my check six months after the visit, mostly because I did not have time to call and haggle at first. I would never go back after this.

My experience has been absolutely wonderful!...Oh, you may have to wait, but only because he cares about everyone equally and will take as much time with YOU as he does with THEM. He cares about your finances (or lack of them, too), and yes, sometimes hes slow about getting things done, but I just SO didnt even care...he was KIND to me, he didnt make me feel like he was hiding anything from me...he HELPED me at a time when I was in very great distress and even made me laugh! The office staff is pleasant too. OK, a couple things...the lobby is bare bones furniture, but there is a TV and an aquarium to look at...and the magazines...blecch and borrrrrring, so bring something of your own to read!
