*Excuse the long post, but I think its very beneficial to include my experience from beginning to end* My experience was the worst. Im only here for a summer internship and ended up having a bad ear infection. After unsuccessful results with the first urgent care facility with POOR reviews, I researched and found EXCELLENT reviews on Concentra Urgent Care. Based on the positive reviews I saw, I was very confident to go to them, so I could finally get rid of this aching pain after a week of suffering. Ha! I guess you cant just go by good reviews anymore! Some of the staff seemed to be inexperienced as if I knew more about what was wrong than they did (Im a business major). Ive had ear infections before, and I know the difference between an ear infection and a simple buildup in wax. Although the lobby staff were very friendly, the "20 minute" wait turned into an hour wait and another hour for them to actually start the process. The only thing the guy did was an irrigation on my right ear for less than two minutes with peroxide -___-. Without doing anything else, he brought another doctor in and said they couldnt do anything else. Really? This is the first time Ive ever known an urgent care facility to say they couldnt do anything else, let alone not be able to flush an ear. I wasted $40 for them to do a half-*** job procedure I could have done at home myself instead of actually trying to determine the cause and take level 6/10 pain I had into consideration. In addition, they left me in the room for about 15 minutes without even telling me that they were done! Although he was nice enough to refer me to another specialist, I felt as if they could have done more than what they did. Im not the type of person to post reviews that could negatively impact anyone, but based on my experience and for the sake of anyone whos not familiar with this area, I would NOT recommend Concentra Urgent Care..

I had a 10:00 AM appointment for physical exam. Giving that its not my primary healthcare clinic as I was referred to them, I had no choice but to disregard the previous reviews made by other patients regarding the wait time. I arrived at 9:50 with completed health questionnaire forms and ready to go. 35 minutes later, the receptionist called me to verify some of the forms. They didnt have the authorization and had to call the clinic that referred me. I was asked to sit and they were going to call me again. I DID NOT SEE ANYONE FOR 2 and a half hours. Its now 12:20 PM. Finally, I was called for the vitals and other stuff. I left there at 13:40 with sever headache as they did not draw the blood until after I saw the physician. Terrible experience and I certainly wont come here again.

Possibly the worst urgent care facility I have been to. Only reason I was here was to accompany someone at the last minute who needed help and because my son was being too loud after waiting for an hour to be seen felt like they were kicking me and my kids out. Maybe if there was a better and faster service kids wouldnt be irritated waiting around for their parens to get checked. Only 1 nice lady jn the front who always had a smile on her face. Other than that If I could give it 0 stars I would.

Concentra Urgent Care - Plano, 1300 N Central Expy, Plano, TX. I arrived shortly after this location openned at 8am for a work place physical. I had all my paperwork filled out and turned it in at the front desk. It was almost 10 am before I was taken back to a room to wait some more. It was 1130 before I was finished. There were others who arrived after I did, who were seen and left before I got in. Terrible location, very slow, very inefficient, no one seemed to care.

Following a DOT that my spouse gets there EVERY TIME. As a company preference. They have to receive data from the breathing office EVERY TIME to sign off on physical. They NEVER get it??! Has taken up to 3 times? By the time we keep sending them, with the confirmations it has taken a week! Im writing because we called to confirm while standing at the fax. TODAY they talk like we dont know what were doing? On the way to try again!

The staff is friendly, but each time I visit it takes 3-4 hours. Im here for a follow-up appointment today, no paperwork to complete. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment and was not called back to the room until 30 min after my appt time. Now it is 1 hour past my appt time and I am still waiting for the doctor to come in. If you have to come here, clear your calendar then arrive prepared with a book and snacks.

Excellent: I cut my hand at work, and required stitches. Concentra is around the corner, so I went there to have them fix me up. The female Dr. was friendly and gentle. The male nurse was also very friendly, and offered me water and a snack while the Dr. was giving me shots to help numb the area. The whole experience was quick, caring, and I would recommend them to anyone with minor trauma.

The front desk person Cynthia is efficient and friendly. Thats where the acceptable part ends! This is my 2nd time here for appointments mandated ny my company. 1st time, 3hrs of my time lost. Now Im here for a follow-up and its going to be at least an hour wait before I even get to a room! WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING AN APPOINTMENT? ? I will never come back here...for any reason.

Was a little worried before hand, because they were one of the few places who accepted my cut-rate insurance plan. But I received high quality treatment, and all the staff were completely friendly. There wasnt much of a wait, but I expect there might be if it were during busier hours. No complaints whatsoever, couldnt have asked for much more from my visit.

Seriously the worst place I have ever been in my life waited 4 hours!! And I never saw and doctor and the 2 other people I saw were rude as hell to me. The people at the front desk have no patience whatsoever and no people skills. Zero stars is what yall deserve. Im really sick and its really messed up that you would treat sick people that way.

It took 3 hours to complete a physical here. I understand the wait when you arrive, but being placed in a room and being told 20 minutes and waiting over an hour? The doctor was very helpful, but they are understaffed. Even when I completed my physical.. finally.. I had to wait 30 minutes to check out? I would never come back here

Went in after an accident at work. The staff was very responsive and the doctor that treated me was very friendly and helpful. Went back for a fallow up visit a week later and i got the same response. Nice facility, equipped with coffee and snacks and a small childrens play area in the waiting room, friendly and helpful staff.

My wife had a physical exam for a job and we were there for over 2 hours just for a physical and there was only 3 people ahead of us. Once inside and in the room another 30-45 minute wait!!! Staff not too helpful or excited for there job!! Overall will not go back to this location as the staff does not take there jobs serious.
