My mother had a horrible experience as a Spanish speaking client. The Spanish speaking staff was told that the reason why she as a patient had not been able to go annually was because she was unaware that someone on the staff spoke Spanish. After doing the prep for the eye exam she was left in the room with the Doctor without anyone to translate for the eye exam. She tried to communicate with the Doctor that she didnt understand and that she needed translation only for the Doctor to continue with the eye exam. It finally got to the point that my mother, the patient, got up and came to the waiting room and asked me to translate. The staff as well as the dr need to understand what it is to have clients that are Spanish speaking. Very disappointed

Best place Ive ever been. When i have an appointment it never takes more than 15 minutes to get all the preliminary test done and get started with the doctor. Ive never gotten anything wrong from them either. When i call they answer. When i order glasses they get lenses made, put in, and ready for pickup in less than a month (other places Ive been usually take over a month).

Had our first experience with Dr. Brent 7 years ago. Rather than wasting time he sent our son directly to a opthamologist and potentially saved his life. Just recently, I went to get my first set of contacts. Being a totally beginner, not only was Dr. Brent great and informative; his staff has been absolutely awesome.

Very unprofessional staff!! The office staff is rude, dismissive, and are constantly making mistakes and blaming the customer. I came to my sense and went to another local optometrist to fix the problems that were caused by Dr. Schmidlaps office. This kind of behavior should not be allowed. BEWARE!

Love them! In my opinion a great office starts with a great staff, and they are super-friendly, knowledgeable, and down to earth. The doctor is reassuring for the littler guys and communicates with them well. Couldnt be happier with our optometrist!

Dr Brent Schmidlap is WONDERFUL! My four year old son had a small piece of rust in his eye and Dr Schmidlap was so kind and gentle while he removed it. We have returned for the last three year for our regular eye appointments.

I highly recommend Dr. Shmidlap and his staff. They are professional experts who are courteous and kind to their patients. They also carry wonderful glasses brands and do a great job helping patients choose frames.
