Dr. Hoag is absolutely fantastic. I cannot recommend her enough. Recently we found cancer on one of my pups, discovered Dr. Hoag, and immediately knew she would be our vet. Her bedside manner is phenomenal: she gave us honest expectations while encouraging and supporting us during a very difficult time. Though we were so upset and worried after the initial diagnosis, Dr. Hoag exudes a calm confidence that almost immediately eased our fears. Dr. Hoag ended up performing the tumor removal surgery, and my sweet girl made a full recovery. After surgery, Dr. Hoag followed up with me multiple times and made sure everything was healing well and she was feeling ok. Because of her surgical skills, our girl has been cancer free for months and we couldnt be more pleased with our experience.

This animal hospital is a few blocks from my house, I decided to give them a chance a few months ago as my long time vet was in Garland and always too busy, Im so happy I found them. I have met both of the doctors now and both are very friendly and helpful. Skeeter my min pin was old and very sick and I knew going in I needed to let him go to a better place. The entire staff treated me with such kindness and compassion. There are not enough words to convey how grateful I am for all the support during such a difficult time. This is my new place for animal care.

This has been over a year ago, they might have new vets by now but I took my dog in for a bad stomach problem, he was in pain and trying to eat socks and licking everything. They xrayed him and kept him over night sent him home after 600$ the next day with a new limp. Turns out my dog had a bout of pancreatitis and they didnt even do the blood work to see if he had it. A 40 dollar test would have told them. So my dog suffered until I found a good vet that diagnosed him. If an old dog comes in with stomach issues that should be the first test they do!

Friendly & knowledgeable staff! When most vets charge $35 +/- for a heartworm test that only tests for heartworms, LGAH uses a 4DX heartworm test that screens for six vector-borne diseases for the same price!! Dr. Hoag very patiently took the time to explain what each of the diseases were and how they can effect your pet. As it turned out, my puppy tested positive for Ehrlichia. After 6 weeks of antibiotics, my puppy was back to normal, and its all thanks to Dr. Hoag and the wonderful staff!

This clinic is awesome. I followed Dr. Hoag from a previous clinic, she is very sweet and very good with my furry kiddos. Also the clinic is beautiful and in a very quiet neighborhood. I am so happy to have found a place I trust and would recommend them to anybody.

I took my puppy the other day and all I can say is AMAZING STAFF!!! Dr.Rachel Dee and Rachel the receptionist,all made our visit 100% worth it. Very thorough diagnosis. Eased our minds completely..I strongly recommended taking your pet here!!

Great clinic! The moment I pulled up in the parking lot I was impressed. The building is nice, the girl at the desk was friendly and the vet, Dr. Hoag is very kind. Im glad I found them and I will be telling all my friends about this vet.
