I cant believe the treatment I received from this doctor. I went in for one reason- was told he doesnt help with that. Youre a supposedly a primary care doctor, Im not stupid. This guy doesnt even know his medications. He confused Soma with Robaxin. HA! I felt like the doctor, not once did he make eye contact with me, he just interrupted and stared at his computer. He prescribed me a $399 inhaler that I dont even use and is not cover by insurance (which i told this guy) then tells me there is no generic asthma inhaler which is NOT true. Albuteral dummy. Guess hes just another one getting payed by the drug companies. This guy is a joke. If he treats other patients good like men then awesome, but for me as a woman- nope, he was one of the worse. I have chronic conditions- Ive seen over 50 doctors in 15 years! I will make sure my that what happened to me and how he treated me will be well aware of. No one should be treated like this. He wouldnt refill a medication i was tampering off of and didnt write a refill for the other. Complete moron. Im so relieved I found an amazing doctor and never went back to this guy. My new doctor was appalled by the treatment this guy gave me. My new doctor is amazing, caring, and so educated. Dr Shaw either quit or go back for training!

One of the worst physicians and office staff that I have ever experienced. The front desk girl (Jessica, I think), was so rude. As I waited to see the doctor she was chatting and laughing with another girl while the phones were ringing and other work needed to be done. The answering service called and she has such a loud voice that she was heard saying, "That women can wait and I will just get back to her later, I am swamped". It was horrible to think that this is how they treat their patients. NO MANNERS! The physician was worse! Wait was long, then once in he kept going in and out to the other patients he had in the office. SAW HIM FOR EXACTLY 13 MINUTES AND THE BILL WAS OUTRAGEOUS! Chaotic office. They had my information incorrect on the chart and left information out. HURIED THROUGH THE EXAM, DID NOT LISTEN ...IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I am still in pain and he said it would dissipate with time..

It is customary for the family doctor to sign the death certificate when a patient dies at home. My mother in law knew for 1.5 WEEKS that she had cancer. We had not needed to see Dr Shaw yet and he wasnt aware of her cancer. When she died at home it was a nightmare to get a doctor to sign. Her oncologist had seen her one time. Dr. Shaw had seen her at least every 6 months for 20-30 + years. He refused to sign the death certificate. Thankfully her oncologist (who had only signed 2 in his career, which shows they arent generally the one to sign) was a good man and took care of it. There was no reason why we should have had to fight for something like these in times like these. I would definitely rethink choosing him as a doctor.

They hurry you through everything. I felt like I was being rushed the whole time. He didnt order the testing I asked for, and when I reminded the nurse, he seemed irritated. In addition, the fat nurse really didnt seem like she was capable of being confidential. She kept closing the door and saying stuff under her breath. Then when she reminded Dr. Shaw of the testing I wanted and he seemed irritated, she said (more than once) "I warned you."

Having been seeing Dr Shaw since 1981. He saw my three sons through all their childhood illnesses. Today still use him as our family physician. I have always received professional care from Dr Shaw without added cost or unnecessary procedures. Grateful for his services.

I have been under Dr. Shaws care for approx., 16 years and in all that time I have never had better care and attention. Both Dr. Shaw and his staff are caring, accurate in the care they have provided. Kudos to all of you. Keep doing your excellent work. God bless you all.
