I chose Dr. Garcia because he was on my insurance list and my son would be seen as an emergency patient that day because he looked like he had a stye and it was very painful. The office is basically a first come, first serve basis. I didnt research the office because it sounded great at the time of urgency. I took my son to this office a few times for the same eye problem. Dr. Garcia has placed him on different antibiotics, but the problem remains the same. At the last appt. I did mention an eye specialist and he said that he would refer him out if problem persists. Its been months now and problem persists, so I decided to call today and ask if the referral can be faxed to me. The woman that answered at the office didnt identify herself and said, "thats not how it works here" and couldnt fax it bc Dr. Garcia needs to see him...again! I asked her why if the problem is the same and Dr. Garcia had already determined what to do next since already had all the information he needed and all I needed was the referral. There was silence so I then continued to ask if all they wanted to do was see him to collect copay, which meant charging me for the referral. I continued to tell her, during the silence, that many offices usually fax information to eliminate the patient having to go in and wasting time on both ends, unless all they want is the money. She didnt know what to say and told me to talk to Dr. Garcia and put me on hold without even waiting for me to respond. Another woman answered and asked how she could help me and then I asked her if she was Dr. Garcia because that was who I was holding for. She said no and asked my sons name. I asked why she needed his name if I hadnt even received an answer on the process of referral. I told her all I wanted to do was ask a simple question on how the process at that office worked for a referral and then I would determine what to do next. She repeatedly kept asking what my sons name was, like an annoying 3 yr. old that obviously didnt comprehend. I kept asking what her name was because she clearly didnt understand what I was trying to ask and demanded to speak to the manager or the Dr. I asked if she was the manager and she again kept asking..."whats your sons name?" She was like an clueless child and again asked if she was the manager and asked if I had to go in person to speak to the manager or the Dr. about her. By then I was clearly annoyed and she finally UNDERSTOOD that this wasnt a game and stated that her name was FRANCIS. She put me on hold without saying a word. Finally Dr. Garcia got on the phone, as he identified himself was loud and rude and said that he takes care of styes there. I told him he didnt know what I wanted to ask and he kept talking over me as I did the same and made him understand that all I wanted to do was ask a simple question about the referral process and maybe he could help me get an answer. Dr. Garcia said he would give me time for a one min. speech and to hurry up because he was tired and hungry. I told him he was extremely rude and very unprofessional and then he said ok and for me to ask him the question. I told him to forget it because I didnt want my son to be seen by a tired, hungry, unprofessional Dr. anymore and then hung up on him! Now I know why his staff acts the way they do because he clearly sets the example. If hes so tired, he needs to retire! I cant believe he treats his patients like this because we are the ones that pay his bills! I should have known when I arrived that I was getting what I pay for. The outside reflects the inside, which is crappy! Dr. Garcia and his staff need to be taught how a real professional office functions. I cant believe a Dr. could be so ignorant about his own behavior. He may be "down to earth" as some people state on their reviews, but there are boundaries when it comes to remaining professional. I would have given no stars, but I was forced to give a review. More people need to do these reviews to cut down on his paycheck and show him what hungry really feels like!

Dr is great. His staff have been friendly and accommodating as well. In one particular instance I needed an early morning lab test. I had just started a new job and couldnt be late so a couple of them came in at 7:30 to conduct my lab work. They know Im a baby with bloodwork (yes...I panic) yet they made me feel at ease. I thought I was going to pass out (yes...big baby) and they asked me if I wanted to lie down for a few. Fortunately I didnt. I had a primary physician for almost 20 years; my wife has known Dr Garcia for years and recommended him. Im glad I took her advice. I know his office is constantly busy; that tells you how good they are. The wait is never long. Ill always come back to Dr Garcia and his staff. Ive never had lab work done (bloodwork) where I didnt feel the needle or the pain. I even stopped by once after hours, knocked on the door and Dr Garcia spoke to me for a few. He didnt have to open the door because his office was already closed. At that time I needed some advice and he listened to me with an open heart and helped me understand my personal health situation. Not many Drs (or maybe none) would do this for their patients. I continuously refer this office to my friends. Thanks Dr Garcia and staff.

This doctor is pathetic. I went to him for severe abdominal pains 5 weeks after having unprotected sex with a stranger. He checked my liver and saw that it was enlarged. I was extremely concerned that Id contracted Hepatitis, and he proceeded to call me a f*** up, and that I was too weak to handle normal "adult growing pains" (Im 40 by the way). He even told me that my enlarged liver was probably just "normal"...All i wanted was for him to take my concerns seriously, and he called me a f*** up. What kind of idiot doctor would say this??? Long story short, I had Hepatitis B, and thankfully my body cleared the virus...but no thanks to this idiot "Edmundo". Edmundo is a salesman. A con man. He runs his office to make money and nothing more. Hes an idiot...plain and simple, and knows nothing about anything except for the common cold or minor cuts and bruises. Hopefully he loses his license to practice soon and goes to prison and gets a** raped by big bubba! This doctor is the reason why i think all doctors are nothing more than overpaid car mechanics.

This Dr was nice when I went to clinic for a problem, but as soon as I got hit with the bill. I called the clinic stating why i got billed if my insurance covers this provider. So I did research and called my healthcare and they told me , I got billed bc the clinic coded me wrong(cosmetic surgery) when I had a infected cyst. Called DR clinic he got on the phone and started rambling away, being rude, and said if I cant pay my bill dont bother being a patient of his, and hung up the phone! Sad thing was I was not upset just wanted to understand why like any other HUMAN being, and for him to say that is unprofessional.(anybody would call if they got a 200 dollar bill and provider is in network!!) NEXT DR PLEASE!
