Unfortunately, I cannot write a good review. I have had the worse experience with this office. The front desk clerks are completely ridiculous, the services that they have shown me is appalling. I have waited 3 weeks for documentation for my work. I have called so many times I have lost account. Every time and I mean every time, I am told “Will check the status and call you back” I have yet in 3 weeks to receive a call back. Now it’s to the point to when I call the clerks are so rude they don’t say anything they just blind transfer me to another voice mail, in which I have left voice messages and still not response. At one point when the clerk blind transfer me to a voice mail, the ladies at the front desk, decided to laugh about it and my being upset with one another, not realizing I could HEAR them! Unacceptable customer services, this office has no problems in taking my money for my visit as well as my money for the paper work to be completed. I called again yesterday and spoke to a Brandy, when I told her how I have been treated; she then showed no empathy and basically blew me off and tried to transfer me again. I called back and insisted not to be transferred, Brandy then advice that she would have to wait again for the Dr, to come out of a room and PROMISED once again I would get a call back by the end of business day! Well here we are the next day and once again NO calls what so ever. And yet I am supposed to put my health I this office care??? Seriously! The front desk Ladies shows no respect if anything complete disrespect to me. Shame on them and the way they have treated me. I can only hope they do not treat the elderly this way. I came from a small Dr. Office on the West side of town, and I was shown more kindness and respect, then this office knows what to do with. I sincerely hope the front office gets the training they so desperately need or CLEAN HOUSE! Completely and utterly disappointing. Needless to say I will be looking for a new Primary care. AGAIN SHAME ON YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Typical bare bones medical business. Every time we visit there are new front office staff. Everyone is learning their jobs and we get to suffer for their mistakes. Try calling for some information or help and you are on hold for ever, then you have to call back just to be put on hold again. Be prepared to do their work for them. We went to get labs done after fasting all night and the office had not sent the lab order. We called and were put on hold, five times. Almost an hour later after giving them the same information five times they promised to fax the order. So, something that should have been completely taken care of took us two hours and five phone calls to get done, bad professionalism but good business... Hire idiots for nothing and you get to pocket the difference as profit. McDonalds has better trained people. UPDATE: Had an appointment for labs, showed up and they had no record of it (another new hire). The PA who ordered the labs isnt here anymore, thats two changes in six months. The physical I had an appointment for next week was not scheduled with anybody, had to schedule it again while waiting for blood to be drawn. Hope they do a better job than last time, it took two weeks for the bruises to go away and they forgot to the B Vitamin analysis that was ordered. We need to find a professional operation.

READ THIS 0 STARS.Very unprofessional & uncaring practice. nothing but a Medicare processing center mainly processing very little care.Want to spend 1 1/4 hr on phone to make appt....this is the place to go, it is always that way. staff is totally incompetent. Sent me to radiologist for bone scan to detect CANCER. Lab sent her report that day, took numerous phone calls finally able to get results if I had CANCER 3 days later only because I said if I didnt get results that day I would be in her office next day. Was told dr not in office/ doesnt see patients Thurs/ is in meeting.Nurse (?) didnt know NM Bones Scan meant Nuclear Medicine, thought that meant normal. Have Medicare & Suppl covered 100%, charged me stating per Medicare that was what was due. They filed Medicare & supplement not disclosing $ collected from me. 2 months later still trying to get $ from Marcos. Keep saying check is going to be issued, really, how long does it take to cut a refund check. DR MARCOS YOUR OFFICE STAFF & PROCEDURES ARE A REFLECTION ON YOU!

I like that medical staff and doctors, I had been a patient here for over a year. However, upon getting into nursing school I needed my immunizations verified by my physician. This was the sole purpose of my office visit. At the conclusion of my visit I was rudely informed by the desk girl Brandi, that I had to pay $25 dollars just to have the doctor sign off on something. I told her that I was never informed of this cost, she began to get belligerent, and stated that she had indeed informed me. Just like she had "informed" me that all the immunizations that I needed they could provide and when I showed up for my appointment they in fact only had HALF of them. Upon telling her this she then began to hold MY personal paperwork that I had brought in to be signed for ransom, telling me I couldnt have it until I paid for the $25 signature. I will NEVER go back and have NEVER been treated with so little humane civility in my entire life. It is a shame because the other staff and doctors are pleasant and do a thorough job.

Like many of the other reviews state, my experience has been one of disinterest by the Doctor and extensive waiting time. Worse, she holds refills on your prescriptions hostage to force an unnecessary office visit, especially if you are a Medicare patient. There seems to be more interest in practice income than in patient care. One of the PAs she had during the summer was so incredibly inept; fortunately, is now gone. If you are generally healthy, do not mind long wait times to see the doctor or dont mind seeing a PA instead, and dont require a lot of information about what took you to the office in the first place, youll not mind coming here. Unfortunately, if you are on Medicare youll experience a run-around, unnecessary requirements for appointments and testings, and not have much choice about the matter because so very few primary care physicians on the far North side are accepting new Medicare patients. A tragedy in medicine, to be sure.

Marcos Medical Clinic (Dr. Marcos) was recommended to me by another doctor I trust and respect. It is not easy to find a good family practice doctor where you love both the doctor and the staff. The staff is friendly and efficient; they treat me with respect and kindness. Dr. Marcos is a wonderful doctor. I am particularly impressed with the thoroughness of the care I receive. In addition to taking care of any illness & refilling prescriptions, Dr. Marcos ensures I am up to date on all my well-care. If I have seen a specialist, she reviews those records as well. It is reassuring to have everything in one place for holistic care. The doctor spends time with me, really listens to what I say, and she remembers me! So if I have to wait a bit for my appointment, it is worth it. No, I do not dread going to the doctor, and I hope I never have to change doctors again! Have you gotten your flu shot? I have!
