At the top of my list for the worst medical provider ever, in my experiences. My first appointment with her was ok. She was pleasant enough but not great. Prescribed pills and I left. It was a 5 minute appointment, after waiting for an hour. After I realized that the prescription wasnt helping me, I made another appointment. Once again, I waited for exactly 1 hour. She came into the room and I could tell she was annoyed I was there. I had explained my symptoms/issues several times, but she didnt seem to listen or care. I had asked her to provide a certain service but she snapped at me that "its not that easy!" Her attitude was so superior that I felt compelled to tell her that. I also felt she was giving me this awful look like I was a disgusting bug that needs to be squished. After I told her that her bedside manner needs improvement, she didnt like it one bit and instead of trying to find a solution, I was told she will not treat me any longer, and literally threw me out of the room. I have never been treated this horribly at a doctors office. I truly feel she should not see any patients. Not only because I question her credentials, but also because she has no clue how to deal with patients. Very disappointing and sad, considering how expensive health care is. As a patient and a human being, I want to be treated with respect, thats not too much to ask.

My wife was scheduled with Dr. Haverkorn, of Urology San Antonio, on 3/26/14. Dr. Haverkorn was delayed and we needed to reschedule with her colleague, Dr. Hakim, on 3/28/14. Normally this wouldnt warrant an excellent review but Dr. Haverkorn was delayed for several hours because there was an emergency at another location that involved a life-threatening situation, a person was bleeding to death. Dr. Haverkorn treated that person and saved their life. big KUDOS to her! Surgery at the Pasteur Plaza Surgery Center in San Antonio, TX today went very well and Dr. Hakim is not only an excellent surgeon, he also cares deeply about his patients and his co-workers. I will happily recommend Urology San Antonio, Dr. Hakim, Dr. Haverkorn and the Pasteur Plaza Surgery Center to anyone who needs this type of medical care. It has become obvious to me now that they all truly do “care”!

If you want a doctor that does not value your time, then this is the doc for you. After waiting over 2 hours at my first appointment and over an hour at my next, I left without being seen. They are unapologetic, they fail to keep patients informed of the cruel and unusually long wait times, and the staff borders on rude with their complete and total indifference. And the amount of time I spent with the doc is certainly discordant with the ridiculously long wait times. Sadly, its sort of my fault for giving this clinic a second chance. Ill not be back and Ill be picking up copies of my records asap.

I love my experience I have had thus far with Dr. Haverkorn, she has taken care of me and listened to every need I have had. I havent needed to go back because my symptoms have subsided for now, which is great because I was in pain almost every day. She really does take her time to listen, thank you!
