My family and I have been coming to Rigsby Veterinary clinic when Dr. Burchers was the veterinary. Dr. Luke Proctor and Dr. Sheryl Proctor are the only 2 doctors that see my 2- senior dogs. They are both excellent Doctors but if the staff doesnt improve I am sorry to say I have no problems asking for copies of my dogs records and going elsewhere. The suggestion I do have is a better office manager, pleasant receptionists and more educated technicians.... At one point they had a very pleasant clinic manager by the name of Sarah L... She always acknowledged me by my last name, ( the 2 front desk employees never can remember my name nor my pets even if I had just been there the day before . Better yet I dont even get acknowledged when walking in to the clinic.. ) was very people friendly and compassionate employee. Whenever checking in for an appt with Sarah or one of her receptionist I NEVER had to repeat what my visit at the office was for that day... These 2 girls that they have now are just flat out ignorant. They keep each other humored with none related work conversions instead of checking up with the clients in the waiting room...God forgive you call up to the client because you will be left and sometimes even forgot on hold. I can’t even count the many times this has happen to me. Now on the other hand there is 2 (and I mean only 2 ) technicians ( Kristy and Emily ) that are very thorough and i always make sure it only one of them that see my 2 dogs. Over all I can only say good things about the Doctors and the 2 technicians... I do hope that Dr. Proctor does read this and replaces some of his staff like he has been doing to his clinic.

Been a great vet clinic untill today. We took our female there to get fixed which is something that should be a "routine" surgery. Prior to the surgery they told us our dog couldnt eat past 10pm the night before surgery which is fine because our dogs food gets put up around 8pm every night for potty reasons. With any surgery that requires people or animals to be put under food is a big no no before surgery. Anyways after surgery my wife went and picked up our dog and the vets there tried to blame us for feeding our dog before the surgery. They said that she threw up 2 cups of whole dog food. How the hell was the dog food still whole after 12 plus hours of her not eating? Some one there fed our dog and tried to cover it up and blame it on us. Our baby girl could have died because of this. Not only did they lie but that tried to blame this on us. I will still go there for dog meds but never will i take any of my dogs there for surgery. Somebody screwed up ( human error I get that) and couldnt even take blame for it.

Words cant describe how pleasant my visit was. I scheduled a appointment and Mrs. Rachel had me a appointment a week later (they were booked) not only did they nurture my lovely cat but it was only 75$! For rabies and nurture and a flea shot? Can you honestly beat that? I would 100% recommend this for anyone who is looking for quick and reliable pet care. I dropped him off at 7:50 and picked him up at 3. And another plus is that they dont try and swindle you into getting things you dont need, witch is awesome. Polite staff as well. Answered every time I called, Even to check up on him. You do need a cone after nurturing or spaying you animal. Just ask. 10/10 will go back

Dr. Proctor is so amazing with my pets. My poor pups have several health issues and he has always taken such great care of them and he makes a point to reach out to other vets and researchers in veterinary medicine to talk about treatment options. Always super friendly and will take you in right away in an emergency. Very very reasonably priced, much cheaper than other vets. Calling to make an appointment is always a good idea because they stay pretty busy. My family has been going to Rigsby for 25 years and the service has always been great and reasonably priced. Staff is very caring and compassionate.

my name is Robert.and Dr. Proctor has taken care of my dogs for years.i found him at dodds vet clinic.he did great work there.but ,that clinic was charging way to high.But, now that he runs Rigsby veterinary clinic.he has made bring your pet to the vet very affordable.what i like is you can ask him anything and his prices are great.Oh one more thing .I have always given my dogs science diet or Eukanuba. here they sale Science diet.and at a very good price.i do not have to drive to pet smart anymore.thank Dr Proctor. check it out...this place works for us.

So far, unimpressed with office staff. They charge to call in prescriptions so the pharmacy faxed an order to them for my dogs phenobarbitol.Then called to tell me he couldnt have his medication because his last name was different from mine. I fixed that. He still doesnt have medication (day 3) and has had 2 seizures. After the test for levels (85.00) and office call (36.00), new pet patient fee (55.00) and (5.00) fee to call in my dogs pills that he STILL doesnt have, its a mystery how she keeps her job! Beware, this place is pricey and inefficient.

I am a proud owner of 7 dachshunds and a Rottie. All of my pets have and will only be seen by Dr. Proctor. I also run a rescue group which are all patients of Dr Proctor. I am very impressed with with his staff. Dr. Proctor runs a very good clinic and staff members are very pleasant and it impresses me every time I go in to the office. I dont ever see myself, my pets and rescues going to be seen else where. If your looking to or are in need of a vet clinic I highly recommend Rigsby Vet Clinic.

My dog needed to be seen for a fecal test due to worms in stool. They were able to give me same day appt. ( something I couldnt find anywhere else) plus VERY reasonable pricing. We recently adopted our 1st puppy and it was mine and my familys first time visiting a vet. Their staff made it as easy and enjoyable as possible. Thank you to all the staff that helped us today. Will definitely recommend!!!!

We are travelling thru San Antonio when our Beagle Lexi got very sick. 9 month old with no energy, diarrhea and all hunched up in pain. They worked us into their busy schedule and checked her out. 24 hours later we had a healthy baby. Very thankful to the Dr and all the folks there and thot the costs were very reasonable.

I went here to take my dog in for a check up she had a tumor, they showed me the pricing for everything and were very friendly. Explained how the surgery will go and the after affects. Pricing was very reasonable and service is very good. Id like to thank the staff and the Doctor for there assistance.

Charge for every little service such as having to call in a prescription. Then would not fill because patient last name was different. Even the pharmacy said that was dumb. Was not impressed at all by them and was then worst choice in vets and we have only have 3 vets in our dogs lifetime.
