Took it in the shorts - in more ways than one. They promised a call the week before the procedure with information relative to the cost of the procedure after accounting for insurance. Call never came and was told it would be $800 at the walk up window the day of the procedure. Take it or leave it. Lucky me - I had my credit card with me. Two months later - as I look at my EOB - I over paid by $300+ and had to call them to get a refund. They were "behind" in processing over payments. As for the procedure - the doctor was professional and polite. Lidocaine injection was not placed in the appropriate spot and the first 15 minutes was done with fairly sharp pains. Only wrote the review so others would be on the lookout for the billing "issues" I encountered. Luckily, I had a friend that they had done the same thing to who filled me in on the "refund" part. Wonder how many people dont notice?

Last fall I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Under the caring direction and wisdom of Dr. Clayton Hudnall and Dr. Ken Stallman, I chose to have robotic surgery to remove my prostate in January of this year. My surgeon, Dr. Stallman, prepared me for the surgery so that when I walked into the hospital I felt confident I was in good hands. Dr. Stallman is an excellent surgeon who knows about cancer of the prostate and will faithfully guide you every step of the way. His surgical team is a caring group of men and women who will show you that God is good, very good. Im happy and grateful I chose Urology San Antonio and look forward to resuming my quality of life. Thank you, Dr. Hudnall, Dr. Stallman and Urology San Antonio! Rev. Scott Simpson, Associate Pastor, First Presbyterian Church, San Antonio, TX.

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Timothy Hlavinka. He gives great care to his patients. The only downside is that he takes 2 plus hours after the scheduled time to get to your exam room. I changed doctors to Dr. Daniel Yelfimov. I saw him for the first time time last Monday. I was told by the doctor that he would send a prescription to my local pharmacy for an antibiotic to take until the lab results came back. It was never sent. I have had horrible side effects from the infection with no medication. If I dont have a satisfactory answer in the morning I will be switching to my best friends doctor. Dr. Kenneth Stillman. I will not rest until I get the proper treatment. My next call may be to the Texas Medical Board if I dont get a resolution to the problem.

I would like to express my sincere thank you to The Doctors with the Urology and in particular Dr. Singleton in the treatment of my wife. She had for a year and a half been plagued with Bladder infections and we had been going to neighborhood clinics and they treated her with anti-biotics which clear up the infection but after numerous such incidents, It dawned on me to take her to my Urologist, Dr. Singleton. He in one visit examined her carefully and found the real problem was a fold in the bladder which was causing the recurring problem and started a careful treatment sequence which has kept her from this recurring problem. Our family is so grateful and we appreciate careful investigation of her condition and found a program or dealing with the problem.

Sooooo, if you have any urinary related issues in San Antonio you really have only one choice for care; going where the specialist are. That is Urology San Antonio. I was seen by Scott Christenson for related issues. After being seen by two doctors that misdiagnosed my condition I decided to go to USA (they handled my viso in 2012 with great treatment and results). Scott was amazing. He was empathetic and compassionate to my needs. He recognized my condition and made sure I understood treatment options. He was patient with me and explained everything that I needed. We also talked a bit about anecdotal stuff. He made me comfortable and important. The whole office was wonderful and I always enjoy using USA for all my urology needs.

Since I was coming from out of town I was a little nervous. From the moment I entered the building the young lady in the front desk was courteous and welcomed me with a smile. I must have waited 15 minutes and I was passed to a room. The nurse that initially helped me was kind and patiently heard everything I needed to say. When the doctor came in he was also very kind, respectful and also welcomed me with a smile. He has wonderful bedside manners and listened to me patiently. I left very confident knowing that after the treatment there were other options available in case the treatment did not work. I truly recommend Dr Yelfimov and his staff simply because they were professional, warm and very efficient.

I was diagnosed with a large cyst in my left kidney (which proved to be cancerous). My primary physician referred me to William J. Harmon, M.D., of Urology San Antonio. Dr. Harmon is an excellent surgeon and caring physician. My surgery was performed on a Monday and I was released on Tuesday at noon. My cancer was contained in my kidney and I did not need chemotherapy and/or radiation. I left the hospital with no pain and was on solid food. Three days later I was walking 2 miles a day. My recovery was quick and without incident. I would highly recommend Dr. Harmon and Urology San Antonio.

I have been a patient with Urology San Antonio for the past 5 years. Initially, the yearly examination, then 2 biopsy appointments, and eventual discovery of mild concern. After a year and a half of "watchful Waiting", the decision to remove the prostrate seemed the best course of action. Dr. Stallman performed the surgery, and I have been undergoing the usual post-operative meetings and consultations. I have 100 percent unconditional trust and support in Dr. Stallman, and I am happy to recommend him to anyone who has been told, or is contemplating surgery vs. radiation. Jeff Quin

I have been a patient of Dr. William Harmon since Dec. of 2015. I have been extremely pleased with Dr. Harmon. I have been a past patient of Mayo Clinic with the Urology Dept. Their care is extremely good. Dr. Harmons level of service and expertise is equally as good if not better. I had a renal cell carcinoma removed robotically by Dr. Harmon on a Wednesday. On the following Saturday night, I was on the San Antonio River Walk having dinner with friends. Im not saying that would necessarily be the norm, but in my case, the recovery was extremely quick.
