The staff were super friendly. I marked my paperwork indicating that i am hard of hearing and they obliged this in several ways. 1. They looked at me when speaking 2. If their mouth was covered (as it will be while in the chair) they removed the covering so I could match what I saw with what I heard. 3. If I didnt respond to being called they politely tapped me on the shoulder. 4. The dentist was VERY reassuring and let me know what he was doing. Even going so far as to provide me with a hand signal so he would know to stop and re-evaluate what was causing an issue. For someone who lives in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing world this was a RARE occurance and very welcomed! I have to give Kudos to Stacey their finance guru. She explained everything in layman terms and even explained it again a different way when i didnt understand what she said the first time. They were able to help me get financing for MAJOR dental work that my insurance didnt pick up. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Castle Dental for being supportive, helpful, and accomodating to this patient.

I love Castle Dental and the office staff is friendly, funny and helpful. Stacie the office manager has had a real hard time my son makes and breaks appointments regularly . I think this year we scheduled ,rescheduled at least 6-8 times . We have also cancelled appointments . She always has the best attitude about it. She takes pride in her job and doing it well. Our son has had several needs this year. They explained what needed to be done in a way that was easy to understand. They know your name and I feel they genuinely care about meeting our needs. The hygienist spent time explaining the importance of cleaning and caring for your teeth in a very clear manner.The dentist works well with our son. He has had a root canal , extraction , deep root cleaning. We will continue to use this office because they do a good job and the office staff is awesome. Thank you Stacie for working with us I know it has not always been easy but you have always been very polite and friendly even when I call scheduling or cancelling again on the same day. You know

I have always been anxious about having dental work. My last dental experience has left me traumatized. Dr. dAlmeida has managed to make me feel comfortable again. I came in as an emergency since I had a swollen face. She was very professional, and thoroughly made me understand what was going on. Unfortunately I had to have a tooth pulled. The whole experience was great! She walked me through it. She was very gentle, caring and has great bed side manners. Dr. D called me few days later to check on me to make sure the swelling went down and that I felt better. Stacie was amazing! She worked with me in making sure I maximized on my insurance benefits and helped lower my out of pockets expense. She really knows what she is doing. The dental assistant was so sweet. She was gentle while taking X-rays. I must say that I received an exceptional dental experience at this office. I would recommend it without a doubt! I am bringing my family and friends here

I was a new patient and they had a hard time verifying my insurance even though they had my card in front of them (they called the wrong place). I waited for an hour before seeing the x-ray technician. (The only positive was that they didnt charge me for the pano film!) The dentist was very rude and did not make me feel comfortable at all. I asked for a tooth to be extracted, which he agreed to, but wanted to add in a bridge, which would have brought my cost from about $100 to over $400. So I asked if he could just do the extraction and the doctor didnt even come out to talk to me to give me options or explain his reasoning. He just told his office staff to tell me no. So after waiting for 3 hours I left in the same condition I started in. So dont waste your time here. Your opinion as the patient doesnt go far... well at least it didnt in my case. Drive down the street to see Dr. Christensen! She is amazing and will listen to you!

they{castle} were very disrespectful to my son who is mentally ill. They treated him like he was stupid. He was sent there by medicaid and he was told there would be no charge by medicaid to have 2 teeth pulled, medicaid would cover it. Castle demanded $800 dollars up front before they would even see him in addition to what medicaid was paying. He could not afford it. When we asked for his referral back, they lost it and would never call him back. I had to go up to the office and demand they find it, They thought it was a joke and all they could say was it got filed wrong. After quite some time they finally found it but it was very inconvient for me to have to make a trip and then wait for them to find it. When my son had went in they had refused to look for the papers and just wanted him to leave they treated him like he was an idiot

I was a new patient here. I called and they only had an appointment two weeks from when I called. The two weeks finally rolled around. I get up there and the X-ray machine is down and they cannot see me. I was furious. Somebody couldve called me the day before or the morning of. So I got over it.... reschedule my appointment for two weeks later. The day before my appointment they actually called me this time. Thank god they didnt waste any more of my time. The X-ray machine was STILL down.... the lady asked if she wants me to call her when its fixed. I said yes... after reading a review the X-Ray machine is apparently fixed and I still havent received a call. I havent even seen a hygienist or a dentist and I do not recommend going here.

I reluctantly returned to this office after a terrible experience with their previous dentist and was pleasantly surprised with all new faces and an amazing new doctor! Dr. dAlmeida and her staff are by far the best staff Ive encountered at a dental office thus far. From the moment you walk through the door, they make you feel as if youre family. Dr. D demonstrates so much passion and knowledge and really helps you understand the whys and whats of your dental care. Stacie helped me find a way to fit my treatment into my budget and the assistants Savannah and Erica made me feel like I was in the best hands and took great care of me. Im so happy Ive found my dental home!

I am new to the Houston area and I have found my new dentist office, without a doubt! They were able to work with my schedule and were able to squeeze me in with no notice. Julie and Stacie both greeted me with a warm welcome as soon as I stepped in the door. There was a very short wait and Stacie kept me entertained. She has a great bubbly personality. Julie took care of all of my x-rays and initial exam and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I saw Dr. Kupetz and he explained everything in detail and made sure to answer any questions I had. Overall the whole experience was great and I will recommend them to everyone.
