We love Cole Veterinary Hospital. Over Christmas Break we left our two cats at home with a sitter. When we arrived home we noticed that the smallest, Bonnie, was not acting like herself. She wasnt eating, drinking and was avoiding us as much as possible. As the days went by, into the New Years Weekend, she was trying to meow and couldnt even do that. My daughter felt a lump on her throat and we knew something was seriously wrong. On that Monday, January 2nd, we called Dr. Coles office first thing and they got us right in. The did x-rays and based on the findings we made the decision for them to operate. They were able to operate that afternoon. The ended up removing a 1.5 inch piece of material from a nativity set (the hay from the manger, it was not real hay, but man-made) that had punctured and lodged in her throat. She has been on the mend and back to her curious, affectionate, crazy self. The staff was supportive, knowledge and compassionate. Our animals mean the world to us. We take the care of our animals, very seriously as many years ago in New York, we lost a healthy, vibrant pet that was under the of a vet. Dr. Cole is aware of that traumatic experience and has always gone above and beyond to reassure us that our pets are receiving the absolute best care while they are under his care. Every visit we make to Dr. Cole builds a more solid relationship where we are able to have 100% faith that our animals are going to be cared for with the absolute best care available.

Cole Vet has looked after our rescue dog Barney since we got him in 2009. They have literally saved his life a couple of times. Barney gets ridiculous things wrong with him: Once he had liver failure, which Cole Vet diagnosed and kept him alive to got to N. Houston Veterinary Specialists for treatment. (Barney probably ingested something from a sago palm which caused his liver failure -- if you have sago palms in your yard, do not let your dog go near them!) Then a few years later, he suffered ketoacidocis from diabetes that we didnt know he had, but Cole Vet figured it out and pulled him through. So, with Barneys bizarre troubles, weve paid a lot to keep him with us, but I think if your pet just needs normal looking after, the rates are not unreasonable. And the people are very nice, caring and helpful. Barney has seen both Drs. Cole and Dr. Carder and loves all his vets and staff. We would highly recommend Cole Vet.

This has been the best clinic in the area for not only routine visits. Additionally in emergency surgeries for your best friend when its discovered that your pet has a serious condition. We have been extremely pleased with the front office staff in their professional mannerisms in handling both owner and pet alike. The doctors are some of the best in their field of study, and extremely thorough in explaining the situation and treatment necessary. We have rescues and they are just like any member of your family, so we do what is necessary to ensure their health is taken care of. The facility is exceptionally clean and sets a great example of what a veterinary facility should look like at its best on any given day. We highly recommend this team of doctors and staff to anyone needing some of the best and most importantly professional in the industry.

Outrageous! I have seen two animals injured by this clinic in the past week! The first was a sick puppy with Parvo, not only did they give it Vaccines (which you never do with a sick animal). Then they sold the puppys owner almost $500 worth of goods and services for a dying dog and then told the lady to take it to the Animal ER. Next animal; they declawed a kitten, Not only is this barbaric, torturous and mutilating, it is condoned by the ASPCA and the Humane Society !!!! Outlawed in many European countries, I can see only greed from a Vet that still performs this practice. Do your research and you will find the truth. Their treatment of these animals bothered me so much that I felt a need to post a review. These two incidents, alone, tell me that they do NOT have the best interest in mind for your animals.

The most loving and knowledgeable vets I have ever known. They have taken care of all our cats and were so graceful and compassionate when we had to put our sweet kitties down. Have personal known the Coles for years; and most recently Dr. Nicholson has been our vet for our Sheltie. He has been boarded many times and we have no concerns about the care and love he receives while we are gone. Our dog even gets super excited now when he has to be boarded; Kensie is his best buddy and the entire staff loves on him. Clinic is a short drive for us from Spring; but no where I would rather take my furry family members than Cole Vet. Hospital. Follow up calls are always done when special care or attention has been given for our pets; they truly care about animals. Great staff and Aggies too; that makes it even better!

We have been taking our animals to Coles Veterinary Hospital for several years now and have always enjoyed their friendliness and professionalism. From the time you step in the door with the welcoming smiles and hellos not just to you but also to your fur-babies to the gentle and loving care of the techs caring for your fur babies as they prepare them for the doctors visit. I see (well my dogs and cats see) Dr. Wil Cole. He has always treated our animals with soft, tender, gentle care and has earned the trust of every one of them. He is willing to listen and takes the time to listen to every concern, every question you have. When any follow up is in order he is the one who calls you back and speaks to you, not the tech or the front office. (All though I love them all and would trust them all).

My Son and I went to Coles because I was loosing faith in our vet. And I must tell you that this was the best experience I have ever had. We are so pleased with the service and attention we received. The staff was perfect and very quick in getting us in. Everyone was very helpful. The 3 doctors were the best I have ever seen. We went on 3 different occasions and now have seen them all and I am so pleased and will continue going back. What a great experience and they were great about letting me know all our options. Office visit was a great price. I will be going back my self with all my babies. Thank you all at Cole Veterinary Hospital, you have made this a nice venture for Casey and our family. I give you all a triple A+

I first came to Cole Veterinary because the vet I was using did not have the equipment necessary to handle an emergency that came up with my dog. They referred me to Cole Veterinary, and that was a life-saving decision for my dog. They have been there for me EVERY time I needed them without fail. They stay after hours, always treat you well when you call or come in, and every doctor on staff has done well for me. Id recommend them, and have recommended them, extensively. Their Rayford Rd. location can be a little challenging, especially during peak traffic times, but it is worth the hassle for the caring service and professionalism you and your pets will receive in their care.
