absolutley heartless. i picked up a cat off the freeway who had been hit and who was savable. i rushed it to the nearest animal hospital which happened to be this one. the vet comes out amd sees a screaming cat wailing in pain and says " so whos paying for it ?" i told her it wasnt my cat and that i didnt have 800 dollars to save it. she then said well you have to pay for the euthenation then. i told her i didnt have money for that and that i was just trying to be a good person and she says " well im not paying the 5 dollars for the euthenation , ill give u a box to put the cat in and u can take it to anpther clinic" then one of the nurses who im sure makes less money than the vet volenteers to pay for it. this vet is PATHETIC!!! DO NOT TAKE SUFFERING ANIMALS HERE.

Dr. Cardenas is more than a vet, she has always gone above and beyond to care for our animals (11 dogs, a sugar glider, a regular squirrel a cat and a deer) she has worked with almost half of our dogs and i wouldnt trust anyone else with their lives. The staff is so kind and helpful. Everyone there is real, there is no beating around the bush. Its straight talk and always honest, good or bad news. Dr. Cardenas has saved 2 of our dogs lives so far ( 7 if you count the litter of puppies they saved

My family has three dogs and three cats, and we have been looking all over the Conroe area for a good vet and had no luck until we came to E.M.C.A.H. The people here actually care about animals and like them. Their prices are reasonable and they work with their customers to make sure it stays within their budget. I will never take my four legged family members to another!

We have 5 dogs and 3 cats and have been looking for a good vet for quite a while. We are very pleased with Dr. Cardenas and all the staff. They treat our babies with care and concern. I had one dog that had to have immediate treatment and it was late in the day. They stayed late just to take care of him. We are sooooo happy to have them and wouldnt go anywhere else.

Best vet I have EVER been to! Dr. Cardenas is very knowledgeable and clearly cares for each animal she sees, and the techs are great! Ive never been in the waiting room for five minutes and cost is always reasonable. Will continue to take all of my pets to her.

Took our puppy for the first time today. She was loved on and the care she received was awesome. Dr was attentive, sweet and explained the treatment very detailed. So happy to have such an amazing clinic so close to home!!
