Our perfectly healthy 3 year old dog DIED within 24 hours of leaving here. We brought in our beautiful great dane here, trusting that theyd provide him with the top level of care. Unfortunately, within less than 24 hours of bringing him home, our dog died. I understand that there may be risk involved in any procedure, but none were explained to us. To add insult to injury, when I called the vet moments after finding our dog dead, it seemed like they could not have cared less. Dr. Parmas response was that he was perfectly healthy yesterday, but you never know with animals. -- Id like to think that a veterinarian would feel much more confident in their capacity to assess a patient than this. Furthermore, over the course of the next couple of days as we looked for answers, Dr. Parma and Dr. Ron Ulfohn could not have been less customer service oriented and more evasive. update: Also, I noted a review from the office manager Jessica on this page. I do not think that Jessica is working at Stella Link during this time. During our visit, we were told there was not an office manager and that the owner Dr. Parma serves as the manager.

Update: people are saying I was a mad employee which isnt true... I quit there I was not fired... The place was making me sick and the Jamie flores lady that made that comment about me is the office Managers sister. I have nothing to lie about... I knew it would be negative feedback thats why I had pictures to prove everything I said.... This place is disgusting!!! I just stopped working there last week... Working there made me sick!!! They have mold everywhere!!! It stinks!!!! They have nasty sewage water just sitting around... Nats, roaches and flies are bad here!!! The groomer is disrespectful and handles the dogs horribly!!! The doctor is rude and she disrespects her employees... I could no longer handle the nastiness and disrespect of this clinic so I had to leave... Dont get me wrong the doctor had her days of when she wanted to be sweet and when she wanted to be evil but overall the clinic isnt worth going to... The kennel is nasty and it stinks!!! I wish I could post pics because you would have to see it to believe it!!!

I have met all 3 doctors from this facility and they all have spent a good 8-10 minutes with my dogs just for an annual well visit. They have explained things very well to me, including how to care for our dogs, prevention and treatment, medication usage, etc. Dr. Parma in particular has been great with all my dogs. They dont overprice you which is common in Houston. They recommend further examination if needed but they will try to avoid extra cost for the owner as well, in other words, they wont run unnecessary test unless is really needed. They take walk ins and appointments are pretty easy to schedule as well. Average in/out time is about 30 minutes including wait, doctors visit and payment. Overall am happy with them. Yes, their facility is not as fancy as others, but its an old building and examination rooms have always been cleaned. All of their staff has been courteous and super sweet with our dogs and they provided excellent care to all of them which is the main thing.

Hello. Google review readers. My name is Jessica. I am the office manager here at stella link animal clinic. Ive been here for 9 years. (Ive played every roll here except dr)Recently weve had a few bad reviews. We are taking everything into very careful consideration. Our team strives hard to give the best pet care and customer service around. We are currently making updates to our facility in and out. It saddens us to know people dont understand the meaning of "under construction". Over the past years weve added a number of things to make it more comfortable for our pets/patients and our pet parents. The one thing that is always the same is the level of TLC we give every single pet and patient. If ever there are any concerns please feel free to call or email our office. They told me based on my paper work that I could come in and get my dogs heart worm meds. So I go in with all my paper work and this women comes out and tells me Im going to have to have my dog tested. My dog just got tested and got put on her medication. This man walks over and tell me this is enough info and it is totally fine for me to get my dogs meds. I mean I called them and thats what told me the first time. Then this lady comes out, Im guessing she is the vet, yelling at us talking about how the shelter lied to us and by law she can not just hand out medication. I was confused and felt very attacked , becase THEY told me I could come in and get it, not some shelter. I did not particularly like being yelled at or that she clearly did not properly communicate what was going on with her staf.

Do not bring your animal here!! I brought in my 8 month year old puppy, filled out the proper paper work and when I returned, they still didnt do what they needed to do!!!!! I called them everyday while I was out of town to remind them when I was returning plus to check on him and They STILL returned my white/tan dog to me DIRTY after they were suppose to bathe him. He was a gray and Dirty!!! They charged me for a bath and didnt give him one. They told me I could bring him back and they would bathe him!!! Really????? I said no!!! I want a refund!! It took them 40 minutes to find my dog!!This place customer service is HORRIBLE NOW!!!!!!!!! Certainly NOT what it use to be! They need a new manager!, doctor and or Owner!!!BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone!!! As you can tell from the hideous comment that Kendra Black left, she is obviously a disgruntled employee who was let go for her purely rude attitude and her lack of affection towards animals. I have been taking my dog there for almost 10 years and they have NEVER, EVER, EVER treated my beloved dog badly. Except for Kendra. She was so rude and disrespectful, I would purposely hang up when she answered. These ridiculous pictures she posted were of when the clinic was under repair. Anybody who knows Dr. Parma knows that she is not evil and would never allow this kind of situation. As a loyal client I am glad that I no longer have to deal with the attitude of the horrible ex-employee who posted this bad review!!!

This place makes me ill. I will never return. I was there with my senior dog who had collapsed less than thirty minutes earlier. They did an x-ray and they knew she would die soon. Instead of telling us so we could spend her last moments together in happiness, they directed us to a 24/7 care facility during rush hour. My dog suffocated to death in my arms due to fluid in her lungs while we were stuck in rush hour traffic on 610. My dog hated this vet and I let them take her final moments from me. Instead of spending her last moments in my arms, I spent them stuck in traffic with her choking to death next to me. Stella Link had the x-rays. They heard her lungs. They said nothing. This place is sickening.
