The last update for this facility. I am very impressed with how they have responded to everything that has taken place. They have been kept in the loop about our kittens care through the vet and hospital stay and have helped out tremendously. I would recommend that if you need something done to bring your animal here. they will go the distance to make everything right. It was possible a bad drug reaction or could have been just my cat reaction to meds. but they stepped up regardless. I want to thank AMANDA and her lab manager especially for their concern and help. and i would now , knowing what i do about this facility, recommend it unbiasedly to everyone. I am updating my review. When i got ahold of this vet about my female cat. They were very concerned and helped with the extended cost of my kittens care even through another vet. They had offered to check her out at no charge. I already had her at another vet so they helped with the bill. Thank you for that. That was stepping up to help. I would ask them though to relook at their policy to make sure all animals are awake before being released, or to offer overnight monitoring on all animals that are having a difficult time. Took a male and female cat in to be spayed and neutered, close to home and reasonable price, picked them up and they were both completely out of it, now this is the first time i have ever received cats back like this. always they make sure the cat is awake and has used the litter box. not so here, we also paid for extra pain meds and they told us they gave a shot that will last 3 days, again something new to me. long story short my female is at another animal hospital with seizures, when cypress wood vet was called they acted like it was no big deal. while i cant say that my cats had been over mediated, i can state that the care they received was substandard, they never made sure the cats were ok before being released and then they had a oh well so what attitude when the other vet called to find out info. I would suggest not t to use this place to have your animals spayed and or neutered find somewhere else that at least shows some compassion for your animals.

The worst vet we have ever been to. I hope no one takes their animal to this place. If i could give 0 stars, i would. Our boxer stopped eating and was losing weight so we took him to this vet. They looked him over for a few minutes then drew 1 vile of blood for a standard screen and took 2 xray shots, both taking less that 10 minutes total, and charged $250! Thats in addition to the office visit and the pills, YES PILLS, they gave me for a dog that wouldnt eat. They also suggested paying more to a specialist that could "maybe tell us more" about the xrays and blood work that came back fine. Of course no improvement and we couldnt get much medicine into him. They called about his followup which we agreed to so we could get a final decision on our 11 year old. This time my wife took him and it was the male dr. He again pushed for us to take him to their specialist since they found nothing on either the xray or the blood work. Then he recommended another $250 in medicines that COULD help (in addition to office fees, etc). And when we explained that we were already over $300 in from the last appt and have no information as to what the problem is, he tried to make my wife feel bad for trying to lower the cost and not doing everything he suggested. He even compared his recommendations to that of a family doctor and you trying to cut cost despite your own health. Keep in mind, my wife was already crying because we are basically facing the fact that if this continues we will have to put our dog down and this ass hole tried taking advantage of that fact to get us to spend more. We have used so many vets in our life that really care about the animals and do everything they can to help your animal without making you go broke. THIS IS NOT THAT VET. The office visit is cheap to get you in but thats when they start adding in the costs. Please continue your search because there are better ones out there. Almost $500 spent and we dont know what the problem is and we still might have to pay to put him down next week.

I rescued two kittens from Montgomery County Animal Shelter(through a foster) on May 9, 2015. They are UTD on kitten shots, but a week ago one started coughing and sneezing. Three days of coughing and sneezing I took him to this clinic on May 18th. The Vet said " oh he has an URI" and gave him a shot of antibiotics $80- complete visit. Vet stated that his brother will probably get it. May 23 after 5 days of seeing absolutely no improvement, my other one started gagging as if he was trying to cough up a hairball...same as the other one, which I had told the vet. Took both kittens in on May 22, to no avail she stated "he got it from his brother just like I said." Here we go again with $30 for the check up; $40 for his brother to get the shot. Here it is May 24 and now both cats have vomited roundworms. One threw up eight worms at once and his brother threw up so many I couldnt get them separated. I do not feel like they listen to me when I was explaining the symptoms. The Vet seemed uninterested in what I had to say because she was constantly interrupting me. I will be finding a new veterinary clinic that will listen to me. However, I would like for this clinic to prescribe me the medication to treat both of my kittens minus the office visit. Negligence is going to kill animals.... listen to the owners next time. I tried telling you it was not that, but hey, when you have a license to practice in this field, I guess the best diagnosis comes from them. Youre closed on Memorial Day, but you will hear from me on Tuesday.

I took my dog here on MLK 2017 day for what I thought might be neck pain so they listened to his heart and lungs and said it all sounded fine. The vet then did some mobility exercises and determined he might have a pinched nerve so I was give an anti-inflammatory. I had notified her of the bad breath and excess panting, but didnt seem to hear me. I had visited this vet in the summer of 2016 for yearly examine and the vet tech squirted alcohol everywhere attempting to draw blood which they were never successful. So while at this visit I asked (on MLK day) should they take blood since they didnt over the summer and since they thought he had a neck issue didnt want to. If they had I might have been able to prevent the passing of my dog a week later, but I will never know what the true cause of why he died. I had see my best friend perish at blue pearl vet hospital on 01/23.
