Dr. Adrian has been my dentist for almost 9 years. I recommend him wholeheartedly to friends and family. My mouth was a circus, really, and my whole life Ive dreaded dentist appointments because I couldnt afford badly needed braces and I always felt like a freak. Even when I wasnt planning to do the extensive work required to fix my smile (which involved extracting a BABY tooth, orthodontia, implants) I never felt self-conscious at Dr. Adrians office. All along, Dr. Adrian helped me to problem solve what to do with that tooth, helped me to figure out what would be the most cost effective, what would last the longest, what would look the best. He was very direct and honest, pointing out pros and cons, and always understanding the constraints that I had. I felt like I was getting the very best for what I could afford all along. When I was deciding on an orthodontist, he said, "Do you want to know who Im sending my daughter to?" Yup. It was good advice. Always go to the ortho that a picky cosmetic dentist sends his kid to. :) He and my orthodontist have worked together while I had a baby tooth extracted, and made space for an implant. Dr. Adrian and his staff have been amazing. After one frustrating ortho appointment (when it looked like the process was going to take MUCH longer than I had anticipated), I drove directly to Dr. Adrians office, marched in, and explained (whined about) my dilemma. Adrian was leaving for a lunch break, but he saw me fly in the door, all flustered and cranky, smiled, and walked back into his office to consult with me, look at my x-rays and even do a CT scan. Knowing that he was on the case, I felt like I could relax and leave everything to the professionals (Im not usually that type of person!) The process of having all of this dental work done could have been very intimidating, but I have always felt like I have someone on my side who cares about the results just as much as I do. His staff is wonderful - the office feels more like a family than an office. I have never (not even once) had to wait upon arrival to be taken back. I think their scheduling system must be one of the best. I can get appointments when I need them, and they have really great reminder systems (I get text reminders about my appointments!) I cant say enough good about Dr. Adrian and his staff. They are holding my hand resolving an issue that has caused me embarrassment and distress my whole life, and I know that I chose the right people for this process.

Dr. Adrian restored my smile and my confidence! Ive had issues with my teeth since elementary school when I chipped my front tooth. Ive had to have crowns several times in the past and when we moved to Utah I needed to have my crowns replaced. Now I love my teeth and my smile! In addition to having great dental skills, Dr. Adrian has great interpersonal skills. He knows how to put a patient at ease and Ive never had such pain-free dental work. I used to be terrified of going to the dentist when I was a kid. I would count the dots in the ceiling tiles to get my mind off of the sound of the drill. Its too bad that Dr. Adrian wasnt my dentist back then. We have seven children and some of them had major anxiety about visiting the dentist until we found Dr. Adrian. Now they actually like to go to the dentist! Dr. Adrians staff is just as outgoing, kind, and fun as he is. Dr. Adrians sister, Audrey, is his wonderful receptionist. When I found out that their brother, David, is a physician, we chose him as our family doctor and weve loved him too. Ive always wondered what Dr. Adrians parents did to raise such wonderful children! Dr. Adrians has a beautiful office in a convenient location. Theres a little play room for kids and there are computers in the waiting room for patients to use. They always have a bowl of fresh fruit on the counter for patients as well as refrigerated water bottles. They know how to make patients feel welcome! I highly recommend Dr. Adrian!

Im sure the dentist does great work, so Im not going to discredit him. As for my first and only experience I had at this office, it was awful. Most of the receptionists were nice over the phone with the exception of one, who I wont name. I work a busy schedule. I took 2 days off for my birthday and its the only time I can get appointments for myself in. I had an appointment for Friday and I called later for an added appointment Monday. I wanted to get as much time in for dental work as possible. I show up Friday and the receptionist cancelled my appointment... Even though I clarified I wanted both days because Im busy and need the work done. I understand how communication can fail, I work with hundreds of patients at a hospital everyday, but if she wasnt so busy being rude over the phone the first time we spoke, she could have clarified like all her other colleagues prior did with me. You lack empathy, gave me nothing more than a shallow "Sorry" and explained that "1 hour on Monday would be enough" and "I would need to come back Monday." No thanks, Ill find someone who actually values my time, health and money.

About three years ago I was searching for a dentist to pull a bad tooth. I was surprised at some of the outrageous prices I was quoted by some. I wanted a place that was honest, fair and reasonably priced. Doctor Adrians office not only quoted a great price but their staff also acted very professional. I was very impressed with the service back then, so last month when I needed some cosmetic work done he was my first call. In fact he was my only call. The prices I was quoted for this work was right in line with what I was expecting, so why search any further. Once again I was extremely happy with the excellent service provided by his entire staff. I also had my teeth cleaned. He has a guy there thats awesome. I have sensitive teeth and HATE having them cleaned, but he said oh no problem... Best cleaning Ive ever had, and as close to painless as you can get. I would highly recommend Adrian and his team to everyone. I think Ive even overcome my fear of the dentist... :) Thanks guys!

A couple of years ago our family dentist retired. I never thought I would be able to replace him--I was wrong!!! We started to go to Dr. Vande Merwe because we heard about him through a good friend. I cannot tell you what a wonderful decision that was--things that had been plaguing me for years were taken care of with one visit to Dr. Adrian! Im serious! A simple change of toothpaste cured my sensitive teeth! Who knew? I had been using Sensodyne for years! The first time I went to their office I was skeptical--maybe even a little cynical! Their office staff was so kind and they actually explained everything as they worked. If you are searching for a good dentist and good experience, Dr. Adrian is your man! We are so pleased to know that there are good dentists out there! Dr. Adrian is certainly one of them! I would highly recommend him!
