I went without proper dental care for years and finally resolved to get work done after getting a new job with decent insurance and coverage. My wife went first and couldnt speak highly enough of the experience. Formerly, she had severe anxiety when visiting the dentist, but after her appointments with Dr. Baird at Millcreek, she is confident in her dental care and enthusiastic to take better care of her teeth– and to make sure I do the same for mine! The staff were kind, considerate, patient and informative. I never felt that I was being condescended towards, even despite the horrendous condition of my teeth, which is absolutely the best thing a dentist and his staff can do for me. I know my teeth are terrible and I know that its my own negligence. So thanks for the advice, instruction and information–without the cynicism or complaint. Millcreeks tools, procedures and care methods were selected with the patient in mind. They explained everything they were doing, why they were doing it, and why they thought it was the best way to take care of me. That meant selection, research, knowledge and practice were involved in each step of my procedures and instilled a great amount of confidence in me. They didnt try to push or sell me products, but made suggestions based on my personal needs and offered a variety of alternatives if I was unsure. Classy. Dr. Baird and crew are easily the best dental care that Ive received and I am happy to recommend them. I no longer dread my appointments, but hope that I can show them improvement the way they have shown me quality care. **A bit of an edit. If you truly feel the need to contact me(another reviewer) based on a review, simply because it is positive, disagrees with your own review and uses proper grammar, Id advise you to seek a new hobby, preferably one more constructive than monitoring a review board for a dental office for disagreements. I recently posted on Facebook asking my friends and family if they knew of any good dentists in the area. I had two friends recommend Dr. Baird and his office. On our first visit we were given a tour and met Dr. Baird before our annual cleaning. He was very nice and listened carefully about our questions and concerns. Becky, his hygienist was awesome! I floss everyday and my gums still bled when she flossed them. She taught us the correct way to floss (actually going down to the root part, not just in between the teeth). She said that the swelling in my gums (which Ive had for my entire life) would go down if we practiced flossing this way. Low and behold my gums have improved a lot just by changing my method of flossing! Who knew that wed been flossing the incorrect way our entire lives and that such a small change could make such a big difference. My husband was in need of a crown and was able to get it placed the same day because their office has the equipment to make them in house! No temporary crown or waiting for the crown to come in on a later day! After multiple claims I called Debbie to go over the claims and our patient responsibility. She very patiently went over each line item to make sure we knew exactly what our charges were. Not many people in the billing industry would take the time to do that and it was greatly appreciated. As new patients they also offered us free custom whitening trays with complimentary bleaching gel! Most dentists charge $150+ for this service but it was free which was great! Overall, we really liked Dr. Baird and his office. It takes an entire team of great people for an office to really excel and hes got it!

After years of compliments from my husband regarding Dr. Baird and knowing that Dr. Baird uses the most current dental technology, I asked Dr. Baird to take care of a root canal/crown problem caused by a previous dentist. This problem caused the remaining part of my tooth to break away, leaving so little of the tooth that it required a dental implant with bone graph. Having a separate and previous dental implant/bone graph many years ago, I was extremely surprised and impressed by Dr. Bairds skill and knowledge. Also, having many previous crowns in the past, I was extremely impressed by how quickly I was able to receive a new tooth. Instead of several trips involving dental work, impressions, wait time for crown to be made, return visit to glue in and adjustment - Dr. Baird completed all of this in 2 visits using current technology - dental work on first visit and complete crown and adjustment second visit. Another very important skill Dr. Baird shows is in how to give a shot to numb. Instead of receiving a shot, waiting 5-10 minutes to work, then in some cases needing a second shot - Dr. Baird gives one numbing shot that works immediately. Dr. Baird is a sensitive and caring dentist and each of his staff are also. He thoroughly explains his recommendations and how he will complete the procedure. I was also very impressed by how reasonable in cost of this procedure. After 32 years with one previous dentist, I moved all my records to Dr. Baird. I am so thankful my husband found him and am not as afraid of dentists as I use to be. Thank you, Dr. Baird.

We LOVE Millcreek family Dental! We have lived in California, New York and Utah, changing Dentist often. By Far the BEST experience we have ever had, was with Dr. Baird and his staff. From the moment you walk in, you feel like they care about you. The hygienist not only clean your teeth, but educate you about what you can do to make your mouth happy and healthy! They are also so good with my 5 children, weve seen pediatric dentist who werent nearly as good as Dr. Baird and his team! I love the open and honest way that they communicate with me. I have had many negative dental experiences over the years and it made me uneasy about finding new dentists. Not with Millcreek Family Dental, always a positive experience, even when we have a mouth full of work to be done, its still awesome! We will never change our dentist again. Dr. Baird is wonderful! His staff, Aubrey, Tracey, Ashley, Becky and everyone are absolutely my favorite. If you have dental issues, if you have had negative experiences, trust me when I tell you that if you choose to be seen in this office, it will change your dental experiences and you will love them just like we do! Thank you for being the best dental office ever! I just had a cleaning last week and a crown replaced today and I stand by my review. BEST OFFICE IN UTAH! And just for a disclaimer, if you are like me, I often wonder if the reviews are being written by family or friends of the businesses... we are not related to him or any of his staff, we met them all just by "going to the dentist".

I went the first time to this dentistry and I would advise you to stay away from them unless you want to get ripped off. I only had them do a checkup, cleaning and x-rays and they decided to charge my insurance company for three PERIODONTAL treatments which they havent performed. Ive called our insurance company and they said that all the charges on the statement from the insurance company were, charges filed by Millcreek Dental. Ive called Millcreek and the receptionist said that they have never filed those charges to the insurance company. My insurance company confirmed that they did. Also, they advertise on their website that you get free whitening for life with a new patient exam, X-Rays, cleaning. Well Ive never got it and nor did they mention it. On the other note I went to another family dentist in Midvale whom we used to go to when we lived there and this whole periodontal disease is a bogus and it is to get more money out of customers and to scare customers that they teeth will fall out if they dont get the treatment. Just STAY AWAY FROM THIS MILLCREEK DENTISTRY.
