STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!!!! One time I waited over 45 mins in the lobby after my set app. time. The dental assistants are the worst Ive ever seen. They kept forgetting to suction my mouth during my filling the first two visits.I felt like I was going to drown in all my spit. The third visit the dental assistant kept pushing the cup the help the filling into my outer check. She was really rough and clumsy with anything she did. While taking things out of my mouth she didnt use tools like the dentist usually does, instead she used her hands and shock my head until it came loose. She also kept pushing the suction and water tools into the bottom of my mouth whenever she did use them. She also had a bad attitude and acted like she was better than me. The Dentist himself is OK. After one filling I got done I had really bad sensitivity to cold and heat, It was so bad, that I couldnt talk outside because once the cold hits that tooth, Im in pain. This last visit they put something on my tooth to help the sensitivity, Ive noticed it helps a little but the sensitivity is still there. Overall I would not recommend the Bountiful Monarch Dental, I cant speak for the other locations, but this one has horrible dental assistants that make the whole experience awful. Now that Im done with my fillings I will never go back there, not even for a cleaning again.

Like the previous review I too had a wait time of up to 45 minutes even though I scheduled an appointment! When I finally did get taken back to have my teeth worked on neither the assistants or the dentist ever really explained what was going on. At one point during the procedure they both just left without saying a word. I was left there with my mouth full of who knows what just wondering if they were ever going to come back and hoping that when they did the numbing agent that they used wouldnt have worn off by then. It seriously felt like 10-15 min of me waiting there with my mouth full junk. Finally when I was able to talk again I asked a assistant what had happened and she said it was normal for the Dentist to hop around like that. My question is if they KNEW they had appointments why did they overbook and get busy?!?! Its ridiculous to spend that much time at a dentists office especially if you had to take time off of work to do so. If you like an unprofessional environment where the staff doesnt value your time or business, then Monarch Dental in Bountiful is the place for you.

I had braces put on 6 years ago. The orthodontist never mentioned the asymmetry in my jaw. I always noticed something off about my face but couldnt figure out what it was. So he fixed the crookedness but brought my left lower jaw to meet the top and it made my face even more crooked. He could have mentioned the asymmetry which causes my jaw to pop and lock when I yawn I cant yawn correctly. All these years it took me to figure out why my nose was crooked and it was my jaw. If he would have mentioned it I could have had the surgery by now. Dr. Clark was his name and I think he was in a hurry to retire. Also one of the assistants dropped a sharp tool on my chest that drew blood. She was very clumsy and hurt me and I never wanted her to do anything after that. Dont go here Ive heard other bad complaints about braces messing up teeth from this place.

I had a cleaning and check-up at this location as a new patient but never returned. The office appeared clean, but the dentist (not sure on her name) didnt introduce herself, was robotic, hardly spoke and didnt offer explanations concerning what she was doing. She then said I had about $900 in dental work that needed to be done. However, when I went to another dentist later, they didnt find these issues, and I had no problems. The dental assistant wasnt friendly either, and did an average job cleaning my teeth. They also incorrectly billed me for an appointment afterward, which took some time to resolve. I went here some time ago, so perhaps its changed, but since than Ive found a dentist that I prefer. I wouldnt recommend this location, however, I have no feedback on the other locations.

No one likes the Dentist. If you are one of those rare people that do like the Dentist, then you need a psychiatrist ;]. I have experience with Monarch in Salt Lake and Bountiful. Both of their offices have professional friendly staff. The Doctors are caring and do everything in their power to help you through the experience. If this is your first visit, expect your Doctor to design a personal treatment plan for you and tell you exactly what the cost of that treatment will be. Warning Monarch is not cheap, nothing worth while is. But the work Monarch has done for My wife, Myself and one of my children has been top notch professional quality work. I noticed that the Salt Lake office is quite busy but not quite so much at the Bountiful office. I would recommend Monarch.

I really like the monarch group here in bountiful. Ive been bringing me kids here for a few years. Theyre really kind and none of my kiddos are scared to come here. I also brought my brother here a couple years ago to remove his wisdom teeth as well as his cleanings and the service was excellent. Just started coming as a patient myself. I havent had dental insurance so havent been able to come regularly but I am starting too. Although they book out far sometimes they are always helpful in getting you in as soon as possible and work really well with your schedule.

My daughter was in emergency need of some very time consuming dental care. Devin J. Orvin, DDS only had a few minutes to see her according to his scheduler, but when he saw my daughter, and her need, he spent five hours with her fixing her very painful teeth. I will be forever grateful for his willingness to stay at work and take great care of my daughter. He did a marvelous job. He and his staff also take great care of my grandchildren. I highly recommend Monarch Dental and their friendly caring staff to everyone.

Good service, friendly and professional. I had a coupon from DEA and they honored the price for an expensive crown, which was more than 1/2 of other dentists. Both times I went, there was a more than normal focus on getting their money up front. I was asked for the payment by the receptionist. I payed with a credit card. Then I was asked for the payment by the dental assistant. So it certainly is a for-profit business and not your cozy family dentist.

I am so unimpressed with this place. Not only do they consistently try to sneak in charges even though I told them to only do what insurance covered (and still was charged), but there appt. times are extremely inconvenient. I was just informed that theyre open Mondays and Wednesdays and thats ALL! Looks like Ill be looking for a dentist office that is actually interested in being a business.

They are crooks just trying to get money. We keep getting bill saying we need to pay for our appointment even though medicade already paid it. We have called medicade they said theyve paid it already. We keep trying to call monarch but all they say is we will call back and they never call back. They say its going to be taken care of and a year later we are still fighting it.
