I have never had a worse experience in a hospital! My grandma was brought up by ambulance on Monday because she had a heart attack. Everything was fine until they moved her from the ICU. She got moved to the ICM and her room was filthy! The floor had dirt everywhere, the curtains were broken, the bathroom was gross and had garbage everywhere (my grandma hadnt used it she just got to the room) then my grandma starts smacking her lips like she is hungry (she cant speak, she had a massive stroke 17 years ago that left her right side paralyzed and she couldnt speak anymore). It was 2:00, my mom asked the nurse when she gets lunch and the nurse said when my grandma calls and orders it how would she order food if she dont talk? The nurse said yeah we were going to try and figure out how to get what she wants. Well when were you going to figure that out in a couple days? Shouldnt they have figured that out before hand? My mom talked to the director of hospital services about the issues we have had and she talked to housekeeping and a lady came to my grandma room, she was the most ignorant person! Told my mom to make her a list of things we didnt like about the room (with a nasty attitude) and was being rude!! Why would you put a patient in a filthy room? There were other rooms on the floor that were clean and they put her in one that was filthy!! My mom ended up telling the cleaning lady to get out of the room because she was so rude. Then we come up this morning to visit and find out she didnt get breakfast until after 10:00 when they finally figured out she hadnt ate anything, then were sitting here in her room and the cafeteria calls the room and asks for my grandma to see what she wants for lunch. Are you freaking kidding me? Nobody had told them yet that she cant order for herself. So my mom ordered her lunch and dinner and told them she cant talk to order. So apparently talking to the director of hospital services didnt do anything and was a waste of time because she didnt freaking care enough to make sure my grandma could get her food. Not to mention the doctor hasnt talked to anyone in our family sense Monday! Normally you see our hear from the doctor everyday, they tell us he has talked to our grandma and she can tell us what he says.... what part of SHE CANT TALK does this hospital not understand?? And they knew she cant talk my mom has told them over and over and they are supposed to contact her but apparently they dont know how to communicate with each other and tell them to contact my mom. She has to stay for 4 more days and we are ready to request get moved to a different hospital! It seems like that dont care about their patients which is sad.

Using my BFs account to do this, cause I dont have one. My mom has been here nurmerous times because of strokes and kidney failure. Last time she was there she said that they restrained her to the bed after my dad left so she would keep her oyxgen on. They also released her and let her go, when she wasnt of sound mind, but they said she was. They treat her like a drug addict anytime she goes in and say its the Percocet, and she OD on it. She takes it for her broken back and foot. Well it turns out after calling 911 again a couple days ago. That she has pneumonia and kidney failure from ALL the prescriptions that she is on. They said her kidneys cant keep up with that much medication, in her system. Her doctor has so many patients, and just keeps throwing prescriptions at her. Last June when she went in I wanted to punch the nurse who was caring for her. I wouldnt because I have RA, but Id never met such a rude uncaring person in my entire life. Shes white, overweight with short brown hair and glasses. I dont remember her name, but I cant believe they actually employ people like that there! When we called 911 a couple days ago, because she wasnt making sense, was low on oxygen and kept falling down. She understood when the paramedics said they were taking her to Ogden regional, she immediately started freaking out and saying no I dont want to go, so we begged them to take her down to Davis. We are now at the U of U hospital. Its further away but well worth the drive. Its refreshing to see nurses who actually care, and dont yell at their patients or family members.

Absolutely worst hospital Ive ever been to... gave birth to my son there 5 years ago and had a terrible experience. Extremely rude nurses, they didnt even wear gloves when giving me my IV so i ended up with a staff infection. After 20 hours of labor 4 failed epidurals and being accused of faking the pain! my son was born and sent to the NICU for evaluation and the nurse brought me a cart and told me to follow her to NICU! Mind you i just got done birthing my son and she made walk all the way there!! I was in so much pain and my feet swelled.. Needless to say i gave them another chance and when i was hit by a drunk driver in january 2017. i was sent to the hospital by ambulance because after the accident i was in exteme pain and couldnt walk. They spent more time getting my insurance informatiom than they did treating me. My leg was badly messed up and and i couldnt walk...all they did was give me a pain med and handed me crutches and sent me on my way... They didnt even assist me on how to use the crutches for someone who has never used them before.. And my 5 year old son was in the car as well.. I had to demand they check him out!! I will never go back!!!

We have been to this emergency room on 5 separate occasions being sent from the instacare or our primary physician and on every occasion have left feeling the same way: annoyed, frustrated, feeling like they dont care about you, they assume youre over reacting, nothing is wrong. Then we get a $3000 bill in the mail after literally having nothing done and being told to go home and watch it. You do the math on how much money we have spent in ER bills alone this year. On half of those occasions there was something wrong and they waved us away because we were composed and not screaming in pain or unconscious. Lessons learned: dont always listen do your primary care physician or instacare to go to the ER, avoid this ER like the plague. Side note- we went to the ER in Bountiful and had a great experience. Although we werent crying or wailing in pain they still took us seriously and performed definitive tests and the emergency surgery that needed to happen. Oh and the bill was cheaper than our visit to this emergency room where they didnt do any tests or surgeries.

I went to emergency for a heightened anxiety disorder. They gave me a couple xanax and told me to see my regular doctor. I cant get into a doctor for 5 days so I ask them for a doctors note so that I can stay home and alleviate my symptoms rather than suffering through work, high on xanax. But they told me they will not approve it. What??? They expect me to report to work under these conditions?! Wait though, they said if I make another emergency appointment, pay all of their fees again, they "might" consider it. This isnt health care. They dont care about people. They only want money. If I died from this anxiety, they wouldnt care as long as they get paid. This is a worthless facility, uncaring staff from the bottom to the top. I have strong feelings about going to the news stations about this. How could health care be so cruel? Im not asking for drugs, Im asking for help and time off from work to cope. This hospital is trash and I will never return. If I could give zero stars, I would. Not an option on here though.
