You and they could do better... List of complaints, not including being denied assistance because of my facebook review: 1.Dr. Rocco is always late. 2.Each time he is late, I am in the dark until I ask why Im 20 minutes past the appointment time. 3.It took days for them to fax my pre-approval for pain cream to my insurance. 4.The pain cream I received was not the cream I was promised, and cost 200+. 5.The receptionists seem annoyed when I ask for assistance half the time. 6.Dr. Jared threatened to have me expelled from the PT program because I missed a few appointments... I called on all but one, but I also have some major disabilities that flare-up, and I cant do things that the average person can. He didnt concern himself with why I missed them. Just that absences are not allowed, in any case. 7. I asked if going to a Pain Clinic was a good idea, and Martin said the PA said that they prefer I dont, because "all theyre going to do is put you on meds," then Martin and the PA proceeded to put me on meds. 8. I ran out of said meds, and they referred me to the ER, because by this time, I was fed up with being screwed over and I fired them. 9a. I left a 2-star review and the manager told me he wouldnt do anything else for me because of the review. I asked for clarification, if that was really what was going on, and he clumsily denied it, offered to have Dr. Rocco call me that night, and made sure to emphasize THAT NIGHT. 9b. I received no call, and spent the night awake, hurting, sweaty, restless, emotional, and disappointed. 10. My sister heard of my issues, and against my preference, posted a 1-star review on facebook. I have not seen this review, which leads me to believe this office only allows positive feedback. 11. I gave legitimate concerns about how they run their operation. There are problems, and they acknowledge them. However, they do not address any possibility of improvement or correction. Instead, the customer "has it out for them," or "you cant please them all." 12. I spent thousands of dollars since December (4 months ago in case you didnt think you could spend that much in 4 months on medicine) at this place and/or BECAUSE of this place. All they give me is an apology and the assurance that they will not resolve any inadequacies.

I love the staff at this office what more can I really say. Alycia and Ciara are amazing, there always able to find an opening somewhere for me when I need it, and are extremely friendly. I had a lot wrong with my shoulder, and being active in throwing sports limits you. Dr. Byck did an awesome job repairing all the tears and bone spurs I had. Its the first time in 8 years I havent had any clicking when I move my arm, which is awesome. The physical therapy department is great!! Austin, Elliot and Calvin help out a lot and check on everyone when they come in and get you started on your work outs. Tim Whitaker is my all time favorite therapist!!! (no offense John and Jared). Tim has helped me out with my shoulder four years ago when I found out my shoulder was torn, but not listening to him or Dr. Byck about what limitations I would have, ended putting me in need of surgery four years later (go figure). Now were working on getting me back to throwing and he wont let you quit your therapy tell you are 100% pain free. The doctors and therapist dont make you feel like some other patient which is hard to find, but they have them here. Waiting to see the doctors is slow sometimes, but thats what you get when you go to a office with doctors that treat you like a individual not just another patient, so that makes waiting worth it to me. Oh and for all the negative reviews about staff being rude. They are full of it, it goes back to the old saying treat others how you would like to be treated.

My appointment was at 3:45, I arrived at 3:35 to check in, after signing in and paying for my appointment I waited in the lobby for around 20 minutes, then I got called back into the waiting room to see Dr Kenna Larsen. After reading 2 magazines in the room, I looked down at my Iphone to see what time it was, to my shock it was 5:10. I was pissed! If I go to the trouble of making an appointment that was 2 weeks in advance, DO NOT leave me in the waiting room for an hour and half. My time is just as valuable as the Drs is. I left the office without even having been seen, and will make an appointment at another clinic.

Unprofessional staff members. Receptionist was very rude and careless with patients. The staff members seemed to be un-educated and do not call back patients back (cant be a major issue if you need medication) and had to call another doctor to get taken care of. Very disappointed with this place because I think the Doctors are all amazing there but the staff is going to give them a bad name because of their unprofessionalism. I have had major surgery from one of these surgeons and I am very please with my results but again my experience with staff was horrible. Hope they fix it cause it could be an amazing place...

I couldn"t agree more,Being a MA myself, I know what it takes to have professionalism toward patients. The receptionists are very rude, it was if I was inconveniencing them, as well as the appointment scheduler as you leave. She really needs to get something to keep her hair away from her face. I noticed all this on my FIRST visit. My Doctor, Dr. Kenna Larsen and her MA are amazing. If people dont like their jobs or the people whom they work for they should find another line of work. That kind of behavior doesnt make a very good first impression.

*Never saw the doctors. Couldnt get past the rude receptionist.* Melody, a receptionist at Utah Orthopaedics, is one of the rudest and most ill-informed front desk workers Ive ever had the displeasure of speaking with, but thank goodness I never have to repeat that experience. Not only is my husband not seeing Dr. Byck for knee problems, but I canceled my appointments with Dr. K, as well. We have found wonderful Drs to replace them, with staffs as helpful as can be.

Im posting under my grandsons account, I dont have google. I had 15 appts for my Achilles and my pain level went down enormously. Ive continued doing my exercises over the past 8 months and Ive improved to where the knot in my right Achilles is gone and my left one has almost healed completely. It is very important to continue with the exercises for constant improvement. Thanks Tim and employees for making me better! Michele Medina

Dr. Byck appears to have done a fine job on fixing my shoulder. I am able to return to music. Time will tell for sure how much performing I will be able to do. My range of motion is good. The physical therapist agrees that Dan Byck did a good job.
