I am a new patient and went in for a skin cancer check today. I saw Dr. Anna Edhegard. Dr. Edhegard was pleasant and did a very thorough examination. At the end of the exam I asked about a cosmetic consultation. She informed me that I would need to make a different appointment for that as it is not covered under insurance. I left the exam satisfied and went to the check out desk to book a consultation. The experience spiraled down hill from there. The person at the booking desk was rude and very unhelpful. She asked me what kind of cosmetic consultation did I want? I told her I was not sure and she treated me like I was the first person who had ever asked that. She told me she could not book an appointment unless I told her what kind of cosmetic consultation I wanted. I told her I did not know which is why I wanted a consultation. This went back and forth for about 5 minutes until I gave up and told her I guess I will have to go to another practice to get this service. What was even more frustrating is that there was another colleague standing at the desk and another one sitting next to her and no one was willing the help me. I ended up leaving the practice without an appointment and plan to never return.

I made an appointment using zocdoc to see Dr. Bray. When I arrived at the office I was told that I would instead see their Physician Assistant Kelly Balestra because I used zocdoc to book. I was a bit irked at this switch because the appointment through zocdoc specified Dr. Bray. Ms. Balestra was pleasant but talked a mile a minute. I asked her to check my moles and she stated there was one she wanted to "prick". She rushed me through some electronic paperwork and then removed the mole. Evidently "pricking" a mole means removal in her vernacular. No explanation from her as to why this was necessary and it seemed like nothing more than a way to churn my bill and get more money out of me. I will never be back to this office.

UGH! Ive been going to Dr. Joanne K. Simpson for several years. I go once a year for the mole patrol and to get my adult acne medication scrip renewed. The last two years, they have screwed up so badly on the prescription (ITS JUST ONE!) that I have ended up paying double as Ive received the wrong strength from ExpressScrips and then had to pay AGAIN for the correct scrip! And all I got was a weak apology and a promise that it wouldnt happen again. Well, it happened AGAIN. And to the tune of $200! So far, they have done NOTHING to rectify it - like pay me for the cost of their mistake. Zero accountability! SHAMEFUL! (I really like Dr. Simpson but I cannot accept this level of incompetence!)

I have one word, incompetent. I ended up paying a ridiculous amount of money to get a common skin condition diagnosed because the dermatologist couldnt identify it... The sad part is my mother (who has no medical degree) diagnosed it over the phone in 30 seconds without seeing a picture. I went to a Minute Clinique the next day and had the diagnosis confirmed and a prescription filled for 1/6th of what I paid at this dermatologist. Extremely disappointed that a dermatologist (if thats what you want to call this quack) took over a week to diagnose this and had to take a biopsy from my now scarred face to do it... Dont waste your money or time.

So I went to this place three times they kept telling me different things each time. I saw Dr Edhegard the second time she gave me a medicine that literally did nothing then scheduled me for another appointment just to tell me she doesnt know what it is, she made me make another appointment even though she did nothing the day I saw her except say the same thing she said at first. It was more like trial and error than actual diagnosis. But lucky for her she get to charge me every time I go and listen to her random and unhelpful guess.I feel like they give appointments just so they can charge patients.

I came here a few months ago, but wanted to write my review after my scar healed. I am glad to say that my scar is almost completely healed, I think it needs one more week. I came here about 3 months ago and had the best time. The staff is experienced and very professional. They were able to see me without any delays. My insurance worked well with there practice which was wonderful. My doctor was very friendly and gave me good advice on our to have my scar heal properly. I will not go into detail into what I got done here, but lets say I am happy with the outcome.

This review is in regards to their billing department. For some time now, they have been addressing invoices to my father, not me. Because of this, I assumed that he was a patient at Alexandria Associates in Dermatology. Eventually, I got a notice from a collection agency saying that I have gone past the deadline and have to pay extra on top of my initial bill. This is very frustrating and would have been resolved if they just addressed the right person from the beginning. In conclusion, I would not recommend Alexandria Associates in Dermatology.

I was asked to make a deposit 175 prior to appointment as a first time patient. Never experienced it before. Even having insurance would not help. Its absolutely unacceptable. Review was about management not doctors! I didnt actually visit this place and not going to.
