I read through many of the reviews on this page, and have not had the same experiences. I have seen Dr. Kong for over 10 years--she is fantastic and was the one who diagnosed my autoimmune disorder. My daughter sees Dr. Sexton. She is also great, addressing her directly, treating her with respect and a smile. My husband also uses this practice and likes it. I have seen pretty much every Doctor in the practice as my autoimmune disorder can result in a series of minor recurring issues requiring medical attenion. I always feel I have their full attention. I like that they have all my medical history at their fingertips on the handheld computer. I like the appointment style as well--calling the day of or the day before works best for me and my family. Every specialist referral they have given me has worked out very well. I have not had an issue with any of the support staff either. Have I waited? Yes, but on the flip side they have never rushed me through an appointment and have addressed all my concerns. I have also been taken in early. Ask yourself, have you ever been to a Doctors office that runs on time all the time? Have you ever been late causing a ripple effect on the rest of the patients? I have never had a problem with billing that did not get resolved with an initial inquiry. I find their practice modern and efficient.

Excellent care. I go to Dr. Gorrelick, and even though Im never sure if I spelled her name right, I know shes a great doctor. She takes the time to listen, really listen, no matter how long it takes. She asks follow-up questions, relates it to previous visits, and is willing to step outside of the traditional doctor box if she thinks it will help (eg she recommended a Neti Pot for nasal irrigation, instead of nasal sprays, for a sinus issue). The staff has always been helpful, although my interaction with them tends to be limited. I usually write down my symptoms in advance (or while waiting for my appt), which I think is appreciated. The few times I have needed off-hours help, I called their answering service and got a call-back almost immediately. Very good responsiveness off hours. I very highly recommend Dr. Gorrelick!

The doctors are nice but that is it. Dont bother if you are sick. If you have a sinus infection and are coughing up infectious "stuff" you will have to suffer for two weeks and come back before they will prescribe something. They enjoy having the extra co-pays. Even if you have a history of pneumonia and bronchitis. Go to CVS buy $50 of pills the doctor suggest to help with the pain and wait to get worse. They act like I have not been going there for the last four years. They ask questions like you are a new patient. Hello, I was here two weeks ago. I know it sounds like a rant but people need to know. I have a history of bronchitis and pneumonia and they treat me like I am faking it.

I decided to use Dr. Julia Stanford as my new Primary Care physician. If you are 15 minutes late to your appointment (even due to traffic due to an accident) you are sidelined and told that "she is making time for her patients that made their appointment on time" by her nursing staff. In my case, best case scenario is that it would be another hour until Id be seen. This was only my second trip to her office. With Arlington traffic you may want to have a Doctor with a little leniency for their patients. Fortunately there are hundreds of other providers in the area. I will pursue another office after being treated this way.

This practice only allows you to book up to 2 days in advance (how many working professionals in DC metro can juggle that for on-going care?). In addition, Dr. Kong is both blase and lacks the experience to identify things like a-typical, ermerging skin melanoma for example. If I had not transfered into their office with copious medical records she would have failed to maintain my health properly, and if I did not have an open insurance plan and amazing specialists I would have left their practice already. I will soon however, as I vote with my feet and my cash.

I just moved to the Arlington area this August, and was looking for a primary care doctor. The entire staff at Premier Primary Care has been so impressive. They were able to get me a sick appointment the same day I called, and I was taken into the doctors room very quickly. I barely had to wait in the waiting room! Dr. Benchoff was so kind, and took a lot of time to explain every thing to me. The whole staff was so friendly, and really took their time to care for me. I am very happy with my decision to go here!

Health care professionals need to ensure their words and actions do not adversely impact baseline health readings such as BP. At PPCP both my physician and her aides exhibited an hysterical manner that would impact my BP, raising it. When told of this impact, they ignored my words and continued with their behavior. I sought another examination from a provider (cardiologist) who was more objective and not exhibiting hysteria. My BP was much lower and within acceptable range. Im not going back to PPCP.

I separated from the military and had to find a new Primary Care Doctor. My experience with Dr. Kong has been incredible. Her professionalism, kindness, attention to detail, and overall bedside manner is amazing. Some may think seeing a doctor of the opposite gender may be intimidating or embarrassing, but I have felt nothing but comfortable. Thank you so much Dr. Kong for your continued support and guidance!

We take my now 8 mo. old son to see Dr. Stanford and were very pleased. Im a first-time mommy so Ive called quite a few times with questions and gotten info from a nurse, or an appt. very quickly. Dr. Stanford loves kids, and she and the staff make our baby comfortable and are very patient in answering all my questions. This practice was recommended by my OB-GYN and I can see why!

Called, new to the area and sick for 8+ days. Id already been to urgent care and have not gotten better so they suggested I find a regular MD. I called, they could not get me in, with any of their doctors of NPs, for more than a month away.

Dr Sexton, Dr Gorrelick and Dr Stanford are all great PCMs. I have been seen there for over 5 years with my two boys. They are available for appointments when you need them! Being a working mom that is a huge plus!
