What a fantastic place to be lied to and dealt with dismissively!!! I called Dr. Haines office a few weeks ago explaining my situation. Long story short, I dont have an optometrist in my area and Im on my last pair of contacts. I have Cigna insurance and over the phone, Dr. Haines receptionist assured me that they take Cigna. So I find it frustrating when I show up to my apt and find out that they dont actually take Cigna. The receptionist took one look at my insurance card and said "oh, we dont take that, its going to be $200". Im a 24 year old working 65 hours a week to support my family so I dont have $200 laying around, nor is it easy for me to make room in my schedule to come down and be lied to by your staff. Also, I was very up front and told them I was on my last pair of contacts. Contacts only last a month. So now Im forced to stretch this pair as far as I can because apparently I was mistaken to assume I wouldnt be lied to by your receptionist forcing me to put all my metaphorical eggs in your $200 basket.

Ive been going to Dr. Haine for quite a few years, and the quality of care is amazing. Each annual checkup is comprehensive, and Dr. Haine takes time to listen to concerns and make sure that your eyes are healthy. I also like the fact that Ashland Eye Care doesnt push getting new glasses every year whether you need them or not, and they do adjustments free. I am confident that Im receiving top-quality care at all times.

Great eye doctor... takes his time and does it right. I havent seen the need to even consider going to another optometrist. I feel completely confident in Dr. Haine.
