I had Custom Vue Lasik in both eyes to correct my distance vision. My surgery took place on February 21, 2008 and was done by Dr. Falkenberg. The procedure was easy and painless. I had been using disposable contacts for two years but it had become frustrating to travel with them. Even though the care of the disposable contacts was easy, the cost of the contacts continue to rise. I realized that if my prescription continued to change over the next couple of years, the amount that I would be spending on contacts and glasses would eventually pay off a Lasik procedure. So I decided to make an appointment to find out if I was a candidate for Lasik with Willis-Falkenberg Eye Care. Once it was determined that I was a candidate I just had one more appointment for more testing and then finally my surgery. I was very pleased with the staff and Dr. Falkenberg who explained to me the surgery step-by-step. Knowing each step of the surgery helped me to feel at ease. The only discomfort that I felt during the surgery was the lid speculum that held my eye open. After the surgery I felt a slight burning sensation with some tearing that was managed by Tylenol and several drops they gave me to help heal the eye. All in all this was a great experience. I would recommend Lasik by Dr. Falkenberg to anyone who would like to get our of their contacts or glasses. Three years later my vision is still perfect, I see better then 20/20 in each eye.

had Lasik by Dr Falkenberg many years ago, I guess 15 by now, and all was great but now Im needing cataracts removed and I elect to go back to Dr Falkenberg. I highly recommend him.

My experience was very positive. Lasik was easy, painless, and enabled me to read the newspaper the very next morning without my glasses. Its such a freedom!
