I had lasik done at Access Eye Centers 6 months ago by Dr. Mansouri. I had some experience with this eye center in prior years, mainly for contacts. I asked about lasik at my last eye exam and was sent to Margaret, the laser coordinator. After a few brief questions, I decided it was time for me to finally have my eyes fixed and made an appointment for the next week. Jaime started the process by performing what I would say was the best eye exam I had ever had: He did many tests to make sure my prescription was right and also reviewed my records from the past two years to make sure it hadnt changed. My eyes were then dilated and I saw Dr. Mansouri, the surgeon. My only concern was that there was quite a wait before he came to see me. Once in the room though, he was kind and attentive. He made sure I understood what I was getting into, and also that I understood I would still need reading glasses (which I knew from before). On the day of surgery I went to their laser center on Plank Rd and was greeted by Margaret. I took the sedative pill I was prescribed earlier as I was nervous. I was put in a holding room and a few more eyedrops were placed into my eyes. Dr. Mansouri came in and examined my eyes one last time, and then took me into the lasik room. I was worried about how I could keep my eyes open for the surgery, but they put something into my eyes that kept me from blinking. I went under a laser that made the (?)flaps. Honestly I dont remember much but It wasnt painful at all, I just felt he was pushing something onto my eyes. Then they put me under the actual lasik laser, which took about five minutes for both eyes. They asked me to sit up, and I could already see better. Everything was very foggy though, and before I had a chance to say anything Dr. Mansouri said that the fog is normal and it would go away by the next day. It went away later that evening. I went home with some drops, and since it was later in the evening by the time I got home I just went to bed. It must have been the sedative. The next morning I woke up and my eyesight was just so much better than I could ever see. There were a few checks after the surgery and there were no problems. It is now about 6 months and the only time I need glasses is for reading.

The medical side of the house is great; however, the sales side of the house is pretty God awful. The selection is poor and they really struggle to order items not in their limited inventory. Additionally the sales staff wont give you a PD measurement unless you buy your glasses from them or really harass them into doing so. Finally, the sales staff is extremely slow and not very well versed in people skills. I only use this location for Rx check ups and order my glasses through a different store or online.

I usually go to the Stafford office and see Dr. Biscombe because that office is closer to home. This year when I went for my yearly exam they did not have the particular style of glasses I was looking for. They suggested I drive down to the Falmouth office because they thought they would have them in stock. I drove down and sure enough I found something I was happy with. The service from the optical people was great. 4 Stars only because I had to drive down to Falmouth, otherwise all was OK.

Went there for prescription sunglasses recently. They have recently renovated the Falmouth office and it just looks fantastic! Saw their very nice, friendly optometrist Dr. Tracy Dzibela who did a great job determining my prescription and explaining all my options. Darlene helped me with the prescription, explained my insurance benefits and all in all did a fantastic job. I picked up my new sunglasses a few days ago and just couldnt be happier with them. I will be back.

Last year I had cataract surgery performed at Access Eye by Dr Mansouri and went back this year for a follow up. I was surprised to see the office after their renovation. Everything was bright, new, and cheerful. This time I saw Dr. Deas and her tech Suzete. Both were friendly and helpful. It turned out that after my cataract surgery last year, I was seeing great and still did not need glasses. The care I have received at Access so far has been top notch.
