Overall I highly recommend; this is an excellent eye care facility. The office staff was very friendly and helpful; with four small children filling out forms can be a challenge. The staff took the time to help keep them entertained so I could fill everything out. I truly appreciated this! Dr. Tsai was very friendly and professional and all my children liked her. We also have seen Colleen and she was also very friendly and professional. My daughter asked when she could come back. The only thing "negative" I have is that it would be wonderful if they had a waiting area for families with smaller children. Dr. Tsai sees pediatric patients and many of them have special needs (like two of mine do) and it was stressful trying to keep them busy and quiet for two hours. AND since this was during school hours my normal baby sitter wasnt available and my husband is deployed I had no option but to bring all four children with me.

Dr. Smart, besides being the best optometrist ever, is a sweetie. He is wonderful to work with. Although he always runs on time (no waiting), he acts as though I were the most important patient he has; never in a rush! Except for a few years I lived on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, he has been my doctor for about 30 years. Even when I lived in Maryland, I traveled to Fredericksburg for my eye exam after a bad experience in MD. (After the third attempt to correct the lens for distance, I was told to not come back again.) Dr. Smart, please do not retire - EVER.

I have had the honor knowing Dr. Tsai for quite some time. She practice is the state of the art. It is so refreshing not having to have your eyes dilated at an exam instead a computer program is used. All of the doctors and staff at Premier Eyecare are professional and treat the patient with respect. They make the patient feel right at home and make sure that they address any question and/or concern presented to them. I highly recommend Dr. Tsai and her associates to anyone who is looking for an eye doctor. Check them out. You will not be sorry.

We have been patients of Dr. Smart for over a quarter century. In recent years, we have also been seen by Dr. Tsai and Dr. Hair. We remain impressed by the excellent medical care, extraordinary rapport with patients, and well-run office they provide. Their opticians and support staff are also out of this world. Last year our son had a eye emergency in the middle of a (weekend) night and they took such good care of him. The world "superlative" is the only one that comes close to describing this amazing group of people. We LOVE them all!

Dr. Tsai is far beyond an eye doctor. She is able to assimilate eye issues with behavior problems, recommend further treatments, and coordinate other issues alongside vision issues to see the whole child (or adult) and recommend possible reasons why they may be struggling. Shes kind, brilliant, and really cares. Shes so beyond an eye doctor. We pay out of pocket to go because our limited insurance doesnt cover her fabulous services, and its been worth every penny.

Dr. Tsai is outstanding!!! She is great with my 6 year old as well. She takes her time and when she is finished your exam you are confident in the information you receive because she is so detailed. Because of her I was able to find out that some of my exhaustion I was feeling at the end of the day was related to my eyes. Something no one in the last 39 years of getting eye exams had ever noticed. The staff is very friendly and will work hard to help you.

The entire staff is outstanding. We have been making the trip from Lexington Park Maryland (1.5 hrs away) for several years now and its definitely worth the long drive. I've been wearing glasses for over 40 years and this office is the absolute best!

Dr. Smart & his staff are always professional & pleasant. There is no other eye doctor that I would even THINK about going to! My husband, myself & 2 kids have been "seeing" him for years. LOVE HIM! I am impressed with the Dr. and staff. Dr. Tsai recommended a second pair of glasses for my computer use and document reading accuracy for work and it has helped my productivity as an employee and leader. Dr. Church is very professional, and very caring about his patients ,he gets back to you right away if theres any problem or a need. His staff is wonderful, and the opticians are great. I have been a patient at this practice for many years and have always been pleased. The entire staff is pleasant, professional and helpful. The optical staff goes out of their way to please. I doubt you could find a place with better service and quality.
