Follow up: The office manager called me the following day after I posted this review. She sincerely apologized for what have happened and provided explanation, saying the staff person who had been dishonestly handling our account is no longer in the office. She has also mailed the check to us. I guess that put a closure on this incident and cleared our questions regarding the liability of this clinic. I will give them another chance. ********************************** I have over a hundred dollars refund that I should have received half a year ago, and they promised and promised on the phone and in person over the past several moths that they will refund me. However, never saw the check in my mailbox. I called again to check after about a month, and they kept saying similar things to me and PROMISED to mail me my check. But again, they did not. I feel that they have been really dishonest in handling this. And I can not stand being lied to anymore. Today, my husband called again about the check. The person at the phone knew exactly what he was talking about. However, she still asked him if he wants to use the money as credit next time. The answer to that is no. Because there will not be a next time with them. I have never been in any clinic that does business like this. It has become very irritating for us.

On a referral from a friend, I scheduled at Blue Ridge, as I had been struggling to find a place where I was comfortable (as comfortable as you can be at the dentist). I genuinely believe that youll be hard pressed to find a better dental practice than Blue Ridge Family Dentistry. Recently, while getting my cleaning and checkup, I could hear the dentist, Dr. Solis, chatting with a couple of young kids while they were having something done - It was like he was their best friend. At BRFD the staff is wonderful and welcoming. The assistants, hygienists, and Dr. Solis are all true professionals (and respectful of each other, which is a big deal to me). Treatments are explained and performed with skill and care. I would feel comfortable recommending them to anyone I know.

Dr. Al and his staff did a great job of welcoming me and making me feel comfortable. I had to do an emergency root canal and they made time in the schedule the same day, and more importantly, they explained each step, explained each option, let me choose, and took away all the fear and apprehension I had about the procedure, plus I had a new crown the same day! They also managed to get a cleaning in for me and wife while we were waiting for the machine to finish, keeping us from having to come back next month. The facility is clean and everything is brand new and the staff are super are super friendly. Dr. Al even called me a few days later to see how I was doing. Top marks for Dr. Al!

Excellent practice, staff, and dentist To be honest I am a big wimp in the dental chair due to sensitive teeth. Cleanings can therefore be painful. Now I wont lie and say there was NO pain here BUT this was the least amount of cleaning pain... They pre-treated my teeth with sensitivity floride before the cleaning which seems to be a BIG help! All staff are VERY helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The equipment and office setting are state of the art. LOVE this practice. If you are like I was, trying to pick a new dentist based on Google reviews... These GREAT reviews are a true representation of what you will find here.

I have been a patient at Blue Ridge Family Dentistry for the past year. I have always been very pleased with the location, staff, and office. Dr. Al has recently taken over Dr. Solis practice and I saw him this week. I was impressed as always by the professionalism and helpfulness of everyone in the office. Christine is my Dental Hygienist and she is the BEST! She is so very knowledgeable and helpful. I love the tips, tricks, and recommendation she gives me! I luckily have not needed any extensive work, but enjoy coming in every six months for my cleanings and check-ups.

I have the biggest fear of the dentist, however from the very first phone call, I felt my nerves calming down. When I arrived, I was greeted with a smile and was given a tour of the facility to help me become comfortable. Every person I came in contact with was very pleasant to me. Dr. Al was very kind and even went out of his way to call me later in the day to check on me after pulling a wisdom tooth. To top it off, I didnt even need to take any medicine. I look forward to many more visits to this office for my dental care.

I had the crowns on my two front teeth replaced, which was a bit nerve-wracking for obvious reasons. Dr. Almazayyen went to great lengths to make sure they were just the right shape and shade to make me proud of my smile. They appear to have all the latest technology. The office is bright, cheerful, and comfortable, and the dental assistants and front office team couldnt be nicer. Happy customer!

Absolutely incredible staff & doctor. I have been to several dentists over the years due to moving and having an extensive dental history, and Blue Ridge Family Dentistry has been by far my favorite. Dr. Al and his staff are exceptional. I am a terrible dental patient and Dr. Al was so patient with me and kind about my fears. Highly recommended! Dr. Al is looking after our entire family, hes responsive, including coming in over the holidays to check on my daugthers tooth. He also recently fixed up a long-term and irritating sensitivity for me (after at least two other dentists ignored it). We have found our dentistry office for the long term here in Charlottesville.
