NEGATIVES: • Despite having Medicaid, I was charged up front and would be reimbursed by VEO after they are paid first. • Charge up front meant no new frames for kids despite it being covered by Medicaid. At the time, I could only afford to order lenses to use in kids’ old frames. • Female staff member admitted not knowing how to handle Medicaid process. • I was told lenses would be in Friday (6 days later) and that I could drop off the old glasses to have the lenses cut to fit old frames (30-minute process). No one bothered to call me to inform me whether the lenses were actually in or not. • We went there Saturday (day 7) and were told lenses weren’t in yet and that they would call me Monday. No one bothered to call me Monday. • I finally got a call the following Saturday (day 14). The message left stated I had to make an appointment to DROP OFF the old glasses. • Appointment made for Tuesday (day 17). I was then told it would take 45 minutes, so I left my name and number for them to call me when ready (they didn’t know to look in our charts for my name and number). • Since no one bothered to call me after two hours, I called them to find out that the eyeglasses were actually ready. The woman I was speaking with apologized for not calling sooner stating that they were “busy with patients.” (What are we - chopped liver? Did my kids not go through the whole eye exam process with them and order lenses from them?) I then had the pleasure of being asked, “Do you want to pick them up?” Well, DUH! • When we finally returned there, I was given the experience of dealing with a “healthcare professional” with no bedside manners. It was more like dealing with a typical Asian businessperson rather than someone who should actually care for their patients’ eye health. POSITIVE: • I would rather poke small holes into my eyeballs and flush with acid than deal with VEO.

I HIGHLY recommend you find another Optometry location. This place is terrible! I had to go back like 5 times to get my trial contacts and it took about 2 months for them to even come in. Then they called me and told me they were in, drove all the way there for them to tell me ONLY the left eye was in! I was so mad. Friendly docs, but not worried about expediting anything for their patients. They also got my prescription totally wrong not once, but TWICE! I then just took it upon myself to give them my OLD contact prescription and had them order the trial pair for me. After I received my trial pair and prescription, you BEST believe I took that prescription elsewhere and ordered them. They dont deserve a cent. Just a heads up because I was searching in hopes of finding a convenient great Optometrist near my work and I was completely disappointed - so DONT waste your time.

Disappointed disappointed disappointed I went there for my son, he was having ichy eyes and was rubbing them too much. We went there expecting some eye drops and thats it. They did eye exam for that, it was OK, but then she suggested he needed glasses. It was a shock for us, she said its normal if he dont use glasses his vision would be worst he would have to put patch blah blah blah. We were like ok fine, lets go for the glasses. The glasses were too expensive. After that he was never comfortable putting them also we were pushing him to put them on. After like 4-5 months we decided to show to different doctor and found he never needed glasses. We were shock. They just want to sell expensive glasses to people. I would never recommend this to any one instead I will share my story with everyone I know to never to visit this place. WORST

I had an eye exam and the Dr. Vo was very nice and knew what she was talking about. She fit me in comfortable contacts that are perfect for my eyes. After a week of wearing the trails my contacts were ordered and I picked them up just a few days after. The staff there is very friendly and well organized. They called me the day before to confirm my appointment so I would not forget. While I was there I had them adjust my glasses which had gotten loose on my face. They were happy to help and made sure my glasses fit correctly before I left the store, even though I didnt get my glasses there. The store has a great variety of frames and I am planning on getting glasses the next time I am in. Over all it was a great experience and great service. Highly recommend this place! =)

I was there for an hour and twenty minutes and they would have kept me longer if I hadnt said that I (and my eyes) could not withstand anymore tests. I basically walked out. The staff seemed very unfamiliar with the equipment and had no sense of efficiency. The staff did not communicate with each other at all as two different staff people tried giving me the same set of tests before I told them I already had it done. I left the appointment very frustrated and without knowing if my glasses needed to be updated, or what the other results actually meant. I l was very frustrated and will not be returning, it was overall a horrible experience.

The doctors were very knowledgeable and the staff was very friendly and competent. The staff would take their time to help you solely, while another receptionist would help other patients. They really try their best to make your experience enjoyable. The only complaint I have is that it took a few days longer to get my frames than I anticipated. They informed me that there was a defect on my lenses and they kept me informed about the process and how long I need to wait. When they arrived they were exactly what I wanted and it was definitely worth the wait.

I described to Dr. Vo that I was wearing my current contacts continuously for 30 days at a time. Then she gave me a prescription for a type of contact which I later discovered could only be worn safely for up 6 days at a time. She didn’t mention this when she gave me the prescription. I called, and she wouldn’t change the prescription to the type of contact I was wearing without subjecting me to another fitting. Such a waste of my time!

Dr. Vo and her staff were great. I had an appointment and waited between 5 and 10 minutes before being seen. They had the information I had given them ahead of time already printed on my patient forms (address, insurance, etc.) which was nice. Dr. Vo was very professional and personable. I have never worn glasses and her staff member took a lot of time and helped me select the right pair. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Vos for more than 5 years. I have appreciated working with her as my eyes have transitioned out of contacts and into bi-focals. I have had my children seen at this office and these doctors were the first to detect an insufficient convergence problem with one son and recommend Vision Therapy - they do not provide vision therapy themselves.

Recently I was a patient at Visual Eyes Optometrists. I received excellent service from Dr.Vo who did my eye exam.. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the eye glasses I was purchasing . Oh! and did I mentions they had all the latest styles and accepted my Insurance HASSLE FREE. I will recommend Visual Eyes to my friends and co-workers.
