when I came in the first time (March 2013), I listed several symptoms/complaints. Dr. Theisz was not concerned with my health. Rather, he was more elated that I came b/c I found good reviews and wanted to know which websites I found them on. This was the primary topic of conversation. Then I was told to come back for a physical to run a few blood tests. I came back and got my blood drawn and re-visited my symptoms/complaints, which, again, he heard nothing. He was so caught up in himself that he didn’t hear what I was saying. He said he’d call me with the results of the blood tests and he sent me away with a piece of paper stating only one of the many symptoms that I was facing, with recommendations that had nothing to do with what I came in for. I’ve been to several doctors and specialists over the past year or so trying to find what was wrong. Most of the nurses I saw, including his, seemed overly concerned about how low my blood pressure was. I thought that was a good thing, until I looked it up on several websites to learn that I was not in a good place. They called me back to tell me my blood work was fine and that was it. I took my blood work to another doctor and she was concerned that he didn’t do anything about it. She ran a few more tests than Dr. Theisz did and found the problem. I feel that I wasted my time and money with him… I wouldnt recommend Dr. Theisz. Go find another Dr who genuinely cares about your health.

Dr. Theiz is our family doctor since we moved from CA to VA, 7+ years ago. With big surprise I have read 2 low rated reviews since he is one of the most caring, understanding, thorough doctors I have ever met in my life. He does listen, he is an excellent diagnostician and besides all that, he is friendly, caring, understanding, and patient, and he remembers his patients. I have referred him to a few of my friends and all of them are very happy and have no complaints, only praise. I personally do not have insurance and have to pay for all services. Not only are his rates reasonable, his staff will also try to find the least expensive place if you need X-rays, MRI or else. He will also try to prescribe the least expensive medication, often giving samples of drugs that are high priced at pharmacies. Time spent waiting for your appointment is minimal after you check in and if you are an existing client you will get an appointment real fast. Overall, we consider ourselves lucky to have found him.

Personable and cares about his patients. I have gone to Dr. Theisz for several annual health checkups, and I have been very pleased with my experiences. During each appointment, Dr. Theisz took the time to talk with me about any health-related questions and concerns I had. It is obvious that he truly cares about his patients and wants to find the course of action that is best for each unique case. I have been to doctors before who treat their patients as a paycheck, and Dr. Theisz is the complete opposite of that! It is also convenient that his office is equipped to do lab work and run tests on-site during your visit.

Fantastic doctor. Very knowledgeable, and very resourceful. He keeps great records from previous visits, follows up with patients on current issues, and makes great use of available technology to diagnose, track, and treat (if necessary) possible issues. His concern for the well being of his patients is genuine, and above all hes FANTASTIC at LISTENING to the concerns of his patients. A unique trait among physicians. His concern for the health of his patients transcends his desire to expand his bank account. I am proud to call him my personal physician.

I cant even find the words to express my admiration for this doctor. He is very professional but also has a great sense of humor. He is willing to try and find the problem and will listen as you state your concerns. He is not just the I will write a perscription for that type of doctor. I have referred him to my coworkers, friends and family. People who know me say, I am hard to please so this means a lot coming from me. Thanks Dr. Theisz for being wonderful and making every visit seem like I am the only patient you have in your very busy office. :)

I cannot express how much I appreciate Dr. Theiszs care for my son and myself over the last few years. He is a great family doctor in his demeanor, and he absolutely nailed a few diagnoses for things that were definitely not obvious to us. His referrals to other physicians were spot on. In my travels, Ive told people what a great family Dr we have in him and one of my biggest regrets in moving away will be not having Dr. Theisz as our family physician. Thank You Dr. T!!!

Dr. Theisz is a kind and personable man; even better, he is a very good doctor. He sees through to the person I am no matter what conditions or complaints I have. He is a thorough and careful diagnostician, which I appreciate. He is cheerful and upbeat. He has my trust and my confidence. Great physician. Caring and patient, Dr. Theisz is not the typical "in and out" doctor that is so prevalent today. He spends the time necessary to make a proper diagnosis and to inform the patient. From the moment he warmly greets you by name and shakes your hand, to the "always glad to see you, take care" good bye, one feels like there is no other patient as important to Dr. Theisz than themselves.

Dr. Theisz is the primary for our entire family and does a wonderful job. Whenever we need him he is there and his office staff is more than accommodating, even on short notice. I feel that they actually care about us and they remember us by name. We have moved an hour away and still drive to see him where previously he was 5 minutes away. It’s worth it.

I recently had to ask for assistance in the wee hours of Sat. morning concerning an infection. Dr. Theisz was very understanding of my pain and, surprisingly, answered his own after hours phone. Many physicians do not. He is kind, understanding, and really listens to patients.

Poor care - shoddy waiting room - poor listening skills - bad advice. After one visit and little care about my condition, I would never reccomend this poorly educated physician to anyone. Recently moved to area - find a better doctor.
