From the desk of Dr. Michelle Campbell As I look through some of these horrific reviews, I am reminded of the lies and deceit that humans impose upon each other. It saddens me that after the countless hours that myself and my staff have spent making sure that all of our patients referrals and authorizations have been completed, making sure that we look after their welfare, even after other offices have closed and gone home for the day, that only a few grateful souls can write a positive review. I would like to think that there is good in all people but just turn on the news and in less that 5 minutes you will soon realize how untrue that premise is. In response to a few reviews, for patient who claims that she was scheduled for a Friday evening and we were not there, I kindly say that for 7 years, we have never been open after noon time on fridays, furthermore, the date in question was a scheduled surgery date for one of my family members and we were not even in the office that day. I would suggest that you figure out where you need to be and when prior to spreading propaganda. For the person who posted the review for her friend with severe fibromyalgia, whom she states we canceled an appointment for and then were mean to her. We have certainly had to cancel appointments and we will again in the future. Fortunately doctors are human beings too and we are unable to schedule the illnesses and tragedies that occur in our lives. My staff and I have always worked diligently to reschedule your appointment for the next business day and/or make sure that your medications are refilled immediately until we can see you. I would caution you that if you have no knowledge of what you are speaking about, then you probably should not be speaking about it. For the people that acted inappropriately in my office and were asked to leave, I have no regerts. For the patients that were asked to leave and back requesting to be reinstated, when they realize that the grass was not greener on the other side, there is no need to write a negative review, afterall, we couldnt be so bad if you are asking to come back. By the grace of God we have remained in business for many years and have been busy and successful for 1 reason, we love what we do and we are dammed good at it. The Kardashians have the worst things said about them, despite that they remain successful and have achieved more fame and fortune than most people will ever see. When you are good, you are worth talking about, be it negative or positive. I received a call from Google the other day, one of many calls they make to businesses everyday, offering to provide a service that would remove negative postings from their website and leave only the positive reviews for a price of only $350 per month. My response to them was "no thanks." How else would America remain the way it has become if people werent able to feed off negativity? If you are disrespectful and care nothing about your health by being noncompliant in regards to your remmended follow up appointments and testing, then please do not expect us to refill your medications or remain your advocate. For our loyal and compliant patients, we thank you. If you are looking for kind, comprehensive care and you are able to treat people like human beings, then I promise you that I will work to get you and your family to your healthiest state possible. If you choose to pity us or call our office to antagonize us to see how far you can push us based on these reviews, BEWARE, WE WILL NOT STAND FOR NONSENSE AND WILL DEFEND OURSELVES IF NEEDED. I will leave everyone especially the "haters" whom have remained my "motivaters," with one thing, WHAT GOD HAS BLESSED, NO MAN CAN CURSE. Signed Respectfully by Dr. Michelle Campbell

My friend had an absolutely horrific experience with the office staff, as seems to be the trend here. My friend has been a patient of Dr. Campbells for a while, and suffers from fibromyalgia. Recently she was hospitalized, and had scheduled an appointment almost 3 weeks in advance. As she works three jobs, her time is very limited. So the other day, a member of Dr. Campbells office staff called her less than an hour before her appointment and told her it was canceled. When she asked why, the staff told her (verbatim) "I dont have to tell you anything." Obviously my friend became upset, at which point the staff member told her "This is Dr. Campbells office, she can run it however she wants to." How utterly professional. She also needed the appointment to renew a prescription. When she inquired if she could get it refilled if it was just faxed over, the staff member not only LAUGHED at her, but obviously said "No". She began to rattle off new appointment times, but when my friend told her she works three jobs and her time is pretty sparse, the staff member HUNG UP ON HER after telling her "Well youre not being compliant." I am in utter disbelief at how this office is run. I would love to know what kind of doctor allows her office staff to belittle, ridicule and HANG UP ON PATIENTS when theyre in obvious need of medical treatment. Apart from being completely unprofessional and unacceptable, it is inhumane to treat someone suffering from a crippling medical condition (or ANYONE for that matter) in this way. I will be looking for more outlets to let Dr. Campbell know how her office is managed, because this thoroughly disgusts me.

The one star says "hated it" but I would rather say "one star--very disappointed". I had one visit with Dr. Campbell and thought she was medically knowledgeable and thorough. She referred me for tests. One office staff seemed to fumble through the process of understanding the referral and giving me instruction by relying on the other staff person for directions on what she was supposed to be doing. I was told another office would be contacting me, but after a week I called back to inquire if I had been mistaken as to whether I was supposed to call them. I was errantly told that they had called me but I had not returned their call. I asked if Dr. Campbell could refer me to another practice closer to my home (where there are several such offices). The staff became rude and demeaning, even hanging up on me. When I did talk by phone to Dr. Campbell later, she was completely defensive of her staff without hearing any of my complaints. Another reviewer indicates the staff are mother and sister, that I dont know, but that would be one explanation for the unprofessional behavior of staff and the doctors defense of them. If good communication between you and your doctor is important youre left to the whim of the staff as to whether or not that happens with Dr. Campbell.

I have been seeing Dr. Campbell for over two years now. She was very compassionate and did not rush me out of the office. She heard my complaints and without her, I worry I never would have found out that I had Graves Disease and Rocky Mountain Fever. As I continue to struggle with my disease and the effects of it on my family, she continues to check on me and run additional tests to try to find out if there is anything else going on. She even took care of my husband whom I referred to her. He also thought she was amazing and was genuine in her concerns. Her nurse is amazingly nice and helpful. Her front desk staff can be a little moody at times....but cant we all. She has a gift for caring for others and I am very blessed to have her in my life. She has done more for me than any other doctor I have seen about this. By the way, I am have been suffering from symptoms of my disease for about 10 years and she is the only one who caught it. Thank you Dr. Michelle Campbell and may you continue to bless this world with your positive energy and amazing gift of healing.
