Horrible money hungry rip offs. I am so sad to find that Dr Lea Lazar and her henchwoman Rene, erroneously called the office manager, are allowed to charge and recharge my insurance company for the same healthcare. I had a full physical examination 1.5 months ago and explained that my joints were beginning to hurt. I had all the bloodwork and exams done at a cost over $1,000.00. I had to go again yesterday to get another shot (part of a series) for pnuemonia vaccine and paid another copay! I explained that this was part of series and should have been covered by the huge charges from the physical. I was told by Rebecca that insurance makes them charge this? Ok. I got my shot then saw Dr Lazar and again explained that my joints are hurting and I found some old 7.5 mg hydrocodone and have had to take half a pill a day. She signed a form for me to see a chiropractor. I called chiropractor to be sure I would get xrays as well. They told me to call my doctor. I called Dr Lazar and talked to a most horrible woman named Renee she said I have to have a physical to get xrays, I reminded her I did and she said oh yes but you need up to come in for appointment before the "good" doctor can order xrays??? I explained I was in yesterday and paid my copay and talked to Dr Lazar. She said they wont order xrays unless I come in again!!! I said this is a ripoff of the insurance company she was very nasty and told me if I keep cussing she would drop me as a patient!! I have reported this to Blue Cross for them to investigate fraudulent practices. Also I am reporting this to all reporting agencies. This Doctor is not erhical!!! Renee should really be working at a profession that suits her manners and attitude, such as a correctional officer in a state prison. Stay away from these people!

They threaten people to setup "mandatory" appointments which are not covered by the insurance. Then they threaten to charge $50 if we cancel less than 24 hours in advance. The tone used is very unsettling. Proved that my forced appointment was more than 24 hours away and cancelled that and the appointment for Physical for my daughter.. Are they part of a Mafia gang? STAY AWAY!

I have been with Dr. Lazar since her practices beginnings. She and her staff are like family and treat my family the same. She and her staff are thorough, take the time to be with you, talk with you and get you the treatment needed if needed. I HIGHLY recommend her practice. My whole family will recommend her practice.

They consistently overcharge and cause disputes with insurance and on top of it have a very ride staff. Lazar herself is fine enough, but not worth the hassle they put you through. Everyone there speaks to you in an accusatory manner and generally treats you like an annoyance rather than a patient/customer
