23 November 2016 My family and I began using Caring Hands Healthcare Services (CHHS) in January 2015. We have a Middle School age son with Down Syndrome and Autistic Spectrum behaviors as well as healthcare needs. My husband and I both work in Washington, D.C. which means that we head to work and to our commuter lots at 5:30 a.m. and do not arrive home until early evening. Being so far away from home on a daily basis caused us much concern. CHHS is one of the few caregiving agencies in the Fredericksburg area that cares for individuals under the age of 18. Jay and Linda Pernell sat down with us in our home to explain the details of the services they provide and to assist with the paperwork associated with Medicaid patients. They were warm, reassuring, and knowledgeable. They gave us what parents need most, peace of mind that their child is being well cared for. Our family, and especially our younger son, loves our primary caregiver and we hope she will be with us for many years. Occasionally when she has other commitments, CHHS sends an alternate caregiver who our son is already familiar with. Linda, Jay, and our caregivers are kind, reliable, and empathetic towards the needs of special kids. They are essential in my family’s daily life. To the Management of CHHS, I have been with Caring Hands since 2013 after leaving another home health care company that was not very professional and left me questioning the home health care business altogether. I was referred to your company by a friend who had used your business in the past. Since the very first day, I knew I was in good hands. The Nurses that did my initial health checkup were professional, helpful & extremely friendly. My new aide, Brenda Lokey, has been like an angel sent to me. She is always there for me, adjusting her hours to meet my needs, gone out of her way to make me feel comfortable; Both before & after my liver transplant, and has become like family to me, especially helping me after my Mothers death while I was in the hospital. My husband is suffering from Alzheimers and a friend recommended CHHS to me. The CHHS caregiver that worked with us was comforting, supportive and kind. She was very experienced and shared a great deal of knowledge about his condition. The nurse who visited us and checked him on a regular basis offered the same qualities. Every phone call was friendly and helpful. I could not have asked for more professional or better service. Im a grateful client. My husband had excellent, reliable care in our home. My nephew has Cerebral Palsy, confined to a wheel chair, and unable to perform any daily tasks of living. An sudden emergency occurred and Caring Hands was at my home to help within 1 hour of calling them after hours at 8pm! The cost was the most competitive in the Fredericksburg area, and the service was exquisite. They made my nephew feel very comfortable and I cant say enough positive things about our experience. Please reach out to them with any home service need you may have. They can do it all.

I am writing this review to commend my home health provider Mrs. Annette Tay. Annette has been providing care for my 23 year old son Darius for the past 18 months.
