We have been using Pet Centre for a quite some time now. Their doggy daycare came highly recommended by one of their frequent clients. We love the people at the doggy day care and the care that our dog gets everytime she goes there. I would highly recommend it to everyone out there looking for a great place for your four legged child to be at when you are at work. Unfortunately I cannot say the same thing about their veterinary services. We have used our vet in Fairfax since the first day we got our dog and when he retired after just three years of providing us with great care for our dog we decided to move vets close to where we live. Petcentre was a no brainer. Close to home and our dog already knew some of there staff there. We just waited for the right time. It happened to be recently when our dog showed symptoms of infection so I though what a great opportunity to establish a new relationship with a vet at the Petcentre. We went for a our first visit and I got very disappointed. First of all the vet that was assisting us did not do your typical exam, she didnt even check the dogs temperature. Then she left us in the office for exactly 40 minutes to "check the urine sample" while I could clearly hear her assisting other patient on my time. We ended up with a huge bill for services that where barely provided to us. When I asked about the charges I was given bunch of silly excuses. I dont mind spending money on my dog but I like to see what I am paying for. If you are looking for more affordable and thorough vet practice this place will not be for you. It is overpriced and the service received doesnt justify the amount of $$$ you will end up spending. Great place for a day care we highly recommend it but not for a vet services. Lesson learned.

THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY Went there for TEN Years with 4 dogs. My oldest dog wasnt doing well. Told the Main Vet I want a second opinion. Told me to put the dog down or give them 5 THOUSAND for surgery, over the phone. When I returned to pick up my dog. They called the police. Only thing they didnt realize is that my mother heard the whole conversation I had with the Vet because the Phone was on speaker phone. ( The Vet wasnt man enough to come from behind the back of the door. Kept peaking his head threw small window in the door. ) Manager is just as terrible as Vet. Couldnt say anything after my mother repeated what the Vet said word for word to me. It been a year. My dog is doing well. Took him somewhere else and got the surgery done for HALF THE PRICE

Pet CentreAnimal Hospital is the very BEST! I always request Dr. Johnson because he has a big heart towards taking care of my dogs and he has never made me feel like I am just "another client". He has always given us the best advice when a decision had to be made. He has taken such great care of my dogs and honestly I would not trust any other facility with my animals. The staff is great. They are very friendly and always have a smile on their face to greet me and my dog Skip. Friendly from the check in and even more at check out. They always call the following day to check on my dog to make sure he is doing well after any procedure. Pet Centre is not just a "Vet Clinic". They have become a very special part of our lives and I would highly recommend them!

Pet Centre Animal Hospital has been a part of our lives for many, many years (well over a decade). They have always been so thorough and caring with all the pets weve ever had. Dr. Johnson has been our #1 Vet there at the hospital. Hes the kind of vet that will take the time and sit with your pet on the floor and talk to them and check them out all the while. Hes gentle and kind, and has always been on the mark in assessing what was wrong, if anything. We have rescued dogs, and we breed cats, and Dr. Johnson and staff have been there for us the whole way. Cant say enough about them!

All of the staff are very friendly. The vet was very concerned for my animal, went to her level for her exam as she was very nervous. I even received a call from the doctor to check on her. They dont seem like the type of vet to offer tests & services just for money, but to actually gain more info on your pet. So glad I switched to this clinic!
