On the recommendation of my benefits rep, I made an appointment earlier this month with Dr. Patrice Harmon to fix some unsightly decay in my front teeth before my wedding in two months. From before the minute I walked in the door, I felt like I was in good hands. The receptionist was friendly. I was able to download and print off the forms for my first visit right from their site. The assistants were smiling and cracking jokes with everyone in the waiting room. Dr. Harmon was gentle and kind, answered questions I didnt even know to ask, and made a plan for my treatment that fits both my budget and comfort level. My last experience at the dentist was not great and caused me not to go back to a dentist for 8 years. If you are nervous about going to the dentist, please call this office. Everyone within their walls was absolutely charming and sweet. I actually almost look forward to seeing them all again (...almost!).

My nerves/fears were immediately addressed/laid to rest by Dr Hawkins and his staff on a recent visit to place 2 crowns. They were informative, interactive and patient as they described the process. I was very comfortable throughout the procedure and was fascinated to watch Dr Hawkins create a computer model of my crowns unique to my physiology. This office has the technology to use the computer program to create the crowns on site allowing for immediate placement- foregoing the need for temporary crowns and return visit/s to obtain the product from an off site lab. I was invited to watch the CEREC machine configure my crowns based on Dr Hawkins computer configuration. Very cool! I walked out of the office a few hours later with a beautiful smile; the final product in place. It was a great experience Nancy Loudy

I have been seeing the same dentist for 30 years and had been making a long drive going out of my way to see her because of her great care and team, but I recently made the switch to Hawkins Family Dentistry. Admittedly, marrying their new associate is what brought me through the door, but I could not have been happier with the switch. The entire team at Hawkins Family Dentistry is very friendly, and I immediately felt at home with them. I had a great first visit and will definitely be returning. Laura cleaned my teeth and was extremely delicate yet thorough. I really liked how the office has a upbeat and fun vibe. You can really tell that they love what they do, and that translates into a relaxed patient. Thanks for a wonderful first visit!

My family and I LOVE this office. Both Dr. Hawkins and Dr. Harmon are sweet and attentive, and the dental hygienist, Elizabeth, somehow perfects the art of conversing with you while giving you a fantastically thorough but gentle teeth cleaning. Shes awesome. My husband - who hates going to the dentist - always leaves with a smile and a follow up appointment THAT HE KEEPS. Thats saying something. The office is sparkling clean and theyve considered every detail in decorating the office - the ceiling tiles even have cute little fish pattern imprints to entertain the kids. Theres a TV in every patient room, and they always ask what you want to watch. I love that they guarantee their work. Id recommend this office to anyone!

My family just visited Dr. Harmon at Hawkins Family Dentistry for the first time, and the entire staff was so welcoming! My 11 month old daughter had a Happy Visit, which was so nice. She got to lay in the chair in my lap, while Dr. Harmon looked at her teeth with the mirror. My husband and I each had our teeth cleaned, and the hygienists were knowledgable and friendly. Dr. Harmon gave us an easily understood treatment plan for what my husband and I needed, as well as the complete breakdown of costs, including what insurance would cover. How often do you get that sort of thorough, up-front information from a doctor?! I know we will certainly be back to see Dr. Harmon and the wonderful staff at Hawkins!

I had wonderful experience today taking my almost three-year-old son to his first ever trip to the dentist. Laurie was so warm and calm, and she did a great job of not rushing anything on him... so much so that he slowly opened up and let her do everything. He was so excited to tell his dad about it on the phone as soon as we left! Thanks to your whole team of friendly employees. My first visit last month was the best trip to the dentist I have ever had! I walked away having learned better ways to care for my teeth and had the most comfortable cleaning of my life.

I have been seeing dentists for almost 60 years and Dr. Hawkins is by far the best dentist that I have experienced. I have found that he always has time to answer my questions, is honest and looks for the best solutions for resorations and cosmetic work when those times come. And by following his advice I have a whole new smile, healthier teeth and improved bite. I cant say enough good things about my experience with both Dr. Hawkins and his staff and feel like the team is sincerely interested in my health and wellbeing.

My first interaction with Dr. Hawkins was two years ago after visiting several other dentists over the years. I can honestly say that Dr. Hawkins takes the time to get to know you and make exams as comfortable as possible. In addition, I fully believe that Dr. Hawkins and his staff are knowledgeable, experienced, educated, and skilled at dental care. If youre looking for a great dentist, choose Dr. Hawkins; I wouldnt choose anyone else in Richmond!

Dr. Hawkins and his staff are by far the most proffesional dentistry office we have been to. Always making you feel at home, service with a smile and understanding your wants and needs.
