UPDATING MY REVIEW. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE. On Sunday I was very pleased. I went in for a Uti. They were fadt efficient and i was in and out thanks to their "reserve my spot" option online. They were suppose to send my culture in to make sure the antibiotic they prescribed would work on the bacteria. Well.. My condition got worse yesterday (Wednesday) and i was in a LOT of pain. I called and called to see if they had my labs back and when i asked the phone was disconnected. Then I couldnt get through after. I went to a different urgent care because i needed a referral from my insurance (Bayview Medical Clinic on Chesapeake Blvd) and they called Sentara to see if they had my labs. The lady said she would fax them over as soon as she got my release. 2 hours later, no records, the doctor at Bayview sent me home with a new script and told me they would call if the found out anything from Sentara. (Rwmind you the culture should take no more the 48 hours) TODAY, (Thursday) I got a call from Sentara telling me t9 Sop taking the Bactrum (which my last dose was yesterday morning) and that they sent a script for the SAME thing the doctor at Bayview gave me last night. And got very snarky with me when I told her I had to go back to urgent care last night and without their help because they never sent over my record, was prescribed exactly what they wanted me to take now . She had an attitude and asked me to spell it for her and tell her the dosage. And then said Okay and hung up on me.... nope nope nope. Never again. Will I go there.

The most discourteous obnoxious unprofessional office staff....My childs father who does NOT have custody brings the child in to be seen during his visitation time last Friday night and you treat me like Im some stranger when I bring her insurance card in this morning. I will never come back to this urgent care; this office is not representative of the Sentara care or providers or facilities....sub standard employees in this building, refused to take my childs insurance info over the phone refused to provide copies of her discharge paperwork and refused to update her medical record and give me a copy of such...Office Manager was out of the office today. Nurse refused to provide privacy information to validate the denial of providing me discharge paperwork; I will never come back to this practice. Ive seen dr Russo for over 10 years and he wouldnt come to speak to me about the issue....thats great...this location is the worst

My employer sent me here. Otherwise, I WOULD NOT recommend that anyone who values their time come to this facility. I am a healthcare provider and I am almost certain that this place either has a poor office manager if one at all. I am here for TB skin test and titer. I checked in 35 minutes ago and the service screen said I would be seen in 15 minutes. Why have a check in tab if the times are not relatively accurate? If this is a reflection of Sentara as a medical entity that is very deflating.

One star because they at least saw my son. Prescribed a medication that needed prior authorization for insurance coverage and I was told "we dont do that". How in the world can you prescribe medications and not be willing to contact insurance for your patient!!. My son was at the pharmacy and wanted to have them speak to the office. Office insisted the pharmacy call them directly. Wouldnt take the call!! Bunch of nonsense!!! Shameful Sentara. Shameful!!!!

First time I visited here I did the walk in and waited 2 hours to see a doctor about poison ivy which was a 5 minutes discussion. Second time I needed to go to an urgent care I thought I would try it out again. I thought I just caught them on a bad day. I did the only check in which should have gone faster. Here it is 1 hour after my "appointment time" still waiting to see the doctor. I will just take the extra time to drive to patient first.

Worst place I ever been. My son almost died, was completely dehydrated and they refuse to see him. They told us go to CHKD. The manager was rude and yelling at me and talking about my sons medical issues in front 0of other patients. The front staff was unprofessional. I had to go to Bayview around the corner to get care for my son . Thank God Bayview was there. Cause my son collapsed in my arm we would never make it to CHKD.

i had an infection got a shot and then they sent me on the way (after waiting 30min for the doc to stop yapping to the patient next door about the shipyard) not knowing i was supposed to be prescribed antibiotics as it was not even listed on my discharge papers under medication prescribed i went back got charged another visit for something that they didnt do correctly too bad i didnt die would of been a great malpractice suit

Last time i came here, i found out i had a serious condtion. I was crying a river and the doctor just literally walked away and didnt say anything. He didnt tell me what to do next, what medicine to take, how to mange the condtion, and he did even explain the condition to me!! Terrible service. My lrimary doctor was disgusted when I told her about my service here!

Absolutely the rudest people Ive met, the nurses treat you like trash if you have tattoos, and heaven forbid they get off their asses and actually do their job without showing how displeased they are about it. If you dont want to help people, find another profession. Dr. Rosco (sp ) is the only decent person there was polite. Its not that hard to do your job.

I dont give this place any stars. The worst urgent care. I went to be seen and they checked me in after I explained my problem so the registered nurse told me to check in. Then turn around and tell me they wont see me, because it was ten minutes til closing after I was already checked in and waiting. I will never return to this urgent care ever.

I took my mom who is 90 years old in because she was not feeling well on 08.12.2017. Two great people who stood out were the receptionist ( I wish I got her name) who checked us in and a LPN named Mary. Everyone was great, but these two were friendly and you could tell they really cared. Thank you, Paul Barr

After waiting for almost 2hrs, the doctor never called in the prescription for us. Sitting here trying to call this morning to leave a mesaage, I keep getting a recording telling me the number is not in service ???????? And my husbands condition has only gotten worse over night...

My first visit to an urgent care facility was a great one. Wa it time was reasonable, the staff was very friendly and very helpful. The nurse was fabulous and the doctor was first rate. I am so glad that I picked this place.

Dr. Kaado is a lifesaver, the staff at the front desk are extremely kind and helpful. I am very appreciative of the experience I had today. They took a very frustrating and stressful day and had me leave with a smile on my face.
