Dr. DJ is awesome. She really gives you the best advice on top items that arent as costly but give you the most bang for your buck. She doesnt push anything that you dont want to have done, (I.e.- X-rays, tests, etc.). The staff are friendly and the wait times are not more than 10-15 minutes upon arrival. However I will say that there is one Vet who works here that is very very misguided in her craft. Not only did she give us god awful advice, but she was pushy and talked to you like youre stupid. Very irritating. My dog had vaginitis and she decided to only put cream on her vulva and gave her no medications what so ever. She advised us that once our puppy had her first "heat" cycle the infection would go away on its own. The next week after that we had to bring her back for the same issue and Dr. DJ told us that her bacterial vaginitis was severe! And that she was floored the other Vet hadnt given her any oral antibiotics to fight it off! She prescribed us 2 weeks of medication to get rid of the infection. Dr. DJ is awesome, but the other older female Vet is not. Always try to get Dr.DJ, as she makes all attempts to help you save money. She also offers military and senior discounts on Tuesdays. She also provided us with a puppy package that covered the majority of our dogs shots for $88, which was a steal! Overall its a great place to bring your pets, I just wish they offered 24 hour care, as well as Sunday hours.

If you read reviews for Stafford animal hospital you will see most of them are positive. These reviews refer to routine check ups and shots that are common place in regards to day to day care of a pet. If you are planning on utilizing the services of this business for more complicated procedures I would give you this piece of advice. Buyer beware...after going there for a routine operation for my dog and I were forced to return 2 more times due to complications. Even after I informed staff members that an infection had set in I was ignored and patronized by the Vet. They attempted to shift the blame back on to me for their lack luster care and medical advice. Only after seeking the care of another vet did my dog receive proper treatment. The vet tech/nurse staff is friendly and helpful however I have no confidence when it comes to the skill of the Doctors who work at this facility. I would never take another pet to these people or recommend them to anyone else.

The facility is clean and very presentable, but it is the staff that makes this place shine. All of the staff are very professional and obviously care about the animals and the owners. I watched the vet and one of the other staff members provide a woman with the ashes of her pet, explain what everything was in the package she received, and comforted the woman. It was very touching. In a time when customer service does not seem to be a priority, it is awesome to see people who take pride in their work and care about their customers. I will continue to provide them with my business for as long as I have pets.

SAH is absolutely AWESOME!!!! Lived in Stafford for 10yrs and my Sheba (85lb shepard mix) loved going to the Vet more than she loved going to PetSmart or the dog park!!! As a Marine, I admit I am very anal! They took EXCELLENT care of Shebas medical needs, always squeezed her in when there was an emergency and made an excellent referral when she needed to have surgery. They ALWAYS went out of their way to help and make sure she was taken care of. I hated having to find another vet when I moved. If you are new to the area, Stafford Animal Hospital is the place to go.

you cant go in the back with your dog, its because its so filthy back there theyre trying to hide the mass. The vetnarian that I had needs to go back to vet school, she was not confident in urself at all, after taking my dog to a different vetnarian he got better very quickly. stay away from this place, if they wont let you go into the back you know theyre hiding something, just look at the place where you first walk in there is dirt everywhere would you take your child to a doctor with a dirty operating room?

Needed to take my Dane mix and he has horrid anxiety and leash aggression. Very friendly, clean, professional, and understanding staff and office in general my husband and I loved the trip, price is like the usual around an estimated 150 for all the basics. Knew how to handle my dogs anxiety as well. Great staff love them. Will be using them for our vet office from now on. Also recommended trainer when needed and answered questions for a patient they didnt have their, I highly recommend using this office.

We have been residents of Stafford County for the past 30 years. During this period, we have opened our home to one cat and several dogs, including mutts, Bassett Hounds, and most recently four wonderful Dachshunds. Medical and wellness care over this 30-year time frame has been given exclusively by the veterinarians of Stafford Animal Hospital. We also board our Dachshunds at this facility.

I thought the facility was very nice, however, I took my dog in for a routine vaccination and was charged over $60 for one shot. The vet also tried to sell me other services, which my dog did not need. I hate pushy sales people, and thats what this vet reminded me of. I dont think I will go back.

I take my dog here for shots and for the boarding facility. All the employees are very sweet with him and I feel that I am leaving him in trusted hands. The prices are reasonable and usually when I take him in for his check ups the wait is never long. All around great place and great employees!

My GSD gets major anxiety when visiting the vet, Dr. DJ did her best to help with getting his vaccinations and clipping his nails. My dog was definitely more than a handful but Im thankful that she still got the job done. The rest of the staff was very friendly and I love the vet office.

I just recently started going to Stafford Animal Hospital after adopting my kitten. I am very pleased with their professionalism and kindness to my pet. I was thrilled that they called me the day after my kitten received several shots to make sure she was doing well.

This is the best vet in the area. The staff and doctor are extremely nice and truly love their patients. I love that its always the same staff and doctor you dont get shuffled from doctor to doctor. I wouldnt take my dog anywhere else :)

These guys have been my family vets for years and they were super sensitive when they put our dog down. It was so sad but they made the moment about us even though they had to squeeze us in between appointments.

Staff put us directly in touch with the vet for euthanasia details. Very compassionate and caring. They only charge $38, as other clinics were trying to gouge $150+ for this procedure.

Dr. Kennedy was the best with my dog! You can tell she is really into animals. My only complaint is that this place is a little pricey. But you get what you pay for.
