I went to Heritage Animal Hospital yesterday for a basic checkup and because I noticed my new puppy, Casey, appeared to be having some type of ear pain and was scratching at his ears. I originally had an appointment with Cascades Animal Clinic but I was 10min late and they couldnt see us. I called Heritage and they were able to see my puppy right away, already a plus. I was very impressed by Dr. Moghal right from the start as he spent more time answering all my questions compared to every human doctor Ive ever been too. His bedside manner is impeccable and made me and Casey feel comfortable right away. What also impressed me is after taking a q-tip culture of Caseys ear, Dr. Moghal actually invited me to look through their microscope to see the ear mites which were causing my pup so much discomfort. All in all they are very thoughtful and thorough and this is the only doctors office I actually am happy to go visit even though I hope we go rarely as I want my puppy to not get sick. Im usually very picky about doctors and Dr. Moghal has such a pleasing personality that makes you immediately at easy and makes you feel like your pet is in great hands. The rest of the staff there is also very nice, helpful and they really seem to care about their furry little patients. If you have a pet make sure you go to Heritage Animal Hospital they really are the best and they also are reasonably priced for their procedures and they even try to save you as much money as possible by not doing procedures that arent needed just to get more out of you.

In May of this year my wife and I brought an English Mastiff puppy home and named him Thor. We visited Heritage the next day. Dr. Moghal and his staff were wonderful and made us feel right at home. But a few months later Thor got sick. I didnt want to tell my wife and I couldnt take off work. On the way to work I called Dr. Moghal and told him what was going on. He volunteered to come to my home but they had closed the street because of paving for the day. He asked me what time I got off and I told him 6. He knew I commuted and told me he didnt care how long it would take for me to get to the hospital just call so he knew I was on the way. I did as instructed and when I arrived the entire staff stayed to take care of Thor. Long and short of it they all stayed until almost 8 (they close at 7) diagnosed Thors problem and sent me home very relieved. I cant say enough about the entire staff and visit every few weeks as they all want to know how Thor is progressing. With their help and care Thor is now a 91 lb. 6 month old puppy that loves visiting the staff... Heritage Animal Hospital absolutely rocks!!!! And thank you so very much!!!!!!!!!

Our faithful companion of almost 11 years rapidly declined over the last few weeks. We initially thought he was grieving the loss of his lifelong companion that passed away in June. Dr. Moghal had to deliver some very crushing news to us that he in fact has lymphoma. Dr. Moghal is so sincere and personable in his approach. The visit did not feel wholly medical in nature, but as though a long time friend had to deliver this news despite it being the first time he had met myself or my dog. His staff graciously fit us in between surgeries that morning, even though we were a new patient. Dr. Moghal prescribed a course of treatment that would allow us to bring our big guy home and spend some precious last moments with him. The lymph node inflammation has decreased today and he is able to eat and enjoy our company for now. We know we are on borrowed time but with two small children and the recent loss of our other pet just being able to bring him home for the weekend is a blessing. I cannot recommend Dr. Moghal enough. He genuinely cares for not only his furry patients, but their owners as well.

The staff at Heritage goes above and beyond what you would ever expect of even the best animal hospital. Dr. Mogul and staff considers their clients to be family and treats your pet as if they were treating their own. The compassion and respect is evident and youll never regret going to them for your pets care. We were a happy regular client for about 2 years and then our puppy had a severe life threatening injury and the care and treatment that he has received as moved us from happy to amazed. I want to spread the word about this great team to whomever will listen!!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the continued care to Max.

Tried the office for a couple of years. Prices were reasonable but service is not. During basic yearly checkups, doctor takes 90 seconds and even did not check our dog ears or teeth. When we walked out last time and forgot to take prescription for heartworming preventative, and called later that evening, we were told we will need to come back and go through checkup again and this time undergo blood test as well. Needless to say this was the last straw, we will go to another vet now who at least looks at your dog and checks his ears/teeth during checkups.

Dr. Moghal did not ask me what vaccinations I wanted nor did he tell me what vaccinations he was giving my dog. I did not want or need Bordetella (23$), Canine Influenza (39$), Corona (17$), Distemper (85$) OR Hydro cortisone cream (19$). The tests/vaccines I did want were expensive and I have since found them cheaper elsewhere. Dr. Moghal was excellent with my dog: he spent time to get to know her, he was calm and gentle with her. Excellent work with my dog, but the practice of administering vaccines without asking is inappropriate.

I brought my dog here and found the staff and the Doctor to be very nice. The Doctor has an excellent personality that my dog could sense as positive. I was pleased to gain some knowledge from the visit and not just a quick 5 minute turn arround. I also like the fact that the Doctor was not affraid to give me an estimate for future care and a high end estimate that he said he would not surpass in price. He seems like an honorable man and someone who takes pride in his profession. The prices for services were reasonable too.

My husband and I have been taking our dog to Dr. Moghal since we adopted him 6 years ago. Dr. Moghal and his staff have been nothing short of amazing during our visits. Our dog can be very hard to deal with but everyone at Heritage Animal Hospital is always very patient and understanding. Dr. Moghal is always so helpful and caring and makes sure our dog is staying as healthy as possible. We couldnt imagine a better vet for our dog! We highly recommend Heritage Animal Hospital to anyone looking for great care for their pet!
